Fun niche place - I'm a huge prime rib fan so this was great for me! They only serve one dish: prime rib or filet mignon depending on the day. It comes with a wedge salad brought beforehand, and the plate comes with a baked potato with sour cream and butter, bread with a side of butter, prime rib, au jus, horseradish, and a side of shredded cheese (which I added to the baked potato). Prime rib was great! Potato and salad weren't the best, but that's okay. I love the different sizes offered and appreciate that they have a 8 oz and 12 oz portion. It gets very busy on the weekend, so come around 5 if you do not want to wait. Our waitress was very sweet and convinced us to try the lemon cheesecake, which was fantastic. We split it four ways. Interesting place. Great food and good prices on food and drink. The unique thing is they only serve one meal each day. Filet Mignon sunday -Thursday and Prime Rib on Friday and Saturdays. There are four different sizes offered of each but that's as far as the choices go. They come with a baked potato and salad with house (ranch) dressing and a slice of bread with butter. I came on a Saturday night at 7:30 and the place was full so I sat at the bar. Ordered a house margarita ($4.75) and the 8 oz size prime rib. I was happily surprised by the portion size. It was a perfectly cooked medium rare. The baked potato was a nice size but basic in flavor. Thw only topping options are butter and sour cream. The restaurant was at capacity and since it was only me, I chose to sat at the bar which only had one seat open. Tricia the bartender took great care of me and while not overly outgoing, she was friendly, polite and helpful. If your looking for variety this probably isn't the place for you but if your looking for a nice portion of good quality prime rib at a great price, this is your joint! read more

Little did his character know about this restaurant was that they only serve T-bone steaks and baked potatoes and that's really close to what you'll find at Quincy's. Depending on the day of the week you'll find either a filet or prime rib for dinner served with a baked potato and house salad. It's a no-frills menu with very few choices besides the size of the steak and if you want butter and sour cream on your potato. They usually have a number of house cocktails available which are well priced and strong. The steaks are normally really good, cooked to order, and with a price point lower than you'll find anywhere in the state. The location in Florence already had people waiting outside for a table 15 minutes after they opened so plan accordingly. read more

First walking in it seems a little small. But you can choose to sit at the bar or in booth seating. The waitress's are very nice and pleasant to deal with. The overall atmosphere is definitely different and high paced. The overall volume is just right for this restaurant. The food is possibly the best prime rib I have had. They definitely cook it to your order and the au jus sauce is fabulous. The prime rib melts in Your mouth and definitely keeps you going for another bite even when you're full. WOW!!!!! One of the best filets, I have ever had. This place is a jewel in the crown of this area's destination eateries. Just where can you get a filet, baked potato, lettuce wedge and bread for well under 20 bucks? The margarita for 5 dollars was also amazing. Our server, Chelsea was so attentive and personable. Decided to make the drive to Quincy's and arrived around 8:00 on a Friday night and were told there would be a 45 minute to an hour wait until less we wanted immediate bar seating. We told them we would wait and were seated maybe 5 minutes later. The hostess wasn't the kindest but our server was pretty good. Food was flavorful, ordered medium-rare and received medium-rare. Potato, salad, and bread were delicious as well. We ordered an Old Fashioned with Markers Mark, it was okay not great and a summer punch cocktail that was pretty good. It is a little loud and bright inside but the chairs were comfy. There is one side of the restaurant that appears to be darker but I have never been able to sit on that side. Was very excited to be dining in for my birthday. We came from out of town made a reservation. When we arrived it was very visable they were busy as there was a large crowd waiting outside. We went in and let the host/ server know that we had arrived. And she very rudely informed us that she was still seating her 6:00 pm customers. (Our reservation was for 6:30). We said okay. It was cold outside and we had our small children with us. I told my husband let's just wait in the truck. So he turned and asked how we would be notified that our table was ready and she again very rudely said I will go out and tell you just like I do all the other people. I love the concept of this restaurant. Depending on the night you can order 1 thing (only the size of the cut of meat varies). Low cost steak and prime rib dinners, but not low quality! Here are the basics. Friday and Saturday is Prime Rib nights and Sunday through Thursday is Filet Mignon nights. Every night you will get a wedge salad (iceberg lettuce, carrots and house dressing which is similar to a ranch), the meat of the night (you choose the size), baked potato and bread. We went on a Thursday which is a Filet Mignon night and loved it. It is a very warm cozy restaurant. The simplicity of the menu made ordering easy. We opted for their $3.75 margaritas and I found them delicious! The steak was cooked perfectly for both of us and the service was friendly. My only tiny complaint was the bacon on my filet was seriously droopy (definitely needed crisped up on the flat top), but I did order medium rare so I guess they just didn't want to overcook it. Quincy's used to be excellent. In the last year the quality has gone down. Since 2 cuts of meat are the only thing served, I would think the cooks would be proficient at cooking steaks, lately that has not been true. Medium well comes well done so I switched and ordered medium and it comes rare. I finally started ordering vegetarian plate ad gave up on steak (at a steak house). They are so worried about turning over tables it takes the fun out of dinner. The hostess makes no bones about letting you know when you need to go. One hostess told a man at the table next to us, "I could have turned this table over 3x in the time you've been here." It's nice that they clear your dirty dishes but the manner in which it's done let's you know that it's time to go. Most of the waitresses are great, our last one was fantastic. My husband always orders dessert but when he does you can tell they really want you to get it to go. When we left I over heard one hostess tell another, "They've been here since 6:30." We were a party six, and left at 8:00. You can only eat so fast. It's a steak house, not fast food. I'll only go back if we have out of town company that want to go there. My family drove from Pueblo (30 ish minute drive) to Florence to eat at this restaurant to spend time with my Grandparents before my sister leaves for college. My dad called ahead on the drive up, since we had been told they only do call aheads, not reservation. He was then told we could only be added to the list once we arrived. When we arrived we got on the listed and waited OVER AN HOUR while parties all around us of the same size were let in. Mind you these parties arrived after us. After finally asking the hostess what was going on, she informed us the people that walked right in had called ahead, when that is exactly what we tried to do and were refused. In addition, the group larger than us that got in the moment they arrived clearly knew the hostess and she greeted them by name. She made an exception for them while we had been waiting for an hour and a half with absolutely no attempt to get us seated. The customer service we received was horrible, and this woman was extremely rude to us about our situation, we never once got an apology. We ended up leaving and eating elsewhere after this extremely unprofessional interaction. read more

Stopped by on a Sunday, even at 4:30 it was starting to fill up. The few choices offered are size and cooking temperature. Ordered the 12 ounce Filet medium rare. Butter and sour cream on my baked potato, cheese on my wedge salad. All exceeded expectations and the filet was tasty and juicy. Wedge salad was surprisingly nice. The Italian Lemon Cake was good, large enough to share, but next time, I'm going to get my own piece. Definitely worth the trip and cost. Will go back to try the prime rib. read more

"Steak and Spirits" are precisely what to expect, and they do it right! This review is two very different reviews in one. Overall, simple, tasteful quality, and reasonably priced. Our first time there, we didn't feel as welcomed or appreciated by the host or server, but the prime rib was delish, AND they serve real horseradish with au jus that you're going to want to drink straight. That's a lot coming from a gal that grew up on Vegas buffets that boast about their prime rib being the best. Our second time we went, another host and the bartendress made up for our service experience the first time. The bartendress and close friend of the GM was tastfully friendly that made us want to return. The filet was also delish and baked potatoes are conditionally on point.
