R&B Cellars at "The Riggers Loft" next to the bay in Point Richmond is a great treat for your palate. I liked every wine I tried of theirs. These hand crafted wines will turn a head. They are beautifully made. Affordable and lush. Balanced flavors and color. It is hard selecting my favorite. And the ambience is enhanced by the tasting room staff.

    Amazing wine bar!!

I'm a little hesitant to let the word get out about this hidden gem. Because once the world finds out what I know, I probably won't be able to get in without a reservation. What do I and a growing number of people know? We know that the view here is without a doubt one of THE BEST I've seen; the drive and as you sit and sip really wonderful varieties of wine. There's a great menu as well! By far more superior than many in the Napa Valley, Sonoma or Livermore!

REVIEWER # 4 I first…read morediscovered Caria Wines during Taste of Richmond at Riggers Loft Winery and I'm so happy to have found this place! Relevantly new, this winery was founded in 2005 and made wine at the local winery in Alameda at Rock Wall Wine Company. As we all know, Rock Wall grew business really quickly and Caria Wines had to find another home. Caria Wines was discovered by two close friends: Charlie and Dick. Dick supplied the grapes and Charlie, with his amazing wine-making skills came together to create their first bottle of the 2005 Sauvignon Blanc (my personal favorite). Now they are nestled in Richmond with beautiful views overlooking the Bay Bridge and views of San Francisco, what more could you ask for? Carica Wine focuses on Red Rhone's, however, since I am not a big red wino I decided to try there tasty Sauvignon Blanc, which is really tasty and one of their popular whites on the white wine side of things. They offer Wine tastings and tours at their new location which is at the Riggers Loft, on the edge of San Francisco Bay in Richmond's Shipyard District. They also offer a Caria Wine Club which gives you: 20 % discount for wine purchases, Free tasting flight of Carica wines at the Tasting Room, 4 shipments per year( February, May, September, and November -- each with 4 bottles selected by the Winemaker) and best of all? Free to join! I will certainly be back to try more of their tasty wines!

Kayaks, yachts, bikes, wind surfing fishing and a a slew of casual fun and funky eateries cropping up. It's been a few years since Noel warmly welcomed us "neighbors" into his establishment, prior to officially opening. Through the ups n Downs of Covid and him finding his business legs, we've happily supported this spot, meeting his entire family in the process. Well he is still sweet and humble but.... Busy! I mean as in this organic wine thing is... a big THING! I hi knew??? Apparently Noel did! He's graduated from the curious neighbors and locals featuring his Purity wines, to coop with a dedicated following of passionate organic wine makers and their entourage of fans , Friends devotees; restauranteurs, and media moguls all centered around the notion of organic wines aka a cast of thousands! Damn grapes never had it so good. Case and point Point now following his Instagram account lead by his bike riding enthusiast protege, Tyler, the Study hosted a massive event last weekend. We didn't plan to attend but were curious and anxious to see if it was a success or a bust. The event By the way featured more than 20 wine makers, there was food fun music and when we drove by as nosy neighbors, we heard the music pumping. Wow the crowd was massive! Standing room only spilling onto the drive way and garage bay. Of course the crowd was typical Bay Area, ethnically diverse hip, smart and totally having a blast! You may be wondering why we didn't go? We have a puppy who is bat shit cray cray. He loves people so much he would be all over anyone who say ah cute puppy and mayhem would be the result! Not to mention the wine spillage food tables rummaged. All this even tho Noel insists we bring Koa over so the team can meet him. Well maybe a lazy Thursday or Friday evening when things aren't quite off the chain.which frankly... seems to be an impossible goal. The study wine bar is chocked full of wine related happenings and the fan base has exploded! Hell I remember I had to help Noel create his Yelp account. For 2 years he had less than 10 folks commenting! Wow times have changed! To quote Steve Harvey, You go boy!!! The variety, creativity and passion of Noel and his fellow wine stompers, have the neighborhood buzzing... in a good way.

You can take your time to explore and read things on the self guided tour which me and my friend did. The inside of the ship is surprisingly very lively. There's a store, a dance room, and lots of the employees in their offices. It was a pleasant surprise. Apparently they have many things going on this ship like pancake days and other events. I would highly recommend keeping an eye constantly on your kids if they are crazy and like to run around a lot as this is not the place to be running around wildly. You can literally open any doors that's not locked and some leads to a dark area with pits that you can't see the bottom of. The railing on the higher levels have huge gaps that a kid can easily pass through if they rolled over and the fall (especially the last two upper deck levels) is guaranteed fatal. I focused more on exploring so didn't take much pictures. It is very likely I will be back on this ship again.
