The quality of the stuff there was mostly awesome. I didn't see anything that was dying or looked sick. ONE! Just one! Out of all the plants I picked up had signs of spider mites. For a greenhouse, that's damn amazing. The stuff is priced just like any other small greenhouse, but I did get a beautiful coleus for only $6. I left with 3 gorgeous plants and only paid $42. Will definitely be back!

I won a gift certificate to Visser's on the radio, so we made the trek over to Visser's and boy oh boy were we impressed! The quality of their flowers were amazing and everything was displayed so artistically! They had the best flower baskets I have EVER seen - overflowing with lush flowers! The baskets were mostly $35 or 2/$60. They had a sale on bedding plants so we stocked up and brought home the most beautiful Fuschia hanging basket! Their staff were super knowledgeable and helpful, too! We went on the weekend and they had free coffee, water, and donuts. Later in the day they open a little hot dog stand. They had two play areas for children - one inside the green houses and one outside with a large sandbox - such a great idea! And yes, we had a toddler en tote! They have a super friendly dog there by the name of Bear who also helped to entertain my 2 year old. They had phenomenal quality herb and tomoato plants at exellent prices. Herbs were $2.50 and they had tomato plants starting at $6. They even had hanging baskets with ever bearing strawberries! I just can't say enough great things about Visser's & I can't wait to go back next year for all of my gardening needs! The one thing they don't have... a lot of accessories or trinkets for decorating your garden. They are a true greenhouse... If you want trinkets or decorations - I recommend the Root Seller or Hole's. At the end I was pleasantly surprised to also discover that they had a gift with purchase for every purchase over $25 on the day we visited - a bag of seed potatoes or a small pack of 3 annuals... what a treat! They also appeared to have a tree farm for Christmas trees... I can't wait to see their beautiful farm covered in snow!

Gift ideas for all the people in your life and yourself. Then mosey on back into the greenhouse areas where you can find tools, dirt, fertilizer, garden pond chemicals and building supplies. Plus plant pots that will make you want to create the oasis of your dreams. The plants! Can I even skim the surface of the variety and fullness of the plant selection they have. I personally adore looking at the succulents and cacti, but I got kids so... haha I love the beautiful flowers and plant pot stuffers. So many ideas and inspiration. This visit I saw tons of hanging bags of flowers, so trendy! They also had wild and beautiful new flowers I've never heard or seen before. We also saw some of my favourite greens- food! The huge array of pepper plants and tomatoes were just starting to arrive and I loved it all. Then when you head finally to towards the till you go past canned good delights and fresh produce. Plus did I mention you can find a huge array of chicken decor? (Maybe that's just my thing lol) This visit I treated myself to a Japanese Air purifying plant called a Crispy Wave! Top it off with kind staff, they noticed my little one and didn't hesitate to pick a marigold flower for them to take home.

Every time I've shopped here for myself or with others, I leave feeling like I've found more than what I thought I needed (great for any gardener to feel that happiness and this was certainly true on my most recent visit). If you're looking for seeds, plants, ready to eat veggies & fruit, various garden maintenance items, home & garden accessories or decor items, this is a great place to shop. If you're on a time or budget limit, you might need to go in with someone else to help you focus and cover more ground. There's always a lot to look at and if you go often enough, there's even a stamp card to fill up (I won't go into the details, as another yelper explained that really well already). The last visit I'm recalling (in Aug 2021), I noticed they had a decent discount on remaining vegetables, herbs and flowers for your garden. To a point it distracted me from my original mission of buying veggies for my upcoming meals. Well only a little... as I bought some lovely mature herbs of basil, stevia and chives to add to my patio garden. I stocked up on the veggies I went there for but made a note to myself about the cases of BC fruit. I'm writing this review now as I forgot it in drafts and found it again when sharing this location with relatives and friends. Most recently my Aunt picked up potatoes from there (Oct 2021), so the food area is still available as well as all the neat extra things closer to the tills. Parking lot is large enough one wouldn't struggle to find a spot, it's flat and it's paved. The entrance/exit is both flat, making it welcoming for all levels of mobility. The signs could be a bit more strategically placed so one actually goes into the right greenhouse area for plants, types of flowers, veggies & fruit (fruits & veggies were at the far end of the connecting greenhouses but in the past years the veggies & fruit were close to the exit & tills). I also passed a lot of staff in the greenhouse but no one asked me if I was finding what I was looking for, if needed help with anything I was looking at or if I knew that they were closing up soon. It wasn't until I reached the till I realized what time it was with all the staff gathered near the exit waiting for the greenhouse to close. That was an odd feeling but I appreciate the cashier & what I assume was the owner for still taking time to chat with me and make sure I knew about the punch card and had everything I needed. While exiting, I noticed a bunch of very happy greenhouse cats and one very lovely old greenhouse dog. Something about greenhouse that keep animals always makes me smile just a bit more.

We found 5 tubs sitting in the opening with sale signs. Saw two lowes employees heading with a type of forklift down the isle near us. Ask for @ measuring tape the one guy says they are all 17 in deep. My son says well 2 of them say 20 in deep. The other employee handed a measuring tape to us and walked away. so both people gone. I walked over to the isle they were in to get some help. Stating we want to purchase one . But had questions... the one guy gestured the other guy is coming around. I watch and he stops to help a couple that were in the isle. ‍ Ok so we have been standing here 20 min easy. The guy never came... They saw us there. They just choose to ignore us. I stopped a girl employee asking for help. she said what do you want Help with? Just like that she was annoyed I stopped her. She holds her little gun up to the sign and says ' nope there are none.' I asked why are they displaying it then ? And when will you get more. She said ' it doesn't tell her that'... My son was there a week before looking at the screen doors and again no one around to ask questions. He ended up making 2 trips purchasing the door. Also we were looking at tile that week as doing Reno's and the tile guy was helpful but such a lack of product. Even paid for it. When I called the store they said they did not actually have any and it was a product that was recalled. I called the online number and was put on hold for about an hour then when I spoke to a representative they put me on hold and then hung up!! Even though I have just spent 3 hours on this and this was the only day I had people available and I took time off work, I was decent on the phone and was told by the representative he was going to talk with someone to find out when my order would be in and then hung up!! So after all of this I called the store again as I after another hour trying to get through gave up and called the store again. I was told there was no product and I would be refunded. When I explained I bought the product to be used today and was not really out of time. The manager only wanted to sell me a more expensive product and really did not care. I let he know I would be writing a review and left the call. The manager called back just before I sent the review and with a very concerning call I was provided with a product that was going to end up the same price as the one I originally purchased . He was gracious enough to provide a 7 dollar discount on a bar for my now 5 half hours of waisted time for me and the person who was going to help me!! he was pretty condescending about it too!! I just wanted to get the floor in for my son so he had a place to sleep! I picked up the product and the staff who helped me put it in my car were really nice. After three hours of trying to put in the floor and a neighbour who use to professionally install tried too. The product was not installable. Regretfully this product was not the one I had researched as was noted as not being easy to install. I was also told the product had been recalled. I was given a refund with a lot of effort and almost lost money !! The manger I did deal with was really nice and trying. A full day for me and the people trying to help me get the floor in lost. Why would Lowes care they kept saying how busy they were!! I have had to wait weeks now to get someone to help with my son not having a room he can use!! My son coined it well Lowe's is "has no credibility or customer service". Shame on you LOWES. I keep hearing how many false advertisements Lowe's makes I am not the first one!!

Rather than providing the plant grouping in a pot as purchased, they sent a slatted basket full of sphagnum moss. When my recipient watered the plant grouping the water just poured out. Canada Flowers says this is an appropriate substitution. Why anyone would think a basket with holes is a proper vessel for a plant meant to be a long lasting gift is beyond me. Clearly these folks have no idea about how to handle plants.

I will say one thing first off dried flowers are hard to come by these days but this place had a decent selection. They had a few I wasn't even aware you could dry which brought some interesting and unexpected colors to the finished products. Petals for Less is a bit of a smaller store but they do have a decent selection in their cooler. I was also told they do bulk flower orders which is handy for people looking to do their own arrangements at home and save some cash. The staff were nice enough to chat with but I am taking a star off because my friend had asked the young girl at the till if they had any different flowers at the back (we could see some hanging up on racks) and she didn't seem to keen on checking replying with "no I can see from here". Even if she thought they were all the same a courtesy walk to the back to look would have been appreciated especially considering we were the only customers in the store at the time so it's not like there were other people requiring service. Despite that I still think it's a nice store with quality floral arrangements at good prices. I would definitely recommend them over a chain like Safeway floral any day of the week.

The staff had big smile, polite and as helpful as possible. We purchased what we needed and we are very happy with the quality and value.
