They should make all employees take a literacy test. Ordered 2 sausage, egg, and cheese croissants. Received 2 sausage, egg, and cheese biscuits. Seriously? How can you confuse a croissant with a biscuit? The biscuits were undercooked and the sausage tasted dry, like it had been sitting in the warmer for hours. These were just nasty! If I go back, I'll sit in the drive thru and open each item to confirm accuracy. Screw their speed-of-service clock. I know it's directly connected to management's pay bonus. I placed an order thru my mobile app And wasn't even told till after I got to window that the drink I ordered is out. They offered another drink but I didn't want another drink. I wanted the drink I ordered. They rudely told me to go to the app to request a refund. I was hoping for more guidance on how to do that but she literally told me to get out of their drive thru and shut the window on me. I have never been treated so badly. It's been 10 years since I ate at a Burger King and I thought I was doing a favor bringing my son and 2 of his friends in for their first time. When we walked in, there were only 2 customers in the store that had already ordered. We waited 8 minutes before anyone acknowledged our presence and then another 10 before we got our food. We then tried to find a clean table but there weren't any. All of that I can understand if you had just been slammed or were short staffed but the ridiculous amount of mustard on my Whopper was what got to me. It's your signature item...who messes that up? It rook me 15 minutes and 30 seconds to get two cheese burgers, which were laying in the chute since I arrived.(cold when I finally got them. I asked for my money back, and then they hustled to give me my food. I got hot fries because they started emptying other fries already packaged into the bin, and I said no way. The two people ahead of me were still waiting when I left. They take care of the drive through no matter what, before the customers inside, making such a long wait. People hates on this place so bad but I talked to some of the staff and this place is under new management. The customer service is about what you'd expect when life sucks. They accommodated my needs but not with a smile which is fine. They're just working. The facilities don't look too bad and I saw fresh soap in their sinks. So you know they're refilling their sinks to actually clean their dishes. I've got no complaints at all. I just wish these guys were paid more so they'd have the energy to be happier. read more

Inside the restaurant is hot like no AC is on and soda machine is not working but service is top notch. They made me a wrong burger which I noticed while I was eating and then they apologized and made the right burger. When I got home I saw they had put mayo on it then attempted to wipe it off like if I couldn't see it, it wouldn't be there. Filthy, only 3 people working while the fourth is a filthy guy sitting on his ass in the back.. No cup lids, no ketchup, filth everywhere, inside and outside backed up.. people walking out due to the fact it took them 20 minutes just to take the order, and another 39 before it was done!!! Had I not already paid I would have walked out with the rest of your potential customers.. they screwed up a family's order next to us so the mother didn't eat her salad.. low carb diet.. so the put a burger in a tray slapped a tomato on it threw some lettuce over it and then squirted ketchup on it and sent it out.. Our fries were cold, chicken fries were hard n burned, and my mother's whopper had about a pound of cheese on it and half a bottle of ketchup!!! This isn't a employee problem. This is a management problem! These folks make good money for the simplest tasks!! And they want more? They can't even manage to make a damn burger let alone manage someone to do so!! Although the bar is notably low where Burger King restaurants are concerned the Burger King in Canon City, CO has got to be one of the worst on the planet. Everytime I go there I swear we will never return then few months later decide to give it a chance. The ineptitude of the management at this little restaurant borders on the bizarre. The staff is poorly trained and always struggles with the computer cash register and ordering system. There always appears to be an air of confusion and chaos behind the counter. This usually results in frequent mistakes on your order. Despite the fact that cheeseburgers are far more popular than hamburgers when you order a whopper or Whopper Jr. with cheese they always and I mean always forget to add the cheese. I would give a zero if I could. From the time we entered the drive thru, there was an excuse for everything that could NOT be done. We requested 3 separate orders and the associate asked us if we could group it into one. Finally, the associate agreed to three orders. The first order was not a problem, started with second order and was told we couldn't order a burger. Most people working overnights normally take lunch between 2-3am. It would be nice to know that there was one place to go where you didn't get an excuse as to why they couldn't serve you, especially when there are only two places to eat in this town after 11pm. read more

We drove through Canon City on a road trip and stopped here for lunch and they were very busy. All 3 of us ordered chicken, the first fried chicken sandwich was brought out after a few minutes but the other two took close to 20 min. When we asked why it was taking so long, they said Whoppers are in higher demand so the chicken takes longer (which basically means we are lower on the totem pole. Almost 20 people were served before us and they ordered much after). Overall the employees were rude and had attitude with us and instead of doing something to make it up to us, they just ignored us. Ok I know it's a Burger King and some may be saying why post about that? Well this is a post about the worst BK in the United States! About a month ago I stopped in here for a quick bite to eat. I like fish sandwiches, but was tired of McDonalds so I decided to try Burger King. I have had there fish sandwich before and remembered how good it was, the only problem was it was in California where I had it. So I ordered the BK Fish to go and went. Got home and was so disappointed I had to take a picture of it. Next day I stopped by the Canon City Burger King and talked to the manager, I showed her what I ordered then showed her what I got, she just looked defeated. She said " you come back and I will make you a new one myself". Well a few weeks later and here I am just as disgusted as the last time. She was here and she did not make my new sandwich and when I asked about the lettuce I was told that's what we use here! I have taken a picture of there advertising fish sandwich and a picture of what I got. It's sad, so if your into trying terrible Yelp reviews then head on down to Canon City where I can guarantee you won't get it your way! There is a McDonalds just down the road. read more

Terrible service. I recently moved here and went through the Drive-Thru twice...never again. The first time it took 35 minute (yes, I was tracking it) from the time I got in line to when I got my order. By the time I realized I might die in the line, there was no way to escape. To top it off, all I ordered was a frozen lemonade and they must have filled the drink when I ordered it and had it sitting at the window for 25 min (it took 10 min just to order) so it was no longer frozen. This was not obvious to the girl at the window and I had to ask for another. Today I thought I would try again, I had a breakfast coupon and thought I'd grab something on the way to work. I sat at the speaker for 5 min before someone even responded and then they greeted me and and told me they'd be with me in a minute. 5 minutes later I asked if anyone was going to help me and they started to take my order. I arrived at 10:25, just before breakfast ends and while I was sitting and waiting a guy came out and changed the menu board over to lunch. So when she took my order at 10:35 she tells me they aren't service breakfast anymore. Avoid this restaurant, plenty of other options in town. read more

Okay, so they just spent hundreds of thousands of dollars remodeling the place so my son and I decided to go see the renovations. It was so horribly dirty in there I couldn't even finish my food. They have a new drink machine with a touch screen that has like 20 different options of soft drinks, but the only drink they had in-stock was sprite. The drain underneath the machine smelled like sewage, and upon a quick glance I saw that it had not been cleaned in probably 3 days...it was completely backed up with sitting water and all sorts of straw wrappers and misc things stuck in it. There wasn't any ketchup in the dispenser, nor any napkins. All of the tables were dirty, so I quickly pulled a wet-nap out of my purse and wiped one down for us. Our food didn't arrive for 25 minutes, and my little boys hamburger was so dried out he couldn't finish it. The outdoor trashcans were spilling over. Fast forward a month later, my husband wants a Whopper. I tried to tell him not to go because it was so gross. He brushed me off and said to get over it. Before we walked inside, the stench from the overflowing trashcan was so bad we could smell it from 20 yards away. Upon entering the resturaunt, there was a crushed up cigarette all over the first table..I'm talking tobacco everywhere and the filter was completely shredded. We started to walk up to the counter and yet again, the soft drink machine drain was backed up and smelled like sewage with wrappers and condiments everywhere. Every time, they get the order wrong or leave something out. Every time, it takes 20 minutes for an order (not talking 20 hamburgers--a couple meals.)
