He said it would be back on the card in 1 hour. I t is now going on 2 days. This confusion would have never happened is they would have put an out of order sign on the pump I tried to use. When I went back to talk to ask why the money was not yet on my card I saw a car having to change pumps as I did. Too lazy to put up a out of order sign.

They have a fully painted parking lot, which is something I've never seen, bars preventing large vehicles from entering, and the architecture of the building itself is out there. I have only been almost squished about 3 times in the last 10 years. Not bad for Reno. CONVENIENCE: They are no longer open 24 Hours. The Pharmacy window is only open 9:00am to 8pm with a half hour closure for lunch. The rest of the store still cares a huge collection of stuff. Items that apparently are "shoplifting magnets" ie most beauty products are now in locked shelves. ATMOSPHERE There seem to be fewer "dodgy" patrons than in the past. Shelves are better displayed and don't seem as cramed. It is clean and well lit. SERVICE: Still pretty slow, and staff has been drastically reduced. I have had no problems with either the pharmacy or the front checkout, it just takes a while. On the plus side, staff are friendly and professional. My insurance no longer covers prescriptions from Walgreens. I just learned that Walgreens is not affiliated with the large third-party Pharmacy Benefit Manager. So the convenience and location have been major factors in me continuing to shop here.

And speaking of signs and doors, the one thing that cracks me up about this place is another sign on the door, handwritten on a fluorescent piece of cardboard, that simply says, "That Door," along with an arrow pointing to the other door to the right, which is always open. I'm guessing that maybe several people have accidentally slammed into "This Door," or the door the sign is on, or something on that order? Super friendly employees. My only reason for not giving it a 5 star rating is that the prices are slightly inflated in comparison to nearby places like Jackson's or Walgreens, but hey, it's right in middle of the gaming corridor. In addition, there's a surcharge if you use a debit or credit card.

We stopped here Sunday in order to fill up on more wallet draining gas before leaving for California, where gas costs even more on average. The price was a staunch $5.99 (cash) per each gallon here, as seen in the one terrible picture I took through a dirty windshield. As Dave began the arduous task of wiping the windows I went in to buy some gas at the cash price and provisions for the long, grueling journey over the Sierra Nevadas. You don't need me to tell you what might happen if you don't pack enough fountain soda and original flavor bugles just in case... Half of the soda flavors were not working at the machine, and another of the supposedly working ones I chose came out all watery. Thankfully I was able to find a working flavor and was happy to find they had the ice of smol crushed variety. After selecting my snack I went to the register to pay and found the employee friendly enough. This location seemed decently clean, though I did not use the bathroom. Once outside, I noticed Dave had not located any paper towels to wipe the squeegee with so the window cleaning attempt was a bust. There was a windstorm kicking up anyway as we rolled out of there, so methinks either way it would have been a Sisyphean task. I would probably stop here again if I had to, and it is conveniently located next to where we like to stay when we're in the area. Hopefully they fix the soda machine and restock the cleaning stuffs outside.

The slurpee's are always a nice treat and are well priced, but otherwise everything else is just kinda okay. Okay range of items, okay prices, okay food. Nothing special, but nothing really bad either. This particular 7-11 at the very least is good at keeping its building clean with swept and mopped floors and no clutter, which is a plus. Aside from that tho, it's just average. If you need a small something you can stop by, but that's about it.
