After spending many frustrating hours in my garage trying to install trailer brakes myself, I…read morefinally decided to call a professional. It was the best decision I could have made. I needed free-backing drum brakes installed on my boat trailer, along with all the wiring. My trailer originally didn't have brakes, and I thought it would be a simple project--but I was completely wrong. I found this company on Google, gave them a call, and just three days later they came out to do the installation. My first impression was excellent. They were friendly, professional, and even cracked a few jokes while explaining exactly what they were going to do and how long the job would take. Their work truck was clean, they were well-organized, and all three technicians were professional and respectful. I left them working in my garage while I went to work, and when I came home a few hours later, everything was finished. The installation was outstanding. My garage was spotless, the brake system looked professionally installed, and all the wiring was neatly hidden inside the trailer frame instead of hanging underneath. The attention to detail really stood out. I've already put a few hundred miles on the trailer and launched my boat several times, and everything has worked flawlessly. I highly recommend them for any trailer brake installation or trailer repair. I'm extremely happy with the quality of their work. Thank you!

I hadn't done it before, so I asked if I could hang out, watch and learn so I at least know what's going on inside there. Well my wheels didn't have nearly enough grease from the factory so it's good I had them come by, they replaced bearings and adjusted brakes, I'm confident in their work and know I'm safe on the road. Legit the kindest people you could ask for, thorough and know their stuff. I ask questions, they can answer them and explain what they're looking at and looking for. There's a reason their reviews are great, this is who you want to take care of your vehicles.

I'm not sure what some of these reviewers are saying, Martin is THE REAL DEAL. Martin is extremely knowledgeable, very pleasant, an all around good guy and even gave me a good deal. No joke. When you try to return something with these online stores they charge you big bucks for the shipping...go to Lomita trailer instead and save time and hassle!! I hired this company to diagnose an issue with my RV slide and paid $200 for the service call…read more Their conclusion was that the motors needed to be replaced, and I was told they would follow up with a quote for parts and labor. Instead, I contacted BAL, the manufacturer of the slide system, directly. BAL recommended a retrofit repair kit as the proper fix, which I purchased myself for $160. That kit includes two new motors. Once I had the OEM-recommended parts, I asked this company for a labor-only quote. After multiple follow-ups, they declined to even provide one, stating their technician "has not had good luck" with these retrofit kits and that they were not comfortable performing the repair. That's the part I find most frustrating. The retrofit kit still involves replacing the same motors they originally diagnosed as failed. If they were not comfortable performing the manufacturer-recommended repair, that should have been disclosed upfront -- before I paid for a diagnosis and spent time sourcing the solution myself. I appreciate their honesty in ultimately admitting their limitations, but that honesty came after the fact, not before. In the end, I paid $200, got no repair, no quote, and no clear path forward until I handled it myself. Future customers should ask upfront whether the technician is experienced with their specific slide system and whether they are willing to quote labor separately before paying for a diagnosis.

GOD BLESS 91BRAVO!…read more This company! I can't even say enough good things about them. I have a difficult vehicle - a 1991 Diesel short school bus. It's hard to find anyone, shop or mobile, who's willing to work on it. But Carlos from 91BRAVO took up the challenge and worked so hard at getting Max (my bus) moving again. He went to multiple auto parts stores searching for the unusual fuel line we needed, and, when it wasn't available, he fabricated it himself. It took some doing to get Max started afterwards (it always does after anything dealing with the fuel supply), and he stuck it out with me when a lot of people would have thought, job over, I'm outta here. Unfortunately there's more to the problem and I'm going to have to go to a shop to repair the larger issue, but Carlos gave me a preliminary diagnosis that was really helpful, and even a reference for a potential shop to take it to. If that wasn't enough - Carlos and the owners of 91 BRAVO ended up giving me a deal that was so sweet I hesitate to talk about it, or everyone will think they're going to get the same treatment! Suffice it to say, these guys were more than negotiable. They were understanding and compassionate, and they put their faith where their money is to work with me. It's truly amazing to find a business that leads with its heart instead of its wallet. Carlos and 91BRAVO are such a blessing!
