Love PF!! Been getting carry out/delivery for years! I love their pizza, specifically the Charlie if you like meat is awesome! Another tasty one if you like meat and veggies is Top of the Line! Their broasted potatoes are a must with their awesome garlic sour cream too!!! Not sure if I've ever dined in. Service is good on the phone and when I pick up. Place is outdated, but whatever. I do wish they'd improve their website for ordering online though. It doesn't give the descriptions of what each pizza is, just says the name. Then you gotta search on here to find a pic of the menu for descriptions. read more

The new owner originally had kept Cal's original recipes. We stopped in last week to only be disappointed. We had ordered the garbage pizza and pickled cheese curds. The pickled cheese curds were new to the menu. They were just okay. I would not order them again. The pizza, oh my what happened. The crust was one of those frozen store bought with the rim of it like the breads sticks that you dip in cheese. No flavor The sauce was spaghetti sauce. The toppings were sparingly and a new type of sausage and cheese was definitely different. You changed it so the pizza cook doesn't have to have any skills. When we first sat down I asked why it was so empty.......Seems I had already answered my own question. Truly Disappointed What ashame. . read more

Local little pie shop in my neighborhood. They closed for some time, reopened again awhile back. So...i was excited to order cause the potatoes are fire! get em extra crispy and xtra cream sauce (could drink this stuff). Well, they did not disappoint and pizza was so good cooked to perfection. Staff is awesome and order was done right on time. read more

Cal's Pizza Factory - Pizza Near Me - St Paul, Minnesota

See all

This place has awesome food. The mozzarella sticks are massive! And Dennis is always delivering top notch service.

This is not Cal's anymore. Doughy pizza and incompetent staff. . Extremely unprofessional ownership and arrogance. It was a blessing what Cal had , but unfortunately it's no longer read more

Ordered once. The pizza dough was raw. Very raw. Still wet inside. Never ordering again read more

I love this place! The pizza is delicious and I've been multiple times so I know it's consistent! They have these incredible "broasted " potatoes that you absolutely MUST try with their little sour cream type sauce they give you. Last time I went I ordered a root beer and they gave it to me in such a big container!!!! I felt like a king. 1000000/10 recommend. I always order takeout but they also have a dining area that's homey and comfortable looking. The staff there is always super nice and they don't take too long prepping or anything. They also have these super cool world records on their wall. Check it out! read more

I have ate here since I was little and my mom has ate here since she was little along with my dad. They say the interior hasn't changed at all from when they were little, besides a couple pictures. The waitresses are always very nice also so leave a good tip if their nice and you are financially able to. Anyways it is the best pizza I have ever had. read more

This has become our go to pizza spot. We used to go to the other pizza place in town but one night we couldn't get through to order. So we switched and it was the best pizza accident we've ever made. Our standard order is a large pepperoni and sausage pizza and an order of broasted potatoes. Always get the extra side of sour cream. The pizza has a great level of cheese and the sauce is a thicker sauce but isn't heavy. The crust is a little thicker than the usual square cut pizza, but it needs for structural integrity. Also the prices are great and the longest we've waited for pick up was 40 minutes and that was at 530 on a Friday night. read more

I love Cal's Pizza. Every time I visit Minnesota I stop in to have pizza & potatoes. This time I stopped on the way from the airport! The waitresses are so kind & attentive. read more

The best pizza. The prices are average. Short hours but they work. More than likely that's how they keep prices where they are. Old fashioned pizzas that are very tasty. Service is great. Nice crew. read more

from the food to the service this place is the best especially because after Covid so many places went downhill but CALS PIZZA FACTORY didn't the manager is amazingly talented for having this place !! and the prices fbis place is the only place in Minnesota that prices are high and overpriced! the ladies who take the orders are amazing I honestly think he should sell his pizza in the frozen pIzzy department at grocery stores because he deserves soo much more I eat here 2/4 a week for the past 10 months and I'm going to continue too!! KEEP UP THE BUSINESS AND THE GREAT WORK!!! read more

We have visited a couple of times and have been pleasantly surprised. It doesn't look like much from the outside and it is kind of dark inside, but the food is delicious. Pizza is great, lots of choices, the crust is just right -- thin and a little chewy. The homemade potato chips were so awesome! They were the hit of the table. I wish they would have a dip that is tastier than what they use. They call it a seasoned sour cream, maybe it was a fluke that it didn't get made right that day, but it tasted just like plain sour cream. A smidge disappointing. We had the fish, which was plentiful and the pieces were meaty. The menu is diverse enough that you can have multiple eaters or things to share. The service was very good and the food was pretty quick. We will be back again!! read more

Looks a little like a hole in the wall from the outside, but the service was friendly and the pizza was fantastic.

Ingredients on pizza tasted old, stingy on the mozzarella The last two times I ordered.

This is probably the best kept secret of the Twin Cities. The owner, Cal, is always nice and friendly and the food is always hand made and not carbon copied like Domino's or any of the chain places. Even though I'm a runner and eat healthy most of the time, I have to have the broiled potatoes every time I am in the area. read more

Best food, staff, and service. You can't beat Cal's pizza, potatoes, and chicken! Please go, it's the absolute best!

The chicken is the best around. You won't go wrong ordering from the pizza factory. The pizza is fantastic!! Get the potatoes they won't disappoint. Delivering is very good also. read more

Best pizza around by far! The pizza sauce is good with just the right amount of cheese. Must have the fried potato slices with sour cream. They are fabulous! Really nice staff and good service. read more

We went here with a group of friends. One of the couple has eaten here before a few times. So they recommended this place to all of us. As a group of eight we ordered four different pizzas. One was a taco pizza. And I can't remember all the others. I thought the crust was a little thick. It could have been thinner. The flavoring of the pizzas and it's topping was diluted by the crust. A few of us that talked about this restaurant afterwards said the same. So in essence, I would give it an average rating. We travel almost 40 and it's to get here. We could have gone any other place Broadway davanni's Carbone's. But we chose to go here on a recommendation of a friend. Would I go back? Probably not unless I'm nearby. But their potato and ranch dip was the best thing on the menu. I would recommend that highly as you can't get that anywhere else. Service was also outstanding. But the pizza overall was just average. read more

Today is the very first time we've ordered from here & they seriously messed up our $50 delivery order and absolutely refused to fix it! HORRIBLE customer service! Rude & unwilling to correct their mistake. The only good note was that the delivery driver was nice. read more

The Broasted Potato Factory would be an apt name for this place, too, because they're so dang yummy!

This little gem is one of the best kept secrets in the East Metro. Friendly staff and family owned. I know it's "pizza factory" but more than anything I would recommend trying a broasted chicken meal. The chicken is so hot and juicy coming out and cooked to perfection. If that wasn't enough, you get a side of broasted potatoes as well. Basically fresh, soft potato chips with a sour cream based dipping sauce. Word of the wise, order more than one dipping sauce because one is not enough! I bring my friends here whenever I can just to get the chicken and potatoes. Side note, I have nothing against the pizza on the menu if that's what you are looking for. Never had any problems with the pizza and always tastes great, although nothing so special you couldn't get at carbones or something. If you decide to go with the pizza, don't forget the broasted potatoes!!! read more

Still have some of the best broasted potatoes and sour cream dip I've ever had. The pizza is okay. Beware, if you eat in they will not let you take your leftover pizza home in a box. Between a large and small pizza and chicken, our leftovers ended up needing 5 styrofoam take home containers instead of one cardboard pizza box. read more

I am not a fan of this pizza. I like cheese but they overloaded it. It was like they used the cheese to cover up the taste of the whole pizza. Also, it's a bit of a dive. The decor needs to improve. read more

I love their broasted chicken and their broasted potatoes.....try them, you won't be disappointed. The staff is ALWAYS friendly.

Pizza Factory is a hidden gem! I think that they have some of the best pizza in the Twin Cities, and they have a lot of other great food on the menu as well. Delivery area is great too, and the best part is that they deliver until 1am or later on the weekends! Give this one a try- read more

Love love love the Pizza Factory! Growing up in NSP my family frequented the Pizza Factory all the time. The pizza is amazing with a lot of cheese and great sauce. You have to try the broasted potatoes. They are to die for. In recent years I've usually just gotten take out or delivery. I recently dined in the restaurant with my son and realize the inside is filthy. The walls have dirt all over them and grime. It's like the haven't done a good thorough clean in a long time. They definitely need to clean up the restaurant. However, you can't go wrong with their pizza! read more

We just had a 3 toppings pizza and all I'm gonna say is YUM!!!!! Crispy crust, quality ingredients, and lots of cheese. Definitely going back. read more

My son, 8: pizza is very good. The servers are very nice and generous. We had the cheeseburger pizza, it was amazing. I want to come back.

I didn't want the typical Dominos/Pizza Hut/ Papa Johns type of pizza. I wanted something different. Did a google search of pizza places near me and I'm SO glad I came across this place! Pizza was so yummy with the perfect amount of cheese and toppings! Best part is it's within 10 min of my home. Will be back again and again and again! Definitely recommended giving this gem a try! Won't be disappointed! read more

When we went in there was no sign or person to welcome us or let us know if we should sit or wait. After a few awkward minutes we sat ourselves. The general feel of the place lacked cleanliness. When the pizza came, the outer pieces didn't have more than a speck of cheese. The flavor of the overall pizza was equivalent to Jacks frozen pizza. The prices were higher than expected. Our server was a nice gal though. read more

I don't eat pizza so I was really glad to have a fast hot meal delivered near me. I usually order fried chicken or shrimp for delivery. Due to health reasons I can't get to the stores as much as I should. I first noticed a decline in chicken when it tasted like fish. I stopped ordering for a couple of years. I again, placed an order and noticed the chicken tasted like that frozen brand in the grocery stores. The shrimp was better but Cal's seemed to moved to ordering the smallest size shrimp they could and increasing the prices. Stopped ordering for a while. Again, I broke down and ordered one piece of chicken and 14 pieces of shrimp. It was the worse I've ever had. The chicken was fatty - I had to re-cook it to make it eatable. The shrimp was greasy, old and I was hungry so I only ate a few pieces - threw out the rest. When you call to complain they act as if you are calling to scam them. I explained that I wanted nothing. Just to let them know their food is increasingly bad and will effect their bottom line. However, I've learned my lesson. I'm not giving them any more chances. No one deserves to pay for food like that. Better to go hungry and wait to get to the store. read more

I always thought they had the best pizza and potatoes around. Tonight they weren't ready, we had to wait an additional half hour. They apologized for being late. I was okay with it, things happen, but the potatoes were hard, dry and no flavor and pizza was cold, so why did we have to wait...to receive bad food? I will never go back! read more

This place is the hidden gem of pizza places in Minnesota. The pizza is awesome! The broasted potatoes are like no other!

We moved to Woodbury 3 years ago and have been searching for a homey, friendly, neighborhood maw and paw joint. Our search is over!!! The pizza is all we were looking for and oh yah their pizza is the absolute best. Friendly courteous staff, quick service and the fried potatoes with some sort of special sour cream dipping sauce really sets them apart. We will make them our regular pizza joint. read more

Horrible service! I live exactly 700 ft from their location and I ordered deliver due to the fact I hurt my knee. They said it would take an hour to deliver? After waiting 1 hour and 30-minutes they could and said the driver could not figure out how to find my home due to construction. There are signs in front of their business, behind and to the side that give the detour on how to get to my house, which would have taken the driver 3-minutes. After complaining about this the cook who spoke very poor English said he was not sending his driver? This is the worst experience I've ever had with a delivery service. Oh, there food is sub par to begin with but it was late so I thought I'd give them another chance. Long story short, called Domino and they knew about the construction as got me my pizza in 30 minutes, and they are 5-miles away. Stay away from this horrible and disrespectful business who could care less about your business! read more

fantastic, local-owned, small business. The staff was great. The young man that waited on us had good suggestions for types of pizza, was engaging and seemed to really like his job. the Pizza was great, nothing crazy or wild about the ingredients, just good and honest food. I did say nothing crazy, one of our entrees was pizza with sauerkraut and that too was fantastic. Nothing fancy, nothing crazy, just an awesome neighborhood eatery. read more

It is so good. I remember working at the gas station in the same strip mall when I was a teenager and remember the pizza being out of this world. Fast forward 20 years and I recently stopped there when I was in town for business. It was as good as I remember back then. I had a small sausage pizza and the crust was amazing. it has a taste to it that I can't describe except that it is delicious. I am so glad that I went back and I cannot wait to get back to that area to be able to have another! read more

We ordered a large pizza with a few toppings and a spaghetti dinner (includes salad and bread). The pizza was fine- nothing special, but almost entirely uncut. So after doing that ourselves, I dug into the spaghetti- canned sauce and very obviously frozen (and microwaved to heat) meatballs. The 'salad' consisted of a cup of bagged iceberg lettuce and way too much ranch dressing on top- not separate. Had I been in the restaurant I would've said something immediately for sure but as it was delivery, I'll just review and not order again. read more
