Typically not one to write reviews about local gas stations- but this one is always meets my expectations when I stop in. The people that work the kitchen are always nice and have my order ready to go when I stop by (pro tip: order ahead in the app!) The store is kept relatively clean, the cashiers are kind, and it just got the new coffee on tap machines in- which is a cool addition. Definitely one of my favorite QT's in the area and would recommend to others. read more

This QT was the first I ever visited and since I've been popping in here on and off over the years for as long as I remember it's about time for a review. First of all, since this was an OG QT location in the KC metro it had the old school smaller building, and a dated layout that only folks that grew up in KC or lived here more than ten years ago will remember. Back then, when it was new, it was great, but as the quality of gas stations and convenience stores such as QT improved, and competitors moved in, QT as a company started building better stores, with full kitchens, and easier to maneuver filling stations. For a long while as the newer ones moved in, it sort of made this one feel outdated and nowhere near up to par for QT as a brand. I can't remember when they eventually demolished the original building, but they knocked it all down and started over. The layout is completely new now and I think it's totally up to snuff with other locations. The only thing I don't love about this one is the actual filling station part. Because 119th street and Metcalf is such a busy corridor this place is often packed, and it's not the easiest one to maneuver around if you find yourself circling for a spot. I will say though, that they improved on this with the new layout. I think it's just because there's not a ton of real estate to work with here that it is the way it is. It's not so different though than other busy QTs in the metro. If you're in a rush and it's busy just keep going west - there's another one nearby at antioch and college. read more

The small, old store at this address has been demolished and completely replaced with a shiny new store on a larger lot. The congestion and poor pump layout of the old store has been wiped away and replaced with 20 speedy pumps (including auto diesel) in a great layout. This store has the great features of the latest QT stores including great selections of on-the-go foods and drinks. I liked the free air and the friendly, cheerful service. Excellent!!! read more

I love the Quiktrip brand in general, always friendly, clean and convenient. This location is none of those things! It's awkwardly located, crowded and clustered. I would only recommend going here if you're coasting on fumes and it's absolutely necessary to stop. What's odd is that it's in a nice enough area of town but certainly doesn't feel like it. Oh and their restrooms are single rooms unlike most of the Quiktrips around town. I got the joy of waiting nearly ten minutes to enter the chamber of death and would not recommend.. read more

I love to visit this Quik-Trip with my sister! The service is lovely and the parking lot is great. Layout is easy to navigate but then again it's pretty small so that's not surprising haha. one worker I see the most is Reed. He's the BEST. Super nice, and always makes conversation, and you can tell he recognizes you if you are a regular. Great place! read more

As always Quiktrip gets you in and out fast. The place is nice and clean and the staff is friendly. Their breakfast bowls are pretty good if you haven't had them I recommend you give them a try. read more

What can u say about this Qt,well it's bigger than the old store which had been here for many years, better and more gas pumps, easier to get in and out, the old store u felt like a when u went into the store and the parking lot u need a armor truck just to get in, always busy and today still busy, when it was down no gas station around here at all, if u ran out of gas u sol,I know lots of people are thankful for them to open up again read more

Much nicer than the previous building at this location. Only downside (and reason for only 3 stars) is that it is not convenient to get in and out of. With a one way street leading in to the QT, you have to go out of your way a bit to make a u-turn to exit. read more

This place is great considering how many places have reduced service levels during the COVID-19 lock-down. They have all the best condiments for your hot foods, including sauerkraut, which is really kind of a rarity for gas stations, and for the sauces, they do have Tabasco, 4 types of mayonnaise, and Tapatío. read more

QT is a concept that normally gets you in and out. But this place, because of the paucity of gas pumps measured against the sheer popularity of the location, doesn't do that. QT solved this problem on 87th by building a massive new one just down the street and closing the older, smaller one. Would be good to see that happen here too. read more

I love QT! I work out of my car all day and frequently visit nearby QuickTrip's for bathroom breaks and to get drinks, snacks and food. For a gas station it definitely gets five stars from me because it's usually kept pretty clean, the food and drink prices aren't too bad and it has a cafe that you can order food from as well. I also love that I can save at the pump with my Chopper Shopper card from Price Chopper! read more

This Quik Trip has served us well over the past 13 years we have lived in Overland Park. It is close to the Tomahawk Ridge swimming pool and we stopped by for snacks and 32 oz. drinks in the summer. It's close to work and our house, so it's an easy stop for gas. It's close to the repair shop and the Jiffy Lube. Friendly personnel and clean. The only complaint I have is don't ever go here right after work. It's crazy in the parking lot and there is not enough room for the cars that are streaming in. read more

Gas prices are competitive. I wish the parking lot situation was better. It seems like it would be so easy to get into an accident. People are constantly entering and exiting the same way. The adjacent parking lot that is connected to Burger King has so many bumps! I am happy that the potholes are patched up but it is still not a smooth ride. read more

The location isn't the greatest for getting in and out and they only have 8 pumps/4 islands, but other than that it is a QuikTrip. So even if it is a little small it still has all the amenities. read more

Lowest prices in town usually, and the store is pretty good. However, the set up for the actual pumps is so poorly designed that I often find myself giving up and driving further from home to get gas. Disappointing. read more
