My first Quiznos experience was in Rochester, MN. It had recently opened and a friend of mine took me there for a toasted sub. It was the greatest thing since, er, sliced bread. I became a fan. At that point, few sub chains toasted their bread. Scrubway (Jennifer P. needs to copyright it, as I use it all the time now) didn't do it. Neither did Mr Sub. When I moved back to the GTA, there were a few Quiznos stores nearby. One was where my local Scrubway is, roughly five minutes away. The other one was closer to my workplace at the time, at McCowan and Sheppard Avenue East in Scarborough. Both are long gone. Frankly, the only Quiznos that I dropped by recently was on Bay Street, a few blocks away from Scotiabank Arena. I'd go there for a quick bite before a concert. The other evening, I was driving from Canadian Tire to Song Tea along Woodbine Avenue. My head turned when I saw the Quiznos sign to my left. Where have I been and why hadn't I ever noticed this sign? I kept thinking about it. I decided to fetch dinner here last Saturday. After getting my bubble tea, I drove over to this eatery. This Quiznos is in a plaza, a couple of doors down from Mi Ne Sushi, a place that I frequented perhaps eight years ago or so. I found a parking spot halfway down the row of parked cars and backed into it. I walked in and got a woman who said hi. She was busy preparing an order. I saw her fill a container with soup. You can dine in. However, tables and seating are limited. Once she was finished with that order, she focused solely on me. My usual subs are the black angus steak and mesquite chicken. I deviated from both when I saw the beef and swiss melt. I got a foot-long on rosemary parmesan bread. She asked me whether I was good with mushrooms. Yes, said the mushroom freak. Oh, how I have missed being at a Quiznos. I like seeing my sandwich go through the toasting conveyor and come out looking all yummy. I paid with a credit card. This place only accepts credit and debit cards. She wrapped up my sub and handed it over in a bag. I thanked her and left happy with sub in hand. My car smelled so good as I drove home. The only reason I didn't devour my sub was because it was in the backseat and I couldn't reach it while driving. It's a good strategy if you don't have any willpower. I had my sub when I got home. I devoured the whole thing. I normally do an 8" sub, but I was hungry. I'm so glad I went big. The sub looked narrower than I recall. Then again, I have had Jersey Mike's Subs these days that they look gigantic compared to any sub out there. I loved the beef and swiss melt. The beef was tender, juicy, and yummy. The swiss cheese was the perfect amount and was melty delicious. The mushrooms were yummy although this mushroom fanatic would have enjoyed more of them. The bread was excellent toasted. Yum all around! I'm so glad that I found this Quiznos. I was the only customer in the store and I suspect that it does quiet business with all restaurants around it. I'd definitely come back here to get my toasted sub fix. (83) read more

I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone, for several reasons one of them they are rude they don't have customer service at all second they mixed your order I came a couple of times they do the same plus they arguing to much with the customer. Although I tipped them but the attitude is still the same. This is my last day that I'm gonna visit this restaurant enough is enough. read more

This place sucks. Never coming to a Quiznos again. Automatically the place depressed me a lot with. There was barely any light, the place was disgusting and my server looked like they got beat by the manager. The bread was stale, the food was expired, the soda was warm and there was hair in my food. I think I saw mold on the food too. For your own good, never eat at Quiznos again. read more

Reason for Visit: Fido giving out free subs so I got one to try. Menu: To be honest, I really don't see what is so special about Quiznos vs like Subway or Mr.Sub. Prices are more expensive and subs taste the same. The only reason I came was because Fido giving out a free sub so I decided to try. I got their Classic sub which was average. Service: They are pretty short staff. Looks like they have 1 person manning entire store. Atmosphere: I guess benefit is not much traffic so you will always have a table. I see some students studying here as well. Overall: Average. I will stick with Subway just because cheaper and more convenient (more locations). read more

Franchise by Chinese people. How much of a coincidence is that!? I know my race too well I think. Yes they r busy becuz it's a Quiznos only. My sandwich is not even warm after it came out from the toaster. Ordered a mesquite chicken, I can count how many pieces becuz it's so little. Alot of condiments, condiments r cheap oh pls. Is it me or is it just this Quiznos? I've been to other which I have experienced much better. I was jus craving for a sub and stumbled upon this place. Dedicated to higher quality? This place is alright. The place itself is small and crowded with tables and chairs. During lunch time it's hectic as people want to sit down and eat and there's literally no space at all. I got the 6inch veggie guac and the lady who made my sandwich was SUPER SWEET! She did everything that I asked for on my sub and was kind! The sub tasted good as well! I probably won't be back to a Quiznos. Mr sub and subway are a lot better. In every aspect. Went to go get a sub today and there was about 4 employees and 0 working other than one male employee who looked like the owner. The other 3 female employees were walking around in the back and behind the counter. There was one person ordering when I got in. The male employee was serving him. I waited as he finished. I order the sub, the male employee takes the order then one of the female workers starts making it. She didn't listen to the order since the guy took it and kept asking me over and over what I wanted. Then she put the wrong toppings on the sub and the male employee grabbed it and took it off after The female employee started toasting it without asking. I didn't want it toasted and luckily the male employee took it off in time so it didn't roast. I paid and left shortly. Got home to eat and of course the wrong toppings are there and not plentiful either. After removing all the wrong toppings it practically had almost nothing on the sub other than the meat and cheese. Waste of time and money, I should have went to mr sub down the road. As for the actual sub there was less meat ham subway and they forgot half the toppings I asked for. Green peppers, onion, jalepenos, cucumber, pickles They just put lettuce, tomato and banana peppers. Whoever is working this shift (6/3/2017 @ 2:00p) is the best server I've ever met! I am a pretty shy person when it comes to ordering sandwiches in this style, but this server was so friendly. I didn't feel at all intimidated. She made me feel like I was a friend or family member coming to visit - extremely good natured and helpful. No matter how dumb my questions were, she made me feel well supported and as if all my questions were legit to ask! It's weird that I had such a great experience at a fast food sandwich shop, I know! Worst sandwich experience ever!!! Ordered multiple items, all of which were incredibly DRY and totally overcooked!!!! This location has got to be the worst Quiznos - DO NOT go here!! Have tried to order different items on other occasions, and it is always a disappointment. Will not be returning. If i could give negative stars, I would. I've been here a few times when I feel like something different from subway (I don't bother with Mr Sub, their meat is too fatty) but I digress. Most of the time it is great but the last time I was there, they burnt my sub and didn't seem to care. It was quite obviously burnt but they gave it to me anyway without a second thought. Not good. But that was one bad encounter over several good ones that I have had there. read more

Can't really see toppings available. Operator will actually suggest the 3 toppings he thinks you want, and then you have to correct him. He added a sauce that I did not like and it kind of ruined the meal. Seems like he just wants to serve you as quickly as possible. read more
