Saw a sign for the lunch salad and pizza buffet and decided it was worth a shot. We went right after opening on a Friday and it was already nearly full (a great sign, in my opinion that it will be good). Our server, clearly loves her job and was so great with us. She told us tips and tricks for our next visits, including that you can order the salad bar to go (could be nice on a night that cooking doesn't sound fun). Anyhow, the salad was great and so was the pizza. This is a great small spot that shares a parking lot with a gas station and a liquor store. We'll definitely return. read more

One of the best lunch buffets around! Wiseguys is a pretty regular spot for the office to go out to lunch together. It can get busy, as is to be expected, but the small town bar atmosphere with a crowded room creates an unbeatable atmosphere. Went here on a Thursday and sat at the bar. I think the place must be a local hangout since the bartender seemed to know everyone and seemed to pay more attention to them. Overall, not a good experience. I would say this more of a small town bar with a takeout pizza counter. Service was almost nonexistent and the food was subpar. We had to send the Kid's Mac and cheese back as it was reheated, old Kraft. Don't get me wrong, I love Kraft, but it does not reheat well and this was rubbery and not cheesy at all. We also had to ask for menus, silverware, plates, etc.. repeatedly. It seemed like everyone else at WiseGuys knew each other, and we stumbled in somewhere that we weren't really welcome. Stopped at this nice local bar/restaurant for an early dinner. There were a lot of people watching the game(s), eating, and having drinks. Even though they were busy, the service was excellent. They make a good pizza but I would highly recommend not dining in. We recently were in to celebrate a birthday and were crammed into a smaller table then needed because a what I would assume was a regular had verbally reserved a table with the bar tender (throughout our stay they constantly had a smaller group then we did). Service was very minimal, getting refills on our drinks was really tough and the waitress made us feel like an inconvenience. I'm not sure if they were just short waitresses or that was their level of standard but it was less than ideal and I don't plan to dine here any time soon. There are much better options with better service in the area and I will choose to support them. read more

Have always been happy with the pizza, and hogies, however..... pizza still good, but hogie buns are now smaller, and there's been a change of the Italian sausage recipe.....spicier, and more sodium..... I love this place's pizza. It is a mess to eat, but the rich cheese and great crust more than makes up for it. The restaurant is totally small-town Minnesotan, with "good-ol" people drinking and ordering, and a bland yet decent interior of a few arcades and TV's.
