I used Jimmy's for years not just for lawn mowing but for fall cleanup and tree trimming. I was…read morealways impressed when the guys cut the grass, that the crew not only used gas powered blowers to blow off the cuttings but also came up on my deck to blow off and leaves that had fallen on it between mowings. Fall cleanup(s) was so complete that spring cleanup was a snap. Eventually my wife decided we would use them also for putting down mulch in the spring because the job finally was just too much for her. No complaints here and these guys would still be doing my lawn but I finally sold the house.

We had a lot of brush and some saplings in the way and the land isn't entirely level, so he wanted to ask us about our preferences and be realistic about how we could get it done. His estimate was extremely reasonable. As a side note the other companies we called either charged for estimates or were only interested in telling me I shouldn't choose wood for my fence (without seeing my yard and the fact that it's already half fenced in with wood). The one other guy that came out didn't ask any questions or really talk to me, he just measured. Anyway back to Imperial Fence- Freddie showed up when he said he would and was very communicative in between. From the time I said I wanted a fence to the fence being completed was literally one week. Amazing. Freddie and his nephew got the job done quickly and efficiently and even helped clear some of the brush. The work is guaranteed for 3 years. I want to refer friends to him but I figured writing a review might help too. Look no further if you need a fence!

Did a fantastic job removing granite and building a retaining wall for a pool. Ripped a chunk of my…read moregarage roof off with a bulldozer but repaired it the next day. It took him a month after he said he'd finish laying sand to actually come to our house and do it. When he was done, the sand was at a fairly steep angle. When, I told him I needed the land level, he said he made it angled on purpose to drain water. I asked him to level it and he said that no where in the contract did it state that the area for the pool had to be level. He just came and got his equipment after 2 weeks of leaving it in my yard, and he left all of the huge sand bags that he used. I joked with my girlfriend that even though I put the sand bags right in the bucket of his equipment he would probably just leave them in our yard which of course, he did. He also put a road in to get his equipment up to the pool area and left it in. That road now dumps water on to my driveway which freezes. He said he could fix that problem for another 6 thousand dollars. One day he was smoking marijuana on the job which might explain why he took out a piece of my garage and threw a tantrum where he was yelling at and kicking his trailer. I would not use this company again. I showed my Supervisor who needed some landscaping done, the work he did and he thought it was really nice. Then I told him the down side to using this company and instead of driving business to this company, I unfortunately had to strongly advise against using them.

I was about to call AA Outdoor for an additional project after being very happy with work they did…read morefor us in 2017. When I ran Google search to confirm the contact info, I saw the one and only Yelp review as a top result and was a surprised at the negative nature and one star rating. This is unfortunate for two reasons. Number one my experience was entirely the opposite and apparently many others as well hold the same opinion, if you check the reviews on homeadvisor.com. Number two when I checked the other reviews from this yelp user, they were all extremely negative. Not a single positive review. Take it for what it's worth, but I will add my review here from 2017: "As others have said, Vincent and his wife Grecia do outstanding work, communicate better than any other contractor I've ever hired, and most importantly to me they are quality people. The price was fair and reasonable; they were flexible and super trustworthy. I actually enjoyed having them at my home believe it or not. We needed to tear up an old concrete driveway (~50x12) and replace it. Initially we thought we were going to go with asphalt because of the lower cost, but when we discussed the pros and cons with Vincent and compared his quote to those from other companies, we realized AA Outdoor could do a high quality concrete driveway at a price that was comparable to asphalt. Concrete will also save us maintenance and expense over asphalt too, and that decision was made in part because of the excellent communication and feedback from Vincent when we first started discussing the project. Vincent is very knowledgable and has decades of quality experience; I asked a ton of questions and he answered them all - I actually learned a lot from him. I recommend Vincent and Grecia (AA Outdoor Services) highly without a doubt!
