Quincy's is a wonderful gem tucked in the quaint town of Florence. This location has been open for 3 years but it looks like it's been here for a hundred. The staff was warm and welcoming but busy and efficient. Expect a 15/30 minute wait at peek times. The menu is extremely simple. Filet Mignon or Prime Rib dinner. Prices are well with it. When did you last see a 15oz bacon wrapped Filet Mignon under $20 that was cooked to perfection? You get a wedge salad, steak and potato with the fixings'. The manager had horrible attitude when we didn't call ahead. Horrible service was left unchecked for 30 mins when our meals finally arrived after 30 minutes my husbands steak was burnt to a crisp and we got nothing but excuses in response on how the steak was hard to cook. Worst customer service ever, tried to reserve a table for family and the had already booked even when they said they can't book before 330, we came by at 335 and they said they were already booked. Actually went in for the first time last night and was amazed by how full I was. I enjoyed my fillet and the wedge salad.

There's not one thing to not love about Quincy's! When all you do is steak and prime rib, you become the experts! They also serve a nice wedge salad, potato and roll with the meal. At a bargain price of $10-$13 for decent serving sizes, you can't beat a meal here. I can't even imagine driving into C Springs for a steak dinner. We loved their fruit margaritas too, especially the peach. Maybe enjoy one while you're waiting for a table, it's gets busy on the weekends! read more

Make sure you call ahead before you go because if you don't you and your party will keep being pushed to the bottom of the wait list. My family and I waited 55 mins and kept being pushed to the bottom of the list. The hostess even told us that's the way it works. Maybe it's a blessing we didn't eat there. Great little place. We first found this place during a day a perusing the Florence antique scene. The menu is fixed (prime rib on some days, filet mignon on others), your only choice is "what size?". This is cool because they do one thing and they do it right. We've only been in twice on prime rib night and its been awesome both times. With your steak, you get a wedge salad with really good dressing, a baked potato, and a slice of bread. This last time they added a slice of cantaloupe. This may have been there the first time but I didn't remember it. The bread is really good too. I always get a few extra pieces. The atmosphere is always nice too. I usually sit at the bar while waiting. (You WILL have to wait. It's a popular place). There is always another friendly patron to strike up a conversation with. Oh, the drinks are pretty reasonable too. It seams like $3.50 is the magic number. I do have to agree with one other comment tho, the hostess thing could use a little refining. Otherwise, top notch. This place is perfection! Family owned chain with a great concept: serve one thing and do it well! Went on a Tuesday which is filet mignon night (Friday Saturday is prime rib). It is served with a wedge salad, baked potato and bread. We felt welcome and valued by the staff. Every request was honored quickly and the food was prepared perfectly. The atmosphere was quaint and inviting which made for a very nice evening. Only one small insignificant suggestion: since you have a potato, bread and salad which were all white, a little garnish of green like parsley would help with the presentation. Yuck, Yuck, Yuck! They cook one thing each night. Tonight (Wed) it is filet mignon. How can you screw it up when you only cook 1 thing for the main meal? The salad was good. I ordered the 6 oz filet, medium rare with the standard sides. The baked potato was warm. Not even hot enough to melt the butter. When I cut into the steak it was medium well. My husband's steak came out medium rare, but it was pretty tasteless. That is why there is A1 sauce on the table. I haven't had A1 sauce since I was in grammar school. Now granted, our meal was less that $30. The waitress never followed up to see how our food came out. It was like she was too much in a hurry and they wanted to get us in and out for the next set of diners. Pass on this restaurant. read more

I was driving through on Wednesday January 4 and needed a meal that wasn't fast food. The wedge salad was fine, baked potato was good, filet mignonette was tough and not too great but all in all for $10.50 it was decent. Margarita was watery and would not recommend. The thing that killed my opinion on this place was it took forever to get my bill and I was in a hurry to get on the road, so I slapped down $20 and the waitress said "oh do you want change?" And kinda rolled her eyes! I guess she expected a $5+ tip on my $14 tab after she ignored me once I got my food. I should have left zero tip but she got her 20%. Super rude read more

When in Florence, eat at Quincy's!! We stumbled upon this gem on a weekend drive, and weren't disappointed! If Quincy's was in Denver it would be our go to restaurant for sure. It was prime rib Saturday, everything was delicious the salad, prime rib cooked to perfection the baked potato and soft chewy yummy bread followed by NY style cheesecake all so very good. The waitress had no answer nor did she offer a reason or offer to refill ours drinks. We left without our dinner and we even paid for our drinks.....smh. This was our first and sad to say our last visit to this establishment. We were taken here by friends who have dined here many of times and none of us will be going back. When we were seated the hostess returned and was asking us to if we were the right party, kind of like she wanted us to give our seats up to someone else. It took us 20 minutes to have our drink orders taken and the 2 tables that were seated after us had their orders taken before us. After getting our food we seen our waitress only once and never had our drinks refilled after she said she would be back with refills. Once we got our bill and talked with the manager about having terrible service, she made excuses for the service that we had received. If it was possible to leave a rating of less than 1 Star this place would get a negative 5 stars. read more
