It would have been nicer if we got to stay above deck and experience fresh air. The ship was also excellent to walk through but would have liked to see more details provided. Seems like the only way to get more detailed information is with a tour but with younger kids they're not allowed to follow the tours. My kids enjoyed the experience and it was nice to discover touristy activities close to home that's affordable.

This ship was used as a cargo ship during WWII, Vietnam and Korean Wars. It was built in Richmond,…read moreCA and is now located at the same shipyard where it was built. There are guided (takes you to the engine room) and self-guided tours; both are educational. The ship is managed by the Richmond Museum of History and the loving caretakers are volunteers. There is a small gift shop and theatre. Their existence is based on donations, pancake breakfasts, movie/hall rentals, and gift shop. The ship is not suited to persons with limited mobility. You have to walk up this steep, shaky steel ladder to get on board. Once on board, you have to walk up narrow stairs to go up and down floors. The engine room's ladder to go down was very steep. You couldn't see the rung of the next step. If you have a phobia, this is not for you. Just avoid the engine room. Aside from that, the ship was interesting and if you are a WWII history buff, this ship is worth seeing.

We all started at the Tiburon RR Mueum where we got a nice overview of the areas history. Who knew this was all a giant Railroad yard at one time? Tried a variety of great foods and wine along the way. They were prepared especially for us by the chefs at each restaurant. Had some delicious deviled eggs and hush puppies with honey butter at the tavern. It was served with a good glass of Chardonnay though I don't recall the name. At Sams had a delicious shrimp dish with crunchy toast. It was paired with a JCB Rose from Province that Renee brought She also gave us some lavender cheese which was a perfect complement to the wine. Went next door to Luma Blue and were served eggplant parmigiana paired with a bold Tuscan Red. Strolled to the cafe owned by the same family and got coffee with cannoli. To top it off we had Meyers port from Anderson Valley with a crunchy cookie (also from the cafe) at the top of Tiburon. It was a great unrushed tour through some of Tiburon's finest restaurants for delicious food and wine pairings. Great way to enjoy the town or to host out of town guests.

The weather was wonderful and we really enjoyed our time with Viv as she navigated us from venue to venue. The food and wine selections were tasty and Viv's knowledge of Tiburon and surrounding areas made for fun conversation throughout. I would recommend this as a team activity, or would also love to try this with a small group of friends!

They are prepared w/ a Luxury black shuttle van. Paul (our driver) was so informative and so knowledgeable about the Sonoma and Napa History. I appreciate how they already had an itinerary planned out for the day. We visited 4 wineries which one had a wonderful farm to table lunch waiting for us (which this was included in ticket price) Each winery visited made us feel at home/great stories/great people and great wine waiting for us upon arrival! Wine tasting fees are addl around $35-40 per person. Our last winery visited Paul helped us to get TSA approved shipping boxes which wine got home safely! Wish we could've stayed longer at Buena Vista and Sangiacomo. Would highly recommend wine trolley/bus tour and felt ticket price was reasonable for having great service/knowledgeable driver/lunch for an all day tour.

We were all laughing and have such a great time together! Our guide Paul was hilarious and had lots of great knowledge of the area. Everyone is small business owned at the places we stopped at and also felt very natural and warm. The interactions with everyone was fun and I definitely got some wine knowledge too! We stoped at four places. One beautiful vineyar with spectacular views, a food terrace and wine tasting area, a winery and makery, and another wine tasting bar. Would definitely do this again and highly recommend!
