In the morning they keep the shuttles in the aisle way to long. After a few minutes the shuttles should take off. Sitting 15 min on before you leave just to get 6 cars is absolutely ridiculous. In the afternoon they do have a great return. Shuttles do arrive every few minutes. They need to work on mornings especially when there are plenty of shuttles waiting in line! read more

Wow what a hidden gem! I honestly would have never known this place was here or that it could be so affordable to park overnight when driving yourself to the airport! I reserved online and paid $10 a day. I flew out on a Thursday late and was to return on Sunday even later. My flight was canceled and they honored the online rate! This place is pretty secure in my opinion you can't just drive out of there without stopping at the window and the security arm being raised. I feel comfortable enough to use them with great frequency now! read more

Only place I park at DTW. Love the ease of the location and the staff is wonderful. Neaman is the best shuttle driver and will even grab my bag from my car and load it in. Friendly and reliable. Sadly, after I was ripped off by Qwik Park, I contacted the other remote parking lots for the Detroit airport, and all of them are now using the online reservation system that allows them to charge you extra if your flight is delayed--or even if their own shuttles are delayed. This is a sad development for businesses that have provided straightforward, honest service in the past. So, heads up, everyone. When you are asked to enter your departure time from the lot, don't waste time trying to figure whether to choose an hour after your plane is due in or 90 minutes or whatever. Choose the latest possible time on the day you're due back. That way, unless your flight is cancelled and you can't return until the next day, you won't be subject to "late" charges. read more

Now that we've parked at Qwik Park a few times, I won't park anywhere in the airport. It's so quick and painless, and with AAA membership, you get a dollar off each day. You simply pull in, the front attendant will tell you which aisle to park in, and the shuttle will come right to your spot, and pick up your luggage and off you go! Once you come back, they take you right to your car, and unload your luggage, and off you go again! So quick, and too easy! Looove it! :) Every person that we've come into contact with has been friendly, accommodating, efficient, and best of all, they get you to the airport QWIK!!!! :) It helps to bring a few small bills to tip the shuttle drivers (they are all wonderful and appreciate it deeply). read more

My husband is a pilot, so he gets to park at the airport for free. I often sucker him into carting me back and forth when I travel without him, but sometimes I just have to park and pay. Since 2008, Qwik Park has been my go-to lot. The prices are reasonable (although they hiked up the daily/weekly rate again this summer). However, if you check in on the Yelp app, there is usually a coupon for a few dollars off per day. The thing I like most is that their shuttles pick up from the airport frequently. I usually don't have to wait more than 5 minutes...ever. Unfortunately, depending on when you arrive at the lot, you might have to wait 10-15 minutes to be taken from your car to the airport. This is especially frustrating on stormy winter days, so just pop your trunk so they know where you're at, and stay in your warm car. read more

I've used Qwik Park about 5 or 6 times. They are always fast, courteous, and trouble free. Most recently in October as I was flying one way for a wedding, returning via car. I called ahead to ask how they can accommodate such a situation. The helpful attendant advised me to just approach the drive up window on foot when I return. I was a little scarred I may be misinformed and have an issue upon return, but I went with it. I got dropped off out front, approached, and the lady asked me to step to the back of the building and she would have a van pull around. Not 2 minutes later a shuttle came, swooped me up, and I was on my way to my car. Successs!!! read more

I've used Qwik Park more than 10 times and I've always been happy with their service. Most of the time when I pull in there is already a shuttle waiting for me to park so I can hop right on and head to the airport. When I do have to wait for a shuttle, it is never more than 5 minutes. When I arrive back at the airport after a trip, I never have to call them because there is always a shuttle waiting in ground transportation. Qwik Park is efficient, friendly and a great value because I always find coupons online. read more

Sadly, Qwik Park is now charging a late fee (fine) if their shuttle is late picking you up or if your flight is delayed. They are easy, fast and have great drivers, but their online system makes you select a pick up time that may not reflect when you actually arrive (you may be super early or your flight might be delayed) or in my case it makes you pick a time that the they don't have a shuttle available to pick you up. If this happens they charge you a late fine. Parking is $10 a day with the coupons you can get online, this is perhaps the only good thing about the deal. read more

Never had any issues with Quick Park. Works great for us when heading to Detroit Metro Airport. As soon as you pull up you get a ticket and a bus follows you to your parking spot, picks you up, and drives you over to airport. The parking lot is enormous and If there are a bunch of people arriving to quick park at the same time they will stop to pick them up too but its very quick. I believe the cost of $10 a day but we always go online and get it for $8 a day or cheaper with coupons. (you can also "check in" there and get a discount) The parking lot is lighted and guarded and seems very secure. They have multiple buses running so never a wait to get to the airport or back to the lot. Quick Park Lot is about 1.5 miles from the airport itself. Another nice thing is you get picked up right at your car and dropped off near the entry. Less dragging your bags around the parking structure. They do accept tips. read more

I just got home from a brutal flight, and though I am tired, I am taking the time to write a review (which I never do) about my terrible experience. I am a 50 y/o African American woman, and I am CERTAIN that I just had one of the most blatantly racist encounters I can remember. I have the driver...Joseph S...to "thank" for this experience. When he pulled up, there were 4-5 Caucasian passengers exiting the shuttle. He was very friendly and personable as he helped ALL of them with their luggage. In fact, when one gentleman reached for his luggage, Joseph rather vehemently insisted that he allow him to get it. He wished them all safe travels. Sadly, my experience was the total opposite. When he saw me getting on...with luggage...his expression soured. He got back on the shuttle, and walked to the rear of the vehicle, where he waited with his back turned while I boarded. I got on, placed my own bag on the rack, and had to get his attention to take my ticket...which he snatched from my hand. I was the only passenger on the shuttle, which he drove like a bat outta Hell. He did not bother to turn on any heat, despite the 38 degree temperature at 5:30am in Detroit, MI. Lastly, when he got to my vehicle, he opened the door, again made no effort to assist me...a lady...with my luggage, said nothing as I exited the vehicle, and barely waited for me to get all the way off before he pulled away. Needless to say, I did not give Joseph a tip. Lol. This is unfortunate, as I stopped using a nearby competitor for similar reasons. I guess I will now have to use yet another service, as I will NEVER use Qwik Park again. In fact, I will make a concerted effort to discourage my friends, family, co-workers and ANYONE else that will listen against patronizing Qwik Park. It's too bad, as I have previously had very favorable experiences, many times commenting how friendly Q.P. driver's were...until now, that is. When I'm traveling for work, I park at the main airport structure. When I have to pay, I come here. You can print or bring up the $8.00 a day coupon on your phone and either will work. They do a nice job with such a large lot. Drivers are friendly and the shuttles are always running. I was shocked to see my car covered in snow after getting back from Las Vegas, and the bus driver jumped out and brushed off my car. The only complaint I have is that I'd like to see more people give a $1 or $2 to the driver as it seem like a boring tedious job at time. I just can't quit Qwik Park. I have no love for them and they do absolutely nothing to distinguish themselves from the other remote parking places. They are typically more concerned about filling up their buses than getting you in a timely manner and their buses provide a nauseating trip. They also rely on coupon gimmicks. If you are in the North Terminal, pay the extra $2 and park at the Big Blue Garage. Otherwise, I wish I could tell you a better option. Unfortunately, all these parking place strive on mediocrity. I recently used Qwik Park and was very pleased with their services. I left my car there for about 1.5 weeks and the total was about $80 (with my AAA discount). They also have a coupon available online, but I forgot to print it. The drivers were courteous and prompt. I waited less than a minute in the parking lot and about 5 minutes at DTW. Before the pandemic, this was my favorite off-site parking at DTW. Always prompt, courteous, and helpful. We started traveling again recently, and had a very unpleasant shock: we arrived at 12:30 am, and we had to wait a long time for the shuttle. Maybe that's okay, but what's not okay is that the driver was rude and abusive when he arrived. Telling my wife "sit down and shut up or get off of my bus" is not acceptable. This was followed by a rant about passengers. He also was reluctant or unwilling to help us with our luggage. I have been reading about problems employers are having rehiring good workers after the lockdown. I assume this is an example. I hope Qwik Park straightens out. I visited this lot yesterday, assigned to the K section. It was literally a sheet of ice. One lady on my route slipped and actually had to file an incident report. The driver even admitted that these reports of hazardous eyes have been reported and nothing is been done. (I actually moved my car because I got out in my space and it was a sheet of ice as well). The unacceptable measure to forgo salt- throwing caution to the wind to save money on your own behalf indicates putting your bottom line before customers is more important. read more

Qwik Park is great - I have been using them for years. I travel frequently for work and regardless of the time of day I am leaving or returning, the service is always very good. I typically use a coupon (from the mail or printed from the Qwik Park site) to get the best rate and one day free. For longer trips it does get pricey at $10 a day, but it is often still more convenient than trying to arrange drop off and pick up at the airport. When you pull up the attendant will ask which airline you are traveling and direct you to the row where the shuttle for the appropriate terminal is picking up people. Typically the shuttle is at your car within 1 or 2 minutes. When you return from your trip you go to the area where the shuttle dropped you off and most times there is a shuttle there already. If there is not, you are suppose to wait 10 minutes before calling, but if it is late at night or there is little traffic you should call right away. One other tip - double check the location the driver writes on your stub when they pick you up at your car. It sometimes helps to note whether you are parked on the south side (toward to row "A") or north side (toward row "Z") on your ticket, too. Sometimes they have already written out tickets and they may have you in D13 when you are closer to D14 or something. read more

After more than ten years of doing business they have finally lost me. Parked two days after a major snowstorm. The temperate was -1F and the individual parking spaces were not plowed. I finally found an open area and jammed my car into the deep snow. The shuttle to the terminal had no heat. I was on it for only a short trip, but the poor driver was bundled like an Eskimo. Upon arrival a shift in the weather, about 38F and heavy rain. Arrived at DTW late about 1:00AM and waited for the shuttle in the cold for about 20 minutes. Had to call them for a ride. This is not the first time this has happened and it's very annoying. While waiting for the Qwik Park shuttle there were several other rides from all the competing parking companies driving by. At my space there was still all the deep snow, but in the rain it was saturated and like slush. With soaking wet feet drove home about an hour away. I am now ready to try another service. read more

I have been using these types of parking lots at the airport for years - never have I been so infuriated than I was with this experience. Our trip started on a very cold morning - we got our direction on where to park - and waited to get on the bus, only to have the door shut in our face, no explanation - just took off! We had no idea when or if someone was coming. We tired flagging several other drivers down to no avail. Even picking up people that came in after us! Finally after 15 min standing in the freezing 10 degree weather we get picked up. Qwik park please remember - travelers are dressed to travel, not to stand in the cold for extended periods of time!!! Once finally in the airport I was ready to just forget he whole thing, and Chalk it up to a bad morning - stuff happens - I get it. We return, after a long trip - gather all of our belongings and head to the ground transport. We waited, again in the cold, watching all of your competitors drive by one after another. One of your competitors had 8 vehicles in and out while we were standing there. Then, of course when one does finally show up, there is no room for all the people who were waiting.....so again, we wait, in the cold, while the line continues to increase - dressed to travel. We finally get to our car - and can you believe that I have a completely flat tire!! Now I am not suggesting that this is anyone's at qwik park fault - however your lack helpfulness, care and compassion in helping us to solve this problem was shocking!! You have a huge lot, full of cars - I am quite certain this is not the first time this has happened. We called the front desk to see if there was a portable air pump - the answer was no , apparently they had one up front, but the tire was completely flat and could not be drove on.We had to ask the question 3 times if we could call a tow truck to come back to help - the customer service rep just kept saying they don't fix tires..... Yeah we got that the first time! That's is not what was being asked! Finally I happened to find a small pump I actually had in my car - it did work enough at least to get us to the front of the lot. We talk to the guy about the air pump that was mentioned in the call only to be basically told it was a lot of work to get it out. We ended up going to the speedway down the road. All of this while dressed to travel Qwik park - you are in a service industry - please understand who your customers are and anticipate their needs. Travelers are dealing with lots of stressors trying to get from point a to point b. don't leave them with lasting negative impressions. Don't leave us standing in the freezing cold, while we are trying to get excited about embarking on our journeys. Be helpful when customers are faced with the unexpected. Now instead of enjoying being home, and thinking back on my trip - all I can do is sit here and fume with this last impression - and the only outlet I have is to write a terrible review in hopes that someone there will listen. read more

There are a number of parking options around the Detroit airport, but I find that Qwik Park has served me the best and is only a 4-5 minute drive to the airport. If you have never gone or used these services before, the concept is simple. You go to their location, park your car, a bus comes and picks you up and gives you a ticket with your parking location on. When you return you hand your ticket to the bus driver and they drop you off at your car. The bus drivers are always helpful. They are willing to help you out by picking up your bags from your car and placing them on the racks inside the bus; the reciprocal service is given when you get to your car. Qwik Park is very well lit. I have landed both at night and during the day, and there always seems to be some employee(s) driving around the lot. The parking spots are normal size, so you don't have to worry any more than you would normally about someone dinging your car. Overall, I think this place is great! The only thing I would change is the speed at which the people are bill you at the exit work. Maybe it is just my luck, but for the past few times when I have gone to pay I just sit in my car while the person inside the booth finishes texting/playing Angry Birds/e-mailing/doing anything but helping me pay so I can get on with my life. HINT: If you go to their website you can print out a coupon for eight dollars a day which is a couple blocks off their normal daily rate. read more

I must say that Qwik Park takes customer experience seriously as I received a message back thru Yelp and a personal phone call so they could understand the situation. We discussed what happened and they took great interest in those of us who were frustrated. In the end I believe a recent change by Metro Airport concerning the number of buses allowed in the staging area had some impact on the situation but Qwik Park acknowledged they need to address the dispatch of buses better. Based on this discussion I will give them another chance. Then if they continue to be the Qwik Park I always knew I will write a new review. read more

We came in about 5:30 January 28th, upon arriving the lady (black shirt glasses and hair in a bun) had the window shut THREW the window we could hear the man (another worker) screaming at her he called her the B word told her to F off she told him to go home we heard him again told her to F off.....she opened the window and apologized (the man was still yelling at her in the back but a nice line had built up by now) my husband was concerned as the man in the back kept moving forward and yelling at her. he asked if she needed help. She said she was ok and again apologized to us! When we got on the shuttle over the radio we heard (I assume was same man) I told you I'm not going home and something else but we couldn't make out the rest.I'm wondering if this is the way employees are allowed to speak ?what kind of service should be looking forward too? I made a reservation for my daughter at Qwik Park online, last night. After I spoke to my daughter, she told me she didn't need it as she was being dropped off. I went online and clicked on the link to view, change or cancel my reservation. I clicked cancel, a pop up window asked me if I was sure, I clicked yes and then I got an error screen. So I called at around 10:30pm about 30 mins after I made the reservation and told them I wanted to cancel. I was told I'd have to call back today. This morning I tried to cancel online, again same result. So I called. 888-844-7275. The person that answered told me that to cancel, I must wait until my trip is over and then call and ask for a refund. WHAT? I said that was absurd. Their cancellation policy on the reservation confirmation is as follows. Cancellation Policy: Reservations must be canceled 24 hours in advance to avoid complete forfeiture of funds. By making a prepaid reservation, constitutes acknowledgement that you have read the "Prepaid Cancellation" Policy Terms and Conditions and that you agree to follow and be bound by them. So telling me to call after I didn't park there and ask for my money back makes no sense. Unless, they are just trying to keep my money and when I call after the fact, they tell me I had to cancel 24 hours in ADVANCE. A supervisor told me to call a different number and speak to Melanie. She handles the refunds. So I called the number and got the VM for the VP (her name was not Melanie) of a number of parking operations including Qwik Park. I left a message. Not being satisfied, I called back again this afternoon. I spoke to Dora, who told me again to call after my trip is over and ask for my money back. Again, I said nope, then I would be in violation of their policy and forfeit my $91. She put me on hold, spoke to a supervisor, Brian, and she told me he said there's no way to cancel my reservation prior to my trip and to call after my trip and ask for the refund. I asked to speak to Brian, I was told he didn't want to speak to me and wanted Dora to handle it. I asked to speak to a different supervisor and was told Tom (head supervisor) wasn't there. I then said I would dispute the charge on my card. She told me to do whatever I needed to do. So, I went online again. This time, I looked up my reservation from their website as opposed to the link on my confirmation. From there, I saw where I could cancel. I clicked that button, and VOILA, reservation CANCELLED. I guess you CAN cancel your reservation after all. Seems like the Qwik Park Management is just out to mislead and trick their customers out of their money. Shame on you guys. But you don't have my money!!! BTW, I called back and got Dora again. I explained that what her supervisor told her was just a bunch of BS. Then I explained how to cancel so she could actually HELP someone who wanted to cancel in the future. I will NEVER use Qwik Park again. Find a different place to park. read more
