My wife and I frequent this Chili's maybe 2 times month. Always for the 3 for 10 dollar smash burger deal. Which for some reason half the time they don't smash them as the menu and picture describes. This is the third time this has happened. Unfortunately the server gets the brunt if the cooks ineptness. I was so disappointed again, I asked to speak with NICOLE the manager. I showed her our burgers, 3 of us, NONE were smash burgers as ordered Her stupid response was, we smash all are burgers. Not an apology, can I fix it, can we discount your meal, nothing. Very nice experience with Chili's tonight. The surf and turf was outstanding. My wifes texmex salad was extraordinary. Not to mention the outstanding margaritas. One only downside was the bartender lady was kind of rude. The restaurant was quiet and it seemed to be plenty of staff on hand to serve folks. Very clean. I ordered a medium well-done steak from Chili's in Canon City. They gave me a well-done steak. They redid the order and gave me another well-done steak. When I said something, the manager (Fazio) told me to order rare next time so that the cook can work on getting the order where I want it. It is not my job to give a wrong order so they can get it right. Plus, it is unsanitary to keep passing a steak between a dining room full of people and the kitchen (gross). I spoke to the other manager, Ortega, and he was very condescending until I asked for the number to corporate. They offered to comp the steak, I said no that was not the point. So, I paid over a 100 dollars for a meal and I was unable to eat. I took the well-done steak home and fed it to our dog. This has happened more than once at this restaurant. I have eaten at chili's many times since it opened back in the eighties and in many states. I just moved to Canon City and my husband picked up 2 quesadilla salads last night. We have had these many times at different Chili's and loved them. Horrible. Many ingredients were missing, all vegetables ( except wilted lettuce) cheese (except a tiny amount on dried out tortillas. There was no dressing and the chicken was so dry I needed water to swallow. These were very expensive, more than $5.00 more then last year. I understand prices have gone up and I am willing to pay for good food. Don't throw trash in a bag and up charge. read more

We love Chili's locally and nationally! this particular location was no exception to the amazingness we've come to expect. I love that the menu provides calorie counts as it makes it easier to eat relatively healthy while on the road. But the icing on the awesome cake was the customer service we received AFTER we had dined here...my son left his glasses on the table. I called the next morning a little before 10 am--a full hour+ before the location opened. Not only did the manager (presumably?) answer the phone (I assumed I'd have to leave a message and hope they called back before we hit the road again), he took my name and phone number to call me back...right, we've all heard that before, haven't we? Except this time--HE DID! About 20 minutes later he called and said there was a bucket of eye glasses that had been left and he'd have the bartender let me in to look since we were heading out again. This was well before the place even opened for lunch!!! We didn't take him up on this offer as I didn't want to bother the bartender before opening hours, but as soon as we got there (shortly after 11, opening time) my son went in and in five minutes was out with his glasses. Just had a good meal at Chili's in Cañon City. Waitress brought free chips and salsa even though our Rewards account was dormant. My husband had salmon and I had a Triple Dipper plate of egg rolls, burger bites and onion petals. Both meals were very good. We tried to use a Chili's gift card, which wouldn't work on the kiosk or for the waitress. Both our waitress and the manager on duty went above and beyond to make things right. They replaced the gift card and apologized for the snafu. Needless to say, the waitress got a good tip!. read more

Decent food. We didn't get our food all at the same time, so two of us were done before the third was. The waitress was forgetful, but nice. When we went to pay, my husband used the table top system and we got up and walked out. The waitress came out saying we did not pay. She asked to see our payment receipt, which he had left on the table. He went back in and they had screwed up and put the table screens on the wrong tables and we had paid the bill for the other table. The waitress was apologetic, but the manager was not. He was somewhat of a putz. We had to wait for them to refund what we paid and then charge us for our bill. It wasn't even that much of a difference, but their error made us lose travel time and now we have two charges on our card until we get the other charge back. Instead of just adding the few extra dollars and charging us that, we are inconvenienced because of their screwup. read more
