The lady who owned the store was chatting away showing off new items in the clothing boutique at the back of the room. She was lovely and very approachable. I needed up buying a top and necklace for my mother in law. The fashion is really nice and aimed at ladies in their 40s+ I would say. I was into plenty of it, as they have a really nice on trend rack. The home wares are fun interior decor items inc paintings, ornaments, furniture, vases and mirrors. I have my eye on a cactus cookie jar. They were in the middle of taking down all their Christmas stuff so can't wait to see what stock they put in it's place.

The quality of the stuff there was mostly awesome. I didn't see anything that was dying or looked sick. ONE! Just one! Out of all the plants I picked up had signs of spider mites. For a greenhouse, that's damn amazing. The stuff is priced just like any other small greenhouse, but I did get a beautiful coleus for only $6. I left with 3 gorgeous plants and only paid $42. Will definitely be back!

I won a gift certificate to Visser's on the radio, so we made the trek over to Visser's and boy oh boy were we impressed! The quality of their flowers were amazing and everything was displayed so artistically! They had the best flower baskets I have EVER seen - overflowing with lush flowers! The baskets were mostly $35 or 2/$60. They had a sale on bedding plants so we stocked up and brought home the most beautiful Fuschia hanging basket! Their staff were super knowledgeable and helpful, too! We went on the weekend and they had free coffee, water, and donuts. Later in the day they open a little hot dog stand. They had two play areas for children - one inside the green houses and one outside with a large sandbox - such a great idea! And yes, we had a toddler en tote! They have a super friendly dog there by the name of Bear who also helped to entertain my 2 year old. They had phenomenal quality herb and tomoato plants at exellent prices. Herbs were $2.50 and they had tomato plants starting at $6. They even had hanging baskets with ever bearing strawberries! I just can't say enough great things about Visser's & I can't wait to go back next year for all of my gardening needs! The one thing they don't have... a lot of accessories or trinkets for decorating your garden. They are a true greenhouse... If you want trinkets or decorations - I recommend the Root Seller or Hole's. At the end I was pleasantly surprised to also discover that they had a gift with purchase for every purchase over $25 on the day we visited - a bag of seed potatoes or a small pack of 3 annuals... what a treat! Wearing masks, the gentleman asked my name and reminded me he needed to see some photo ID/Driver's licence when he came back with my order. I really like their line of moon necklaces/bracelets where you pick the phase of the moon on a special date (birth, death, wedding, etc.) and can wear it as jewellery. I also like their sparkly Swarovski crystal bracelets, earrings, and necklaces. Some stuff here for sure can be found elsewhere or online for less but that's not the point of a boutique store. It's getting to go somewhere and browse through various collections to find the perfect gift for someone special. If you're a fan of s'well bottles, they still have a fairly good collection of unique ones and at 20% off you're paying a fair price for the designer s'wells. The THIRD time we were told the price was incorrect I did point out the price on the tag. NO. I did press the point. The woman said the objects were worth more and if I didn't agree, I could leave the items. I left the items. At first we were upset. But then we realized there are so many other places we can go to spend our money.
