These are literally the best Venezuelan arepas (or any arepas for that matter) that I have had outside of Latin America. I absolutely love arepas and the second I saw this place in the Avanti food court I knew I had to get it because I've been craving good Venezuelan arepas rellenas for so long. I'm vegetarian which they had multiple options for and I decided on the 'La Original' arepa with black beans, plantains, and avocado, and I requested for cheese on it as well which they added free of charge. The arepa was everything I could've ever wanted and it didn't fall apart while eating it even though it was super full which was good because that does happen often with poorly made arepas. I also got the sweet fried plantains which had cheese and their special sauce and were so so good. The employees were kind and attentive and the food came out in about 5 minutes because there was pretty much no line. I loved this place and wish I lived in Boulder so I could get it more often. Came to boulder for the first time in awhile with some first timers and saw the Avanti food hall and we decided to try it out! I decided to try Quiero Arepas and it was great! Fresh and didn't take long at all. The sweet plantains were amazing and came with plenty to share! The setting is casual! My arepa was filling and so delicious! Tonight we tried the Arepas at Quiero Arepas who returned to Avanti this spring. We sadly missed them the first time they were here. I had the Original with the add of fresh mozzarella. My husband had the shredded beef, the Pabellon. They were both wonderful and they were every bit as large and beautiful as the pictures on their website menu. I simply could not finish something that large. Next time I will get the more simple Domino and just add plantains. Those were some of the best I have ever had. The corn cake pocket was warm and fresh and grilled, not fried. Their passion fruit juices really refreshing and enhanced the food. It was so gorgeous we started eating as soon as they were ready so I forgot about pictures until they were nearly finished. We love trying new foods, especially when they are as delicious as this! Ordered the Pabellon arepa to eat there and a La Original vegan arepa for our son to have later. Both were very flavorful, but the tasty beef really tantalized our tastebuds. The two of us split the Pabellon and weren't even able to finish it since it was so stuffed with goodies, definitely worth the price. The arepa itself is very yummy and as a bonus, gluten-free since it's made with cornmeal not wheat (yay!). Highly recommend everybody try this unique place out, we certainly will be back again. read more

Tried queiro arepas at the avanti food hall and it was pretty good! There are a couple options that all look pretty yummy and the staff is very nice. The arepa is pretty filling but slightly the expensive side. I like the food hall too there are some nice options there read more

I am always eager to try new dishes and in that front the arepa I ordered was quite good. I ordered the Reina Pepiada. 45 minutes later the arepa was ready. The long wait killed one of the stars. Yes, they were busy but the staff did not seem to be in much of a rush either. The dish was prepared sloppily (yes you can see them make it) and the guasacaca was all over the wrapper and plate. The Denver location makes one of my favorite things to eat in the city. Simple, healthy, delicious, and of consistent high quality. I recommend it everyone. I was expecting the same from Boulder but was really disappointed. The arepa dough was raw. The whole dish was bland, needed salt, and hardly had any sauce. This was after waiting a very long time, so I guess they were rushing to keep up. I really hope they fix these problems, so it can be as awesome as the Denver shop. read more
