We have made getting a boat tradition since our first amazing venture out in to the San Francisco Bay. Views are spectacular, service is top notch & their neighbor Mosley's Cafe provided drinks and a beautiful charcuterie board. What a wonderful experience! My family and I got a Bae Boat for my sisters birthday. We had all ages from 1 year old to senior age and we all had a great time! So lovely! We had an amazing time. Came here to celebrate some birthdays. There were 8 of us on the boat. The guy that guided us and went over rules, safety, and the maps was very friendly. They give you a walkie-talkie as a just in case and to let them know when you're on your way back. We reserved two hours for our boat ride and it was the perfect amount of time. Our family and friends love going out on BAE Boats- Bay Area Electric Boats. We have enjoyed our outings on the Oakland Estuary in Alameda and we just tried out their new location in beautiful Sausalito. The comfortable electric boats, in excellent condition, hold up to 10 people, are easy to drive (they only go 6 miles per hour!) they have a roof and they have window panels so that you stay warm if the weather is cooler, plus you can bring your own food and drinks. There's a Bluetooth speaker to listen to music and if you have any questions you can communicate with the staff on the walkie talkie that they provide. What an amazing experience! Booked a 2 hour cruise to celebrate my sisters birthdays, and they loved it! We had a party of 8 adults and we fit into the boat with room to spare. Bae Boats sent an informative email beforehand to share where to park and how to find their dock, super easy to follow. This experience is rain or shine. We were worried at first because we had a rainy day, but everything worked out just fine. The boat has a roof and windows so you can open them or close them as needed. Before you head out to the water, your dedicated driver is briefed with a map and walkie talkie. Once you're off you can follow the map or take your own route. Your boat can't go past ~10 mph so it's very easy to drive! We were lucky to see a sailing race out on the water. What I really love is you can bring your own food and drinks on the boat. We brought mimosas, snacks, and a charcuterie board from Mosleys Cafe (which is right next door!). And no need to bring a speaker, Bae Boats has you covered with a Bluetooth speaker! What a great way to spend a day! We had a birthday celebration for my husbands 50th with 10 of us and there was ample room to be comfortable. It was a beautiful day, we had all the windows pulled up. We brought our own charcuterie trays and coolers for cold drinks, hooked up to the Bluetooth and cruised! And fun was had by all! The boat was lovely, totally scrubbed clean, easy to drive, everything was clearly explained to us, we were giving written instructions and a map. Robyn and Logan were terrific to deal with, cheerful and helpful from my first contact with Logan to the day of our cruise. They have a few little snack options in the shop, but definitely bring your own food/snacks and drinks, being able to do that really made our trip perfect. Highly recommend and better than I expected! We rented a boat for my mom's birthday and it was such a great experience! We started at 11am so the sun hasn't come out yet. I was bundled up and brought plenty of jackets, but it wasn't even necessary because the windows close. And it's shaded so it's perfect for any weather. The boat we choose fits up to 10 people. I am always a little skeptical when I hear max limits, i was worried it was going to be cramped but the boat is large enough that its not a problem. What a fantastic experience! We rented the Duffy suncruiser for a two hour ride around the estuary for my birthday and had a blast!! It was a gorgeous day and we had so much fun taking in the sights, listening to music, and spending time on the water. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly every step of the way. Having the cover and sides on the boat was wonderful as we didn't ever feel like we were too warm or cold and could zip up or down the sides for air flow. No one got sun burnt! We had ten people in our group and everyone for very comfortably. It was easy to hook up to the Bluetooth speaker and play music, they gave us clear instructions and a map of the area, and there was a table and trash can provided for us. My friend surprised me with contacting the company for the balloon decoration which made for so many fun pictures and a very nice party vibe. The cafe next door also has coffee, wines and beers, and food - and if you order ahead you can get one of these GORGEOUS cheeseboards for your trip too!
