We saw their $5 per window coupon and went for it on our 2013 large craftsman house with 40 windows. Quite happy with the job. We changed the appointment several times to move to more convenient times and each time they were friendly and answered the phone promptly. They (2 guys) arrived on time but didn't notify us before they showed up; although when I called the day of, they provided an approximate arrival time. They worked efficiently and quickly but not rushed and washed all windows, screens and sills including garage door and basement well-windows. They washed all the screens together so if you have custom-fitted screens you may want to get them to mark each one so they put them back in he same spots. Price was quite fair- they even took $20 off when they re-counted the windows and there were fewer than they initially counted. Our windows are really clean. read more

They said they are busy with other appointment doing window washing and would be at my place between 113:30-1:00PM. At 2PM, still no show nor call. Called about gutter cleaning after seeing their ad in The HomeMag. They didn't answer when I initially called, but I left a voicemail. They called me back the next day, and I made an appointment for them to come out and give me an estimate. The appointment was for a few days later, and they showed up right on time. The price was reasonable, and they could complete the work right away, so I had them go ahead and clean my gutters. They got the job done quickly and professionally. I wasn't on the ladder myself to see the clean gutters, but I saw the garbage bag filled with leaves and other stuff they cleaned out of the gutters. I also got the mailer coupon advertising house pressure washer for only $225.00. I have a colonial 2 story house and it was very green on the north side of the house. I haven't had it cleaned in 3 years and when they finished the job, housr looking brand new! They also cleaned the outside of the gutters too. I had them also do my back wooden deck 13 feet by 12 feet. They power washed and sealed for only $250.00. Also, had them clean inside and out all 12 windows in my house for $5.00 each. They showed the day of early and cleaned the deck and fence and scheduled to come back 2 days later to stain the deck. They didnt show on Wed so I called and they scheduled me for Sunday at 9am. This company had an ad in a circular for power washing and gutter cleaning. I called and scheduled an appointment for them to come and do both jobs. The day before the scheduled they called while I was at work and stated that rather than doing the job at 9:00 as scheduled they would be there at 11:30. As I work and arranged to go in late, I was annoyed about this! I called and told them I was not going to wait until 11:30 for them to first start the job as I would wind up losing the entire day!! We agreed they would show up after 4, when I pressed for a time, since I would need to come home early from work, he said they would be there by 4:30. Well, they showed up at 4:50, and the first they did was tell me it would be $100 more than the advertised price! When I balked stating that we had called based on the ad the guy said the house was bigger than they count for the ad. Nothing in the ad stated a size, and my house is not huge! I told them I was only willing to pay what they had advertised and they left. Three minutes later the phone rang and the owner asked if his crew was there -I am sure he knew full well they had left and why! I told him what had happened and he asked if I wanted them to clean the INSIDE of the Gutters and stated IF I did, that was the extra charge! I told him I was not interested in his doing the work, as I felt he was dishonest and unprofessional. Consider yourself warned! Like many others grateful for the flyers to provide us contact information for summer tasks like house, deck and windows clean window washing. I had to call several times to get a call back but since they advertised windows inside and out for what I felt reasonable continued to call. Made appt for vinyl siding, deck to be power washed and windows. They arrived 2 hours early, which may sound impressive but one needs to be home! 2 men older truck with not very impressive equipment. I should have known better by the way they spoke at me not to me. I really wanted this job done so re arranged my appointments to make work. To my disappointment the job has turned out really bad. Major damage done to my wood deck. The power washer was misused and splintered wood everywhere. They did not remove the furniture from the deck when saying they would do so as I was carrying things off etc. I had 3 rugs that were thrown into the yard which was fine except for the fact they were not placed in an area that was in the line of blasts of water and dirt from the project.. Planters had dirt and plants blown from them rugs now need additional cleaning and I have spent days scrubbing screens, furniture, grills, window sills etc.I have used a power washer before at my last home and realize what happens when you do not know how to use the equipment properly. One of the men doing the work spoke at me saying just put a stain on the deck and all will be ok. The other one did not speak english. I called giving the opportunity for the company to correct and they do no do what they say they will. I wanted them to have opportunity to correct before writing this however its been a couple of weeks now. Long story short the owner has made an appointment twice now to discuss the damage and has not called to cancel/reschedule and has not showed up. DO NOT CALL THIS COMPANY FOR SERVICE!! I received a Home Services magazine in the mail a few weeks ago and found a very nice looking ad on page 13 from R&J Home services. The pictures showed service personell cleaning siding and gutters from ladders and a bucket lifter. I called and specifically asked for siding cleaning and cleaning of dead vines from my tall chimney. I was assured by the phone agent that this was possible. That they would come out and give an estimate and if agreed upon, perform the work on that day. My first appointment was on 9/8/18 for which they did not show. I called and was told due to the rain we would need to reschedule. Okay, one mistake that they didn't call me...I had to call them...forgiven. We try again. Next appointment today 9/14/18. The ad stated $225 siding only Larger homes SLIGHTLY higher. Okay. I advised the gentleman all of siding and the chimney clean off. He says $400. I mistakenly assumed the $225 plus the 'slightly higher' AND the chimney clean off. I agreed. They finish and come to the door for payment. When I went out to inspect, I found the chimney untouched. I asked about this and the worker acted like he didn't know what I was talking about. Said they don't clean chimney exteriors. So, I paid $175 for the second floor siding which is NOT 'Slightly Higer!!' I know it will do absolutely no good at all to call the office and complain. The reason I chose this company was one very important statement in their ad... FAMILY OWNED & OPERATED... There will be no one 'In Charge' to complain to. I have used R &J for the past 5 years. Window cleaning has always been very good. So disappointed this year. They have always cleaned the window sills along with the windows but not this year. Window sills are so dirty and they couldn't miss seeing that they needed a wipe down. Think it's time to move on to someone new. Would not recommend anymore. read more

DO not use this service. I was scheduled for power washing my siding for an early morning Saturday appointment. No one showed up until I had to call several times. The guys finally showed up about 4 hours late around noon and gave lame excuse that my early appointment was a mistake since they don't work early on Saturday! The guy who could speak English was very rude and did not apologize for coming very late, They started to power wash using my hose instead of theirs so water was leaking all over the place, then their equipment broke down so I never got my siding power washed! These guys were so unprofessional, incompetent, and never apologized or even offered to come back! I called to complain about the terrible service so the scheduler, who barely speaks English said someone will come the next day to power wash. Again, no one showed up or called me about my appointment!!
