Jules was my Sales point of contact and walked me through the pricing, what was offered, and gave me some great suggestions (1hr dockside, the rest of the time on the Bay). We got lucky with "Karl" and had the most perfect clear weather ever! I worked with Brenda as my point of contact Coordinator. She was calm, collected, responsive and very flexible. I very much enjoyed partnering with her during the planning process. And by flexible, I mean her and her team changed the party at the literal last minute with additional people. Most events have a 10 - 20% no show or drop rate. So I assumed about 42 would show, when the full 50 arrived; including a few that didn't RSVP. Brenda had suggested that I stick with a 50 final headcount, I declined, and...she was right. The team really rallied and made it work. I primarily interacted on the ship with Christian and Annika. They were *delightful*. We arrived at 4pm, informed the staff of additional people and they responded immediately with additional meals, drinks, and let the kitchen know. No hesitation, just understanding and problem solving. I absolutely added an additional tip to the event. Food and Beverage: Important to us so we picked the Lux Package: seafood tower appetizer, Prime Rib, pasta trio, salad, mixed desserts, while allowing us to bring a cake. Solid food, better than expected, pretty decent for a buffet. Open Bar, top shelf. They also let us bring several bottles of wine for dinner, with no corkage fee. Annika was our bartender and was a delight to work with! Boat: two levels- dining level one, and dancing level two. We had a disco themed wedding so the dining area was pretty perfect for the theme (dark reflective ceiling, mini lights) Upper level had great views, clean and easy to decorate to match our team. Overall boat was clean, well maintained and the staff, again, was fantastic all around. Christian was our main point of contact on the boat, and a delight! Overall, Luxe worked really well with our vendors and we didn't hear of any issues with the set up or strike down. Brenda coordinated well with them all, again flexible with last minute updates and changes. As an example, we added two vendors (dance instructors) last minute (literally three days before the reception). No problem to add them to the vendor list, added vendor meals and again. Just really worked with us.

We boarded around 6:30 after getting checked in. The bars opened at 6:30 (2nd and 3rd deck) so it seemed like a good first stop upon boarding. Buffet dinner of chicken, hand cut prime rib, sauteed vegetables, salad, lemon rice, and cheese cake started just after 7. I had 2 helpings and cleared my plate both times. Delicious. Back to the bars. Both had beer, wine and spirits. The upstairs bar had the good tequila as well as more premium spirits. Around 9:30 we were in position off the San Francisco waterfront to watch the fireworks. The open top deck was perfect for viewing. It was somewhat clear earlier I the evening but of course the fog rolled in just in time for the festivities. It was still a good show. The DJ was playing tunes all night on the 3rd deck but the dancing really started after the fireworks. The crowd was mixed but everyone was pleasant. The over zealous clean up crew decided to grab our drinks while dancing. The bar crew replaced them even when the bar was technically closed. Huge props to them. Will definitely do this again. Maybe for fleet week when the planes are flying.

Really loved the route it was on. - Lemon bars which were slightly too sweet but still delicious. - Friendly waiters who were always asking us if we wanted any drinks and clearing the plates. Cons: - No elevator so it was hard to climb up and down the stairs in a long ball gown. - The bathrooms were tiny, not poofy dress friendly. - The food is actually terrible. Think grapes with saucy chicken, I don't know who thought of this option. - The dance floor was on the 3rd floor and while people jumped, it seemed like the ceiling tiles were about to break on the 2nd floor. Overall okay experience. Should have spent more time looking at the views instead of eating the food.

Baby back ribs, grilled chicken, steak, baby greens, potato salad, corn muffins, "deluxe" fudge brownies, seasonal fruit tray, 5-star guacamole........OR SO THEY CLAIMED. Charged $45 per person for barbeque. Charged $28 per person for "premium beer and wine service" Charged $18 per person for ferry ride and park entrance. Charged over $50 an hour for 4 wait "staff" Charged 19% gratuity on the services (expected, if it were good) Charged over a 7% "management" fee. What actually happened: The normal $13.50 ferry ticket that includes park entrance fee apparently didn't turn enough profit for this company, hence the $18 charge per person. Three "staff" were at the reserved group site when we arrived. Only two were even dressed semi-professionally (the two staff grilling have chefs' coats on) No tablecloths. Paper and plastic plates/forks/cups. COSTCO platters of fruit/guacamole on the table. Scoops chips. Cardboard boxes set on the table with CORONA, HEINEKEN, COORS, SIERRA NEVADA (I'm sorry, definitely not premium). Oh, and cheap merlot and chardonnay. Kirkland bottled water on the table, still wrapped in the plastic and cardboard. Small pieces of meat, both the chicken and ribs, ribs were VERY fatty. Salad was bulk spring mix. Corn muffins were VERY VERY dry. Brownies tasted like box mix, also dry. Cookies were store-bought and tasted chemical-like. A couple hours into the event (on a 4-hour contract), they decided it was time to leave 2 bottles of wine and the few beers in a foam ice chest and cart off the rest of the boxes of alcohol that were paid for. Oh, and food that wasn't eaten? Also carted off, despite it having been on disposable platters and it being clear people were still eating. And while we were all eating, so were the servers! No replenishing. No stocking up. Just watching us eat. Wait, they did bring out the cookies. And that 4th staff person that was paid for and yet to be seen? They were the one who took away the alcohol early. In summary, this company charged over $7000 for 55 people to eat Costco food and drink cheap beer. Complete scam.
