There were 10 of us that dined here last night and everyone loved their food. We were staying at the Marriott Crystal Shores, and wanted a restuarant walkable. They had a 3 course early bird special and decided to give it a try. One person in the group was not in the mood for seafood, and he was able to find an option that he loved. For the main course our table ordered the ahi tuna, yellowtail snapper, swordfish, jumbo shrimp pasta, and the pork chop. Everyone loved their dishes. The citrus encrusted ahi tuna was perfectly prepared with a great sauce. The yellow tail was slightly sweet, light and flaky white fish. The swordfish was flattened with a mallet, and served piccata style. Delicious. The shrimp pasta had big jumbo shrimps with a light white sauce. And finally the Pork, which took 45 minutes to make, was the surprising hit of the table. Everyone tasted it and all loved it. There were 2 choices for dessert, so each of the couple had the crème brûlée and the flourless chocolate cake. The crime brûlée was creamy, and the chocolate cake was almost like chocolate molten cake and not at all dense. Overall a very successful group outing. All of us said we will be back. Our last night on Marco and we wanted a nice place for seafood and Fin Bistro got the nod. Tons of amazing reviews already so this one just piles on the positives. I recommend a reservation if you want to eat in the cooler dining room instead of the warmer, covered patio. We were seated immediately (thus the reservation) and our server Andrea was over at the table quickly. She was super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and specials and took our drink order while we looked over the menu. Before ordering they brought us some dinner rolls that came with olive oil and a harissa puree - fantastic! For drinks, Wifey ordered The Fin - delish but very strong and I had the patio painkiller - very tasty and refreshing. Wifey started with Goat cheese and heirloom tomato salad - it wasn't what she expected, but she liked it a lot. Toasty bread was perfect, but the extra drizzle of balsamic on the toast wasn't needed as there was a LOT of balsamic in it already...almost a little to much as it overwhelmed the tomatoes a bit. Seafood chowder for me and it was very good - full of seafood and creamy, but not too rich, though I would have liked it slightly hotter (it wasn't cold, but just warm. For our entrees, Wifey had the Blackened prawn linguini and I had the Seafood and lobster risotto. The portions here are quite large and neither of us finished our meals...which was sad since they were outstanding. My risotto could actually have been split between two people and still been enough - LOT's of seafood (shrimp, jumbo shrimp, lobster, and scallops). Wifey was expecting more of a broth or butter sauce with hers, but instead it was creamy and she loved it. We were obviously too full for dessert so we called it a night Just some other info... Restaurant website sends you to Open Table and the only thing available in the dining room was for 5:15. When we walked in at 5:15 80% of the tables were empty, but the place eventually filled up. We would have preferred a later reservation, but the only thing available was in the bar area. If here in the summer try not to take patio seating unless you like the heat because it's warm in there. Though we didn't partake, Wifey commented that Fin Bistro had an Excellent wine list. Food was very good, fresh and tasty. The staff was quick, super friendly and attentive. My wife had the Seafood Scampi over spinach She loved it and it was tasty! I had the seared tuna with asparagus, very fresh, very tasty. However, the tuna needed some love. First, the tuna could have been seared more to gain that great outside crust, my personal opinion. The thing I don't understand was how they cut it. Normally, tuna loin is seared and sliced by the chef. This came out in two chunks that were slightly scorn, where slices should be. For those that eat tuna, you know that it is very tender and hard to cut unless you have a sharp knife. All that was at the table was a butter knife. It's like cutting mashed potatoes with a hammer. My critique on this is the chefs should be slicing the tuna, so the customers can enjoy the dish without having to do I work hard, cutting the tuna. While on vacation on Marco Island, we enjoyed a wonderful fish dinner at Fin Bistro. We were two couples sitting in a booth inside with a window looking out into the enclosed patio which had additional seating. We were immediately greeted by Jason, our very efficient waiter. We were offered drinks, but we just indulged at our hotel. The bread basket was fabulous- the rolls were hot and crusty, and they had olive oil and butter there too. We ordered the Bistro Bibb Salad- Boston bibb radicchio, warm walnut crusted goat cheese, potato straws and mustard herb vinaigrette was delicious and shareable. Paul had the Seafood Chowder New England style with lobster paprika butter. It was hot and very rich. We all ordered the same entree special. The very fresh halibut with grilled asparagus and lobster risotto. For myself and Barbara, we were able to exchange the risotto for the Jasmine rice. We all raved about our halibut dinner because of the delicate and flavorful sauce over the fish and perfectly cooked sides. For Marco Island this restaurant is one of the one true fine dining places. The seating is intimate and lighting is soft, made reservations and when we arrived we were greeted by a friendly host who seated us right away, our server was helpful with suggestions on what to eat. For starters we had the crab cake, of all the crab cakes I have eaten this is in the top 5, perfect crust teaming with crab and was very tasty, for dinner I had the Black Grouper, came out perfectly prepared and the flavor profile was delicious, had a tropical drink which was delicious, my wife had the special which was also cooked to perfection and the perfect temperature. Honestly disappointed based on the positive reviews. I ordered the local sliced tomato salad and it was lacking flavor. I also had the Yellowfin Tuna Crudo, the Fin Lump Crab Cake and the Coconut Shrimp Tempura. Again, nothing to write home about. What a disappointment!!! This used to be my favorite restaurant on Marco but the new owners have ruined it. Overpriced and smaller portions were the start of my experience. Ordered fried calamari and while the pieces were nice and small and crunchy it tasted so fishy and old. Like they opened a bait box and chopped it up and over cooked it. I ordered my favorite coconut shrimp entree with jasmine coconut rice and Asian string beans. Again the portions are much smaller than they used to be but at a much higher in price. The rice, while tasty, looked like a miniature little dollop ice cream scoop, the string beans have lost their flavor and the shrimp were just not fresh. 4 tiny shrimp overcooked and greasy. The old owner actually used large prawns, had a crisp yet light coconut tempura batter and they were always fresh, not now!!!! When I tell you this used to be the best restaurant it was!!! Never again. I have come here several times since the new owner took over and it continues to decline. They have just jacked up the prices, cut the portion sizes, and lowered the food quality. Don't bother going here. There are so many other places to go where you won't feel like someone ripped you off. No excuses here when you are charging exorbitant prices like that, your food better be fresh! If this restaurant wasn't so close to the Marco walk and the hotels it would be closed down because no one would want to pay those prices for mediocre food. Total tourist trap!! I made a reservation for Fin Bistro for a fancier dinner out while visiting my parents in the Naples area. We were seated on their enclosed patio, which was really nice and protected although the weather was perfect. Reservations are always recommended for Naples area restaurants, especially during peak season. Fin Bistro is located in a strip mall as many restaurants in this area are, and parking is a bit limited. Our server was really great and gave good recommendations. We started with some complimentary bread with olive oil that had some harissa puree, which was delicious. The menu is pretty typical of the fancier restaurants in the area, with plenty of seafood options, salads, and some steak and chicken dishes. I opted for the Key West swordfish piccata, and Nate got the day's feature, red drum fish, that came with a chili sauce and risotto. My mom got the jumbo coconut shrimp and my dad got the salmon. Our food didn't take too long to come out and everything was plated beautifully. The shrimp were massive - I'd never seen shrimp that big before! Everyone enjoyed their meals and I loved the swordfish piccata. The fish was tender and moist, even as a thinner filet. It was a large portion too. I liked the accompanying veggies and angel hair pasta. I didn't find much lump crab, but the fish was so good I didn't mind. When we ask people on Marco about which restaurant would be their favorite, we often hear Fin Bistro, so we thought we'd check it out, but start with the bar bites & happy hour before committing to the higher priced main menu. We arrived at 4:00 for their 4-5 happy hour. First impression as we walked through the restaurant to the bar was very positive... nice layout and atmosphere. Found a good seat at the bar and was greeted by a very personable and pleasant bartender. The bar bites menu looked decent, but as Flavor Hesitaters, we decided to start with something simple... the $12 Umami Wagu sliders and the $8 Natural Cut French Fries. Cutting to the chase... the 2 Wagu sliders were not worth the $12 or the Umami descriptor. As for the fries, let's put it this way... the reason they called them Natural Cut Fries, is probably because that is what it said on the freezer bag they took them from... McDonald's has nothing to worry about. I also thought $8+ for a Yuengling 16 oz. draft was overpriced for happy hour... more than twice the price of almost every other restaurant on the island. So, in summary, an hour and $50 later, Fin Bistro had great atmosphere and staff, but over-priced food and beverages. Their inability to deliver on the bar bites did not give us the confidence needed to invest a $100+ on dinner from the main menu. read more

Routestock, a complete discount, scrap wine was sold as a 50% off bottle so I bought it. My thinking was it will be like $30 a bottle. I had my 2 college kids with me who guzzle wine when it has a cork and parents are paying. It was $80 which is absolutely asinine. Routestock is great, but a $160 price point is befuddling. My wife and I ate here during our January 2026 trip to Marco Island. We split a Bistro Bibb salad which was excellent. My wife had the Creamy Tuscan Salmon. It was a generous portion and she really loved it. The creamy sauce was amazing. I had the Florida Keys Dorado. This had a sauce with creamy corn, lump crab and a mild chili type pepper. I thought it was fantastic. For dessert we split the white Chocolate Apple Bread Pudding which was to die for. The server was excellent. We have been going to Fin Bistro for years when we come to Marco Island and we have always loved coming and seeing Cathy. This year we heard they had new owners and decided to go there for our daughter's birthday. It was so disappointing! We had a nice booth in the bar, but our server (Bar T?) made our dining experience one of the worst we have had. If I was going to guess, he may have been a back of the house employee! We come here every time we're at Marco Island. It's a nice, fancier restaurant across the street from the Marriott beach club. Our waiter Jason is always good and the waiters in general are always friendly and make the kids laugh. There is a cool fish tank that occupied the kids for a while and they hahe a very good kids menu (the fish sticks are really good). The herb crusted snapper is our go to and is really fresh and tasty with the coconut butter. We had a decent dinner at Fin Bistro while on vacation in Marco Island. The food definitely varied depending on what you ordered - some of the cooking decisions were a little weird. For example, my special had a really nicely cooked local fish but it was served with a heavy cheddar risotto. Each part on its own was good, but they didn't marry well together. Other entrees were definitely better - so read the menu descriptions carefully! Regarding drinks, sticking to the wine list is much better than the cocktails. The cocktails tasted like they came from a pre-made mix & definitely weren't worth the price. The ambiance is what you would expect from a nice restaurant - the tables were large & I liked the fish tanks around as decoration. Fins has really fresh seafood, but unfortunately the service was very lackluster. It took us over an hour to get our meal, so for an 8:00 reservation we weren't done with dinner until nearly 10 PM. Slow service aside, this is a great option for delicious and creative seafood dishes. Prices are also very fair, especially compared to Oyster Society where we had eaten the night before. I really enjoyed my lobster roll sliders which came with three buttery buns, lots of quality lobster meat and the most delicious aioli. I also tried the octopus starter which was a beet and goat cheese salad topped with pieces of blackened octopus. Octopus can often by $20+ for an app portion alone, and for something like $13 this came with a really generous amount. My husband ordered some sort of super decadent dish with sea bass, gnocchi and a cream sauce. A little rich for my blood, but he said it was one of the best dishes he tried during our week in FL. Fins is in a strip mall but has a nice ambiance. They have a large outdoor patio section, and a huge indoor space with a beautiful bar area. Even when we finished up at 10 PM it was still buzzing and you can tell it's a popular spot. Speaking of... reservations are highly encouraged! You can't make one through their website and will need to call and leave a voicemail. Surely worth the trip for dinner if you are in Marco. read more
