What an absolutely STELLAR experience I had at Quinn's on the Beach! Cindy was my server and she was extremely pleasant and helpful with advice on what to order. I sat right in front of the water, but it was already dark outside. The ambiance was so peaceful. Quinn's also had fire lamps lit as the temperature was in the 60s and a little chilly for us Floridians! The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating. I started with the Pear and Walnut salad and it was phenomenal. I cleaned the plate, that's how great it was! The contents consisted of mixed greens, sliced pears, walnuts, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, shredded carrots, red onions, Parmesan cheese and blueberry vinaigrette. All of the flavors blended so well together and it tasted so incredibly fresh. I am a meat lover. So of course for my main course, I ordered braised short rib and it was MOUTHWATERING! It was so well cooked and falling apart in my mouth. It came on a bed of garlic roasted mashed potatoes, 2 onion rings, broccolini, along with a mustard pan jus. Absolutely 10/10 experience!! Worst experience of our trip to Marco, Quinns is very underwhelming across the board. We were sat at the beach, saw the fire dancer show and our server initially was great. After that, we didn't see said server again, our child's meal was delayed (a grilled cheese) and the food we got, pedestrian at best. The red snapper was average. We asked 2 separate managers/hosts for assistance, and it took my wife going to the bar after 40 minutes of being ignored to get a check so we could leave with our 2-year-old. read more

The only real highlight of Quinn's is the beautiful setting and the opportunity to enjoy the sunset. Unfortunately, the experience beyond that was disappointing. Service was slow and largely unresponsive. While our waiter was genuinely pleasant, the pace of service was extremely sluggish. The short ribs were dry--thankfully, the manager removed them from the bill. The pear and walnut salad was oddly constructed: the red onion completely overpowered the dish, and it contained only one small pear with a few broken walnut pieces. The grouper was acceptable but underwhelming for the price point. Overall, this fell well below expectations for a Marriott property, which should--and can--do much better. Convenient little beach bar/restaurant right within the JW Marriott property. The prices are high, little bit of Marco Island mixed with the JW pricing. You'll have a high tab. They have redone the menu since we've been here last year and added (and sadly removed) some items (RIP to the Cubano). I highly recommend the corn/fish chowder and the tropical bowl salad with chicken. The chowder comes in a big bowl so you get your moneys worth and it tastes delicious, Smokey, and has great seafood content. The tropical bowl comes with a sun dried tomato vinaigrette that rocks. Lots of good fresh ingredients in that bowl. ~$130 for lunch. Again, this spot is merely a convenience play. read more

I came here for a delightful dinner with my girlfriend at sunset, to which we both had healthy grains bowls. I had a Tropical power bowl with blackened chicken and she got a Harvest bowl with blackened grouper. The flavors were spot on and the laid back beach vibes were solid with our waiter Charlie doing an awesome job at going the extra mile. Totally worth the dining experience and the quantity for price was very filling. Couldn't ask for a better sunset date spot. Visited Quinn's while staying at the JW Marriott and the staff was very lovely. Our server was very personable and attentive. The restaurant was beautifully decorated with a lively big bar right in the middle. The temperature inside the restaurant was comfortable to sit in for guests who were wearing bathing suits or business suits. Plenty of fans and enough circulation for it to not feel stuffy on a hot summer day. We had a hard time choosing what to eat from the menu because everything sounded delicious. As ceviche lovers that was our first choice but I overall it was our least favorite dish. They should call it shrimp salad instead of ceviche as it was lacking in citrus and flavor. The server suggested tacos as they were popular and they were fresh and tasty but also lacking in flavor. Overall the meal just needed seasoning. The menu items sounded delicious but they fell a little flat. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here again but it was a decent meal if you add your own salt and pepper to the dishes. read more

We spent five days at the Marriott Marco Island and had the opportunity to visit the restaurant a couple of times. Very beachy feel with tables and bar stools. We popped in to watch SNF at the bar and grab a snack or two. Unfortunately, the cheddar biscuits were not available. So we started with a pina colada and a spicy watermelon margarita. My son enjoyed his colada, but my margarita was not spicy, had little watermelon, and used a sad tequila. For dinner, he tried the strip loin with mashed potatoes. He said it was cooked right but not seasoned. I had the hamburger ... it was cooked as ordered. The bun was really good. The fries were thick, coated with something, and then deep fried. Located at the JW Marriott, this establishment has the best vibe to offer on the property. With tables adjacent to the sand and a clear line of sight to the Gulf, the atmosphere was amazing! Especially if you are there to capture a sunset. And of course, the service was top notch, as you would expect. Unfortunately, the food fell a bit short. And trust me, my wife and I sampled the cuisine several times as it was SO easy to just take in the vibe at the end of the day. I've been coming here for over 10 years, and her attitude towards me and the other servers near me and my family, was so rude and unprofessional. I was listening to her gossip poorly about us in Spanish to one of the other servers, which was completely uncalled for. However John from Quinn's had excellent customer service and behavior. We got seated outside by a server and were never helped so we went to the bar seating. The people working at the bar were very good about making sure we had everything we needed. The Strawberry Daiquiri was $18 and was very good. The fries were hot and fresh. The charred corn wasn't my favorite but maybe just not my style. They had a fire dancer performing at 8pm for the sunset performance which was a nice touch. The beach setting was perfect and the sand was soft. We eat here every time we are in Marco. It's at the JW Marriott. Quick and easy dining with great cocktails and food options that are better than your basic bar. In the evenings they have a fire guy that comes to the beach area and it's free to watch. (At sunset). They had stopped doing it due to Covid so I am not sure if it's back up or not. I was a guest at Marriott Vacations but walked over to JW because the food is much better, so much so I came here twice just to eat. I enjoyed Mahi Tacos with Pina Coladas, additionally I had the Jerk Chicken Wings, which were so so (not really what I would call jerk). The kids menu is decent, kids enjoyed burgers and tenders. First day, a rain storm came in quick and we had to race inside, which was blasting with AC; service was attentive and quick. Second visit, was evening, the place was packed and seating took a while, ironically we were seated at the same table we had the first day. We are staying for a convention and had one of the worst meals we've ever had. My husband ordered the Red Snapper and it was rubbery to cut, chewy and had a strange flavor. He ate it anyway. I ordered the tuna tartare and it tasted so fishy & strong that I sent it back after 1 bite (my husband tried a smash but and aged there was something wrong with it) and I love tuna, so it was very disappointing. The broccolini tasted like old oil and we only took a couple bites. The only person who enjoyed their meal was my daughter with her chicken tenders & fries. I felt bad for the waiter because it wasn't his fault, but we saw other tables disappointed with their food, too. When you still end up spending $90 for a horrible meal, it really deserves a negative review. read more

First off, when we were waiting to be seated, another party of 2 came in after us and started looking at the menu. When the waitress finally came over she tried seating them first until they were like uh actually those two were here before us. I think it probably was because we look young. The bill after too and tax was about $100 for my fiancee and I. When we checked out they told us they would send us our bill for the weekend via email. We were traveling so didn't see it for a couple days after. When we saw it, it was almost over $100 what we had spend over the weekend. For a hotel pool restaurant I was pleasantly surprised with the food at Quinn's. Though prices are a bit high (and to be expected at a hotel restaurant) the portions were large! It's tough to eat too much at once when it's so hot out, so my hubs and I ended up sharing a few of our orders and this still ended up being more than enough food. We visited a few times and tried the crab cobb salad, fish tacos and chicken tenders and fries. The crab cobb salad was so refreshing and totally stole the show. It came in a huge bowl with lots of crab meat and shrimp, bacon, blue cheese and egg. The fish tacos came with three overstuffed tacos and the fish was very fresh. Seafood is definitely the move here, and it seemed as if almost everyone was ordering fish tacos. Frozen bevvies were great too! I'm on that mocktail train, and the virgin daiquiris and pina coladas definitely hit the spot. But then again, when don't they? Florida is HOT. My only gripe is that if you order poolside it is very hard to get service. Given the crowd at the hotel they could certainly stand to put a few more people on staff! I also wish that the menu had some more light and fresh options for the pool -- smoothies, acai bowls and more salads would've been amazing. Extremely Disappointing Experience - Do Not Host Your Event at Quinn's at JW Marriott Marco Island** I am compelled to share my extremely disappointing experience hosting my daughter's wedding reception at Quinn's on the Beach, located at the JW Marriott Marco Island. What should have been a joyful and memorable evening was marred by disorganized service, poor management, and a complete failure to deliver on contracted agreements. From the very beginning of the event, the service was unacceptable. Appetizers were barely circulated, and guests were told that certain selections--such as the fried calamari--had run out early in the evening. Shockingly, the waitstaff focused their attention on a single guest table while completely neglecting the bride's table and her immediate family, despite the fact that we--her parents--were hosting and funding the event. There was a nearly one-hour delay between appetizers and entrées, and the food that was eventually served did not match the custom menu we had selected and paid for. Even worse, I paid extra per guest for premium upgrades that were not provided. These were not minor oversights--they were significant contractual breaches. One of the most distressing issues was the complete disregard for the dietary needs of my young grandson, who has multiple food allergies. I had worked closely with the staff in advance to ensure he would receive a safe and inclusive meal, including a special dessert. Despite this being clearly outlined in our agreement, they failed to provide it. This kind of negligence is unacceptable and potentially dangerous. When I brought my concerns to the chef, he informed me that under normal protocol, the restaurant stops accepting regular diners during private events like ours in order to focus solely on the wedding. However, he stated that the manager had disregarded this and continued taking in additional restaurant guests, severely compromising our service. The event was a complete letdown and an embarrassment in front of our family and friends. The incompetence and lack of accountability displayed by the management at Quinn's was appalling. I will be submitting a formal complaint to Marriott Corporate and strongly advise anyone considering Quinn's for a private event to look elsewhere. **Do not plan your wedding or any important occasion at Quinn's at JW Marriott Marco Island.** They do not honor their commitments, and the lack of professionalism could ruin your special event. read more

Not sure about the hype for this restaurant. Everything is overpriced and though the view of the beach is nice your view is obstructed by beach umbrellas and chairs. The restaurant is located at the beach and one of the pools at the JW Marriott hotel. It is a beautiful hotel with a lot of amenities but that does not warrant the higher prices for the limited menu items or their drinks. My wife had the Pear and Walnut salad and I had the blackened Mahi tacos.  My wife said the salad was delicious ($12.00) but my Mahi tacos (3) were very dry even though they included an aioli sauce and they definitely were not worth $25.00.  Additional items such as my wife's root beer was $7.00 and my draft IPA was $10.00.  Resort prices at Marco Island for meals and drinks are higher than expected; however they are severely overpriced at the JW Marriott hotel.  We spend a month in Hawaii every year and if I was to make a comparison then I would have to say that our time in Hawaii is a better experience and our cost for meals and drinks are significantly more reasonable. We do like the JW Marriott hotel and Marco Island but would like less exploitation of the prices for meals, drinks, etc., especially when the quality does not warrant the expense.
