We went out to eat in downtown Stillwater and three desired places we went to had wait times over 45 minutes. We ate at QuickFire Pizza because there was zero line and all the tables were open. I ordered the Prosciutto Arugula pizza and it might have been the worst pizza I've ever tasted. Usually, when I see Arugula on a pizza it's an automatic purchase for me (I love that bitter leafy green!). However, the arugula was accompanied by goat cheese, which I love. BUT there was SOOO MUUUUCH goat cheese on this pizza it was inedible. I assumed that goat cheese may accompany mozzarella or something like that, but it wasn't unfortunately. In order to make the pizza edible... all the goat cheese was scraped off the pizza. Maybe you love goat cheese, and what I described above doesn't bother you. Another complaint I have is the crust. I was expecting a Neapolitan pizza-like crust (think punch pizza), but this crust was basically thinner crust dominoes (low-quality pizza). I won't be returning, I think this place tried to be trendy with its offerings and neglected the proper ratios.

Atmosphere was great and comfortable! Food was seriously amazing. Best pizza I have ever had. The sauce tasted homemade and all of the ingredients were high quality. Service was also great and workers were very kind. Please visit here!!

Stopped by for the pizza but will be back for the cheese bread!!! Mmm! So garlicky and cheesy! Marinara sauce was delicious too! Love at first bite!

If you're in the mood for a fantastic slice of pizza, look no further than this place. With friendly customer service and incredibly delicious pizza, I highly recommend this spot!

Quick Burnt Pizza- the chef blamed the burntness (entire bottom crust too) on the toppings. So ridiculous!

They should call it "Quick Burnt Pizza!" Yuck. The pizza chef blamed the 'burntness' on the toppings.

At first blush QuickFire pizza comes across a lot like Punch Pizza, but there are some key differences: 1. It's not a chain. 2. They bring the food to your table. 3. The pizza is pretty awful. We've been here a few times and have tried a number of pizzas. I'm not sure why. The Neapolitan pizza is kind of... thick crust. What? Also, likely burned, and not in a "we meant to do that" way. Looking for survival tips? The Margherita Fino is ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. That's about as good as you're going to get. Its flavor gets old quick, though. If you're lucky you may get to see one of the prep guys accidentally dunk his watch into the mozzarella water, which if nothing else at least has some entertainment value.

Wish the tables were stained and sealed!

The space is small, but so adorable. There is also a nice patio. The cocktail and wine list were very intriguing, so decided to go for a cocktail. I tried the Sanka Ya Dead (mostly because of the name) and it was such a refreshing summer beverage. The food was spectacular. There was a corn appetizer special that I could not pass up. We also were among garlic bread fanatics, so had to get that as well. Both appetizers were delicious. I chose the rigatoni for my main with chicken parm. This was such yummy comfort in a bowl. The chicken parmesan was a giant piece, so you may have some leftover. I wasn't hungry enough to tack on dessert, but others got the olive oil cake and it looked good. I do recommend making a reservation, although bar seating appears to be first come, first serve. Definitely recommend a dinner at Olio.

They also have a couple specials that change every week so you can always try something new. Today we lucked out with delicious crab cakes! We also ordered the focaccia, ziti, risotto, chicken parm rigatoni and olive oil ice cream. Needless to say, we were very full when we left and had plenty of leftovers! It's a small space so definitely try to make a reservation to ensure a seat. I get the impression it's busy most nights!

Before going into detail about the menu and service, I want to emphasize that I was disappointed by the restaurant's ambiance. I expected a more French setting, to do justice to its name, Manger. The walls were bare, the seats uncomfortable, and the chairs looked like church pews. I expected more French decor--at the very least, chairs in that style. Even a little French music, which is so lovely and romantic. The croquettes were delicious. I ordered the French fries and was disappointed--they were mushy and tasteless. The aioli was a nice touch, but the ketchup sauce was completely out of place. What I thought was very well prepared was the Trout Veronique. The flavor of the sauce and the clams was absolutely fantastic. As a connoisseur, I have to commend the selection of excellent French wines. It really bothers me when I go to restaurants that claim to be Italian or French but only have California wines. I have nothing against California, but as connoisseurs, we know there are many more options around the globe. I was amazed by the variety of spirits and the house-made cocktails at this place. The Old Fashioned, prepared by Erin, was absolutely delicious. Whenever I go to a restaurant that serves Crème Brûlée, I try it. I have my own Swiss recipe, and I've been disappointed before. That wasn't the case here. The dessert was prepared with the utmost delicacy and had a perfectly smooth texture. The caramel was executed with the precision of a great chef. The service is very professional, and you feel welcomed by their sincere hospitality. Erin is a true professional. See you next time.
