    Thai tea blended.
    Jowel G.

This just happened to be close to me while I was taking a drive. I usually order Matcha drinks or strawberry, but today decided to try their Thai tea blended. The drink was average, but it was what you would expect it to taste like, it's fine. I think the menu board just needs to be updated since it seems like there were items that were not available and may have not been available for a while? And the restaurant itself look like it needs to be renovated or the interior needs to be redone because you could not , go in there to have a seat to enjoy your beverage. The person working there seemed nice, not really engaging which is neither here nor there. If In a pinch I don't have a problem coming back here.

I've been going to this Quickly since it's first opened, and so glad that it's still around after all these years. The staff here are so dang friendly! They removed the indoor seating area however there's plenty of tables outside. We usually order the passion fruit green tea or peach green tea and add boba and lychee jelly. The popcorn chicken is a must every.single.time! It's a nostalgic snack and generous serving for $8. Sometimes we wished they offered a plate with rice and some veggies for a nice filling meal as we go about running errands! Regardless we love it here and will always come here when we're in the area!

My wife loves is here cause it's so close for us. You can get some delicious snacks and a quick boba. The prices are very reasonable compared to other boba places and you can adjust ice and sugar level. No dine in or place to sit but we just get it to go. Lots of parking here!

Me giving a Quickly 4 stars? I mean more like 3.5 stars, but it's more likely than you think ! This has been a community staple since this shopping plaza opened and it's a nice cheaper option for boba. I'll be honest, Quickly is my litmus test for whether a boba place is worth going to. If it tastes worst than Quickly (and costs more?) into the 1-2 star category. Absolutely dreadful then. Yeah this place uses lots of powders and their jellies and puddings taste pretty dang artificial, but at least its cheap! I would honestly skip out on the milk teas here and get their fruit teas and readjust for an extremely low sugar level. Snacks are SUPER worth it though. Cheaper than a Ten Ren's or similar boba chain offering food and they give you A LOT. I've never had issues with this Quickly specifically and there's always a ton of parking. This location also has stamp cards too, so take advantage of that.

I always give boba shops 3 stars. Don't mind me. I'm just not impressed with sugar. Not bad though. Good stuff. But nothing special. Service was super cool. Young guys definitely brought the good vibes. Cool music playing in the background. Service was quick and prices are fair. My guests enjoyed it so thanks for the good experience. Keep it up guys.

As their brand name says, it was quick service. We got our drinks fast but the lady made the mistake of putting boba on my milk tea coffee, that's forgiven. She was so apologetic that she offered to give us the drink with boba for free aside from the correct one. But we declined her offer. There's no place to eat inside but there are tables and seats outside. That's why I gave it a 4 star. Hope they would open their dining indoor.

I posted a review before but I just have to say again how great the customer service is here. Update: realized that I wrote it for the wrong location and attached the review

I love this place. Denise is great. They're always super sweet. Sometimes it can get busy and there can be a wait. I only get teas here so it's usually pretty quick. Their milk tea is perfect. (Not watered down like some) Love the Jasmine tea and Thai tea too. Cheaper than most places. Good quality for what you pay. Sometimes they run out of boba later in the evening and obviously aren't going to make anymore because they would end up having to throw boba away. Also there's officially a boba shortage so boba shops not having boba or running out early is going to be a more common thing. It is what it is. Don't forget to tip them!

During our visit, we went with the Chef's Recommendation menu and also added mentaiko buttered scallops. I love the interior of this place. The service was also impeccable. Braised Beef Tongue - Practically melts in your mouth Wagyu Carppacio - This dish had so many textures to it. You have the raw beef carpaccio, the salad with sauce on top adds flavor to it, and finally it has the Lays chips on top to give it some crunchy texture. Japanese Wagyu Sukiyaki - My favorite thing from this evening. They do such a great show of preparing this for you and you get a dipping plate with a raw egg to get all the flavors in this. The sukiyaki sauce in the bowl was super flavorful and strong. Wagyu Short Rib - This definitely tastes better using the spices they give for your meal. It's more on the lean side so it was very easy to eat iWagyu Prime Short Rib - This has a little bit more fat and on the chewier side when ate plain. But with the dipping spices, it definitely brings out the saltiness the meat needs Wagyu Bibimbap - The staff will mix this in front of you and make sure all the ingredients are thoroughly mixed so you can get a little bit of seaweed, wagyu, sauce, and rice in every bite. Of course by the time we got to this, we were way too full so I only got a few bites in before I had to call it and to-go the rest. Mentaiko Buttered Scallops - This was amazingly creamy. However I did make a mistake by adding this to the chef's recommendation. The Chef's Recommendation is curated where everything compliments each other. The mentaiko buttered scallops had their usual strong salty taste and super creamy due to the butter, but it was too strong when added to the Chef's Recommendation that I could barely eat it during the meal. Our next return, I will go with just the chef's recommendation to avoid messing up the balance. But the chef's recommendation was curated very well if you're not sure what to get! The bibimbap and sukiyaki were the chef's kiss

The Wagyu is amazing! We got the A5 sampler and the Wagyu was the best I've ever had! Buttery, melt in your mouth goodness! They cook for you too (only if you get the Japanese Wagyu I believe) so the Wagyu is cooked to perfection. It is a pretty small portion but I get it because the meat is high quality! I came back two more times after and had the A5 Miyazaki which was to die for!!! The same buttery and melt in your mouth goodness!! Obsessed!! Love the presentation of the meat too, makes it feel fancy~ I also went to the other location in Monterey Park and that was amazing too. The menu is different though but still really good! The service was wonderful as they came to check on us multiple times to see if we needed any assistance and I was celebrating my birthday, so they offered a free cheesecake! But if you park around the plaza, just walk to the front, and get to the center of the plaza square, then you will find the restaurant facing you. I went at lunch, not too many people, probably because it is new/not well known. I was able to easily order my food and find plenty of seating. Very convenient for moderate to large size parties I think. the staff members were very nice, and helpful. I ordered the Grilled Steak bowel and it was perfectly made, medium rare, although they did not ask me if I wanted medium rare (that is how I eat my steak). So if you want it more cooked, you probably want to specify it beforehand. The meat was well done and the veggies tasted fresh. The price was very reasonable as well. I came in on a Sunday afternoon around 3pm, and my first impressions walking in was the interior is clean and pleasantly warm. I ordered the creamy mala seafood pasta since it was the most unique dish on the menu. Service was good but nothing special. Creamy mala seafood pasta, 2.5/5: The pasta was inoffensively average. There were some bites that were creamy and some bites that weren't. I honestly thought it could use more cream or butter to add some more richness. The pasta itself was al dente. There wasn't much flavor overall with the dish, and the mala was very mild (for reference, I can handle medium spice levels at other restaurants). The seafood quality was okay for the price. Overall, I thought the ambiance was really nice, but the pasta I ordered was average at best. Maybe I will give this place a 2nd chance and try something else.

I am so glad we chose Hide Out Cafe in Rowland Heights to have our celebration. The food is delicious, the staff is so friendly, and the cafe is so cozy and welcoming. My brother was sponsoring our meal since he couldn't make it, so of course we had to go all out and order two drinks and two main dishes. (Thank you, big brother)! I got the Boba Bear Set $8.50, which comes with a drink and two house-made cookies, and my mom got their Tiramisu Latte $7.00, which is heavy on the coffee liquor, to be honest, but we had fun with it. The drinks are crafted beautifully, and with the open cafe concept, you can see they pay attention to the small details of their crafted drink menu. The house-made cookies that were a part of my Boba Bear Set are not to be forgotten. The cookies are buttery, decadent, and delicious; they are the perfect tea cookies to pair with! I can't wait to go back and try more of their fun drinks and maybe bring a study book the next time. For our main dishes, we shared the Chimi Wagyu & Frites $35.00, and the Fresh Avocado Toast $19.00. We both love eggs so of course we had to get something with eggs in our dish. My mom loved her avocado toast, and they were very generous with the avocado as well on there. The salad is a definite hit with us and included a great dressing on the side. The eggs were cooked perfectly on top of our toast and steak. The frites with my steak were crispy and seasoned well. I also loved the chimi sauce with my steak as well. The portion was huge so we were able to take some back home to enjoy another day. Overall, my mom and I had a great experience and would absolutely come back for another sip of their lattes and try another fun drink on their menu. We left with happy smiles and full stomachs, and can't wait to come back soon.

We finally decided to try Jazz Cat Cafe after always seeing it and talking about trying it, and…read moreoverall it was pretty disappointing. The service itself honestly wasn't bad at all. Since it was our first time there, we asked the waitress for suggestions on what to order and even how everything worked, and she was nice and helpful throughout the visit. One thing that already started the experience off confusing was that we were only given the regular menu with the QR code. Even though the all-you-can-eat option is advertised right at the front, nobody mentioned it to us at all. We only found out because we asked about it ourselves, and then suddenly they brought out a completely separate menu for the AYCE option. After trying it, I definitely don't think it was worth $40 per person. Another frustrating part was how ordering worked. There were three of us doing AYCE, and we asked for three different meats thinking we'd each try different items. Instead, they brought out three full orders of every single meat we mentioned without clarifying first. That immediately created pressure to finish everything because with AYCE you can get charged extra for leftovers. I really think they should ask customers if they mean one order of each item for the table or multiples of every item before bringing that much food out, especially for first-time customers. We tried the chicken, premium angus beef, and lamb. The chicken honestly had almost no flavor at all and felt pointless to even eat. The premium angus beef was decent, and the lamb was probably the best out of the three, but overall everything was still very bland. I don't eat pork, so we went with one of the vegetarian water-based broths since most of the others are pork based, and unfortunately that broth also tasted extremely plain. The sauces also didn't help much. Most of them had a really strong peanut flavor, and only one of the sauces was even decent, but it was still pretty bland overall. I honestly don't even know what any of them were because they just brought out multiple sauces without really explaining them to us. We even asked what we could add to spice things up and were given chili sauce, but somehow it still barely made a difference. I really wanted to like this place too because the food honestly looked great when it came out, but the flavor just didn't match the presentation at all. Their soda machine was also down during our visit, so there were no sodas available. On top of that, the table we were seated at felt really cramped and pushed right against the wall, which made eating uncomfortable. The restroom was another issue. When I went in, it was dirty enough that I had to clean up after someone else just to use it. The only real positive was that the all-you-can-eat option definitely filled us up, so we at least didn't leave hungry. I just wish the food had more flavor and spice because based on the pictures and the way people talk about this place, I expected a lot better.

Overall, the food was excellent, even my Asian parents, who can be pretty critical when it comes to Chinese food, gave most dishes high marks. The crispy noodles had great texture, the West Lake beef soup was comforting and flavorful, and the eggplant portions were generous. The service was what I'd describe as classic Chinese restaurant service. The waitress came across as a little rushed and occasionally seemed slightly annoyed, but she was still attentive and accommodated everything we asked for without any issues. Our food came out at a reasonable pace, and we never felt forgotten or had to chase anyone down. The atmosphere had its own unique charm. The restaurant was playing early-2000s hip-hop while a Chinese gangster drama played on the TV, which made for an unexpectedly entertaining backdrop. The restroom was also clean, which is always appreciated. My only real criticism is the sweet and sour pork. The batter itself was crispy and well executed, but too many of the pieces were mostly breading wrapped around bone with very little meat. It was the one dish I probably wouldn't order again. Even with that one miss, everything else was strong enough that we left very satisfied.

The beef chow mein was good-- while it was lacking some wok hay, the noodles were fried to perfection. Flavor was lacking as well. The beef brisket was tender and the flavor was there but it was slightly tangy/sour-- on the border of doing bad? I've never had this dish taste sour. The typhoon ribs were filled with fried garlic and the ribs came out hot and crispy! The brioche toast with homemade jam and ricotta was also better than I was anticipating. The main star for me was the chicken karaage.
