This was absolutely the very WORST restaurant I have EVER been to in my entire life.... and I am not on any way exaggerating. Let's see where do I begin? Have you ever been to a restaurant, which by the way is a chain since there are 4 others that I know of, that only has ONE OPTION for dinner? No I didn't think so. And yes, at first you may think, as we did, "this is quaint.. much like it would have been in the 'good ole days'." But no, soon after you realize this (may) have been their original plan, but this? This seems like someone thought of a way to make some money with out putting hardly any money at all into it, all while putting as little effort as possible into it at the same time. Ok so there is only ONE choice for dinner, at least it comes with sides, a short selection of drinks, and even some dessert.... it cant be that bad.. we'll you obviously haven't got to order yet and most definitely not received your food. The one selection that they offer does come with a salad and baked potato but they ONLY offer their house dressing, which was weird at best. That's right... no ranch (which we seen the table next to us smuggle in) blue cheese or even itallian! Just their weird house dressing. The baked potato was not bad however it is is incredibly hard to mess up a baked potato. There was also a piece of bread offered with the meal which was served without butter. But wait! There is an actual dedicated slice of butter for this bread that you may.... or may not.... find (as both my husband AND I did) under your garnish or under the potato itself. But ohhh the main course, the main reason to eat here was the one......... and ONLY.... selection you had to make. The steak. Well, you may think, this has GOT to be an amazing steak right! I mean after all, this is the only option... it's got to be good. HA! No seasoning.. no marinade.... nothing.. maybe a little salt? What it seemed like was that this was cooked and then had ajus sauce poured on top, which is also served with the meal.... in case you wanted some more sauce. But it's ok right.. I mean in all honestly how bad can someone mess up a steak? And if so then I'll just bury it in my favorite steak sauce... well think again! They dont have ANY steak sauce... you're supposed to dip it in the ajus sauce.. is what I was told by my waitress. What if you dont like their greasy flavorless ajus sauce? Too bad. Well, since my husband and I decided to to here on Valentine's day, it's ok right? We'll enjoy our dinner (even if it's terrible) and get a little tipsy for later..... if ya know what I mean. Well that will work for you if you dont mind choking down some terribly under the counter cheap cheap wine that even I! Couldn't finish... and as far as enjoying our meal? My husband couldn't even cut his steak with the incredibly cheap cutlery. If I could give this place an negative score I would because even after all of this, we still ended up spending 70 DOLLARS on this terrible OVER ALL experience. If you want food go somewhere else.... ANY WHERE ELSE! I would have been more satisfied at taco bell which always makes me sick to my stomach after eating and THIS... was supposed to be "steak house", as far as I'm concerned, Quincy's has made a mockery of what steak is, and will forever be, at least at EVERY OTHER ESTABLISHMENT in the history of ever. I will not return... I will not recommend this place.. and I take pity on those who venture out for a nice experience and night out. read more
