Could not even stay long enough to order food because the smoke was so thick inside. Hard to believe they are not shut down.

I can't believe this place is even open it's dirty inside. the room at the front of the building has been closed longer than I can remember. there's missing tiles and insulation everywhere in there. the door is locked Thank Goodness. it's dangerous the food is horrendous. in Florence it's the only fast food restaurant. we keep trying it but no more. the kid said the onion rings were right out of the fryer which is why we had to wait. they were warm and chewy. just disgusting. sometime times they are closed in the daytime. guessing noone showed up for work it's a sad sad situation and in the two years I've tried it a half dozen times it's always bad. I did have one good Carls Star Burger but fries are soggy and way to much salt the soda fountain area is dirty as well I'm not going back. not sure how they even stay open. there's hardly anyone in there read more

This place is so beat I can't even believe it. The bathroom has raw sewage spewing up. The windows are so dirty you can't see out. Big swirls where nobody washed them. The tables are greasy and sticky with like a glue or honey or something. The Lady there was nice and all the food was normal but don't go in you might hurl. The only solution I can see is to doze it and start again. read more

Carl's advertises as better than average. Ordered online and arrived in 10 minutes. Soggy burgers, fries cool and oily, and zuke fries oily (dirty or too cool oil). This screams subpar management. Burger king is less for better food. It was better a couple years ago. read more

My husband and I were in that area today and on a time crunch. I have never had a bad experience with Carl's Junior. This was by far the worst food I have ever eaten. I got the 5.00 double cheeseburger box. The fries had been reheated and were like rubber. The burger so dry and overcooked it was hard to swallow. The burger clearly was not fresh. My husband got the Western bacon cheese burger and same thing. So old and dry. I am quite certain they are cooking the food ahead of time. The place was not busy at all, as I was finishing another couple were equally disgusted. I didn't have time to have them remake it nor did I trust them to, so I left. For managers, this crew was goofing off most of the time, no excuse for such bad food. addition. Maybe I'm completely different and only go during certain hours where I've never had a bad experience. I won't say it's the best place to go or eat at; but when I'm wanting something fast and quick in town it's here or Subway. I get tired of food fairly quickly and so these two are my rarities. Pros: I do like their shakes better than Sonic's. They taste like the Owl Cigar's. During this time through the drive thru the cashier was awesomely friendly. I completely customized my order and she took it in stride. Never a snarky attitude. I'm pretty sure I've had her before and enjoy my restaurant experience. Cons: This may be a minute, but for me it can be irritaring. I understand they need to be friendly; but when a staff who is cleaning always stops to talk while eating, it distrupts me in a not good way. I won't say it's creepy but please let me eat in peace without you disturbing me every few minutes. Recommended? Everyone here says no. I won't say either way. I got the double cheeseburger meal deal box with French fries, a coke, and onion rings. The soda was by far the absolute thing. I received what looked like a two day old burger, with a tear drop of ketchup and one single pickle slice. While in the picture it appears to have onions, pickles and maybe tomatoes. My fries were re warmed, and I can't say I much enjoyed the single onion ring. Negative two stars, if I could. How is this location even open? read more

We've tried the Carl's Jr. in Florence, Co 3 times. Each time it gets worse! It's dirty inside, the shakes they rave about are disappointing. They taste like just milk. I just left there again without ordering because the employees were all yelling and cussing at each other!!! Three strikes!!! I wonder who owns this place because it is really bad!!! We went into this location in Florence and we noticed that the people cooking the food were not wearing masks. The one girl was not happy and talking over the food as she prepared it. Then I noticed food all over the floor and the trash over flowing and it made me nervous. I ask the manager why only person(s) not wearing a mask were the employees cooking the food. She didn't have an answer. She asked the cooks to wear masks and the the young girl got upset and starting talking back and walked off the line. She said it was stupid. She then pulled it to her chin. We asked for a refund. Unfortunate. read more

We gave it another chance a couple years later- seems to be an all new staff, and the customer service has vastly improved. We really haven't had any issues to speak of, just some minor discrepancies here and there, but it is fast food- things happen. All in all, glad we gave it another chance and glad they seem to have dealt with their employee issues. We don't eat fast food often, but sometimes when you're too tired to cook it's nice to have an option that is quick and easy. read more

Went to Carl's Jr. in Florence Colorado today. I had a terrible experience with the Burger King in Canon City just yesterday so I decided to give Carl's Jr a try. I will say that it wasn't any better. I ordered the $6.00 burger, and a water. My order came I opened up the wrapper and once again was so disappointed with the quality of my burger I had to take another picture of it. The reason I'm ranting about this is that the management at our local fast food restaurants obviously do not care about the quality of the product they are giving to their customers or they wouldn't hand us such a awful looking burger! I understand that the photos on the menu are touched up, but the people at the restaurant could try to make it look nice put a little care into what they do. I hope they see this Yelp post and the owner of that Carl's JR in Florence Colorado will address his staff to fix the problem. read more

Filthy, filthy, disgusting. Came through the drive through the last time (yes, for the last time) and more employees were outside smoking than were working inside. None washed their hands when they re-entered. We saw them get right back to work. Revolting. The restaurant itself was nasty. You can see the grime from the street. read more

The service was mean to my friends and I. I would understand a little since we are high schoolers but they had no right to throw our cups at us and table cards. If i had to play f**k kill marry with restaurants, it would go velveteen habit, taco bell, and carls jr. Although you might not always get what you want, (breakfast at 5 pm), they will always be there to support you. They know whats best (not being open at 2am so i can buy waffle fries), even if the truth hurts. Carls jr will always have a special place in my heart. read more
