It took me years to accept the concept that the very thin crust pizza, Cut into little squares…read more(come on really, pizza is suppose to be cut into "Slices"), was a standard Minnesota offering at many non-national chains and at Bars. Seems from most of my travels if you want thin crust you have to specially order it that way. In the upper mid west you typically have to special order anything other than Thin Crust, from these local Staples such as Carbone's. The one thing that is great about Carbone's pizza is the great flavors that comes from all the other ingredients outside of the crust. The home made signature sauce and sometimes surprising ingredients and toppings make for a wonderful tongue tingling palette. I recommend the "Garbage" pizza , which has Green Olives, Black Olives, Green Peppers, Mushrooms, Onions, Canadian Bacon, Sausage, Pepperoni, and plenty of cheese. Also you can never go wrong with a Hot Sandwich. Most of Carbone's are small family run restaurants, this particular one has six booths for seating and can be fairly cramped for dining in. The majority of business here is Take-Out and Delivery, so the small seating area is not really an issue. So if you still have not given these Minnesota pizza staples a chance, I really would recommend giving them a shot just don't think of it as you normal NY Slice, think of it as more of a specialty.

I am reviewing a gas station - loud and proud! Casey's is a Midwest gas station and convenience…read morestore, and nothing is more convenient than fresh grab-and-go pizza slices. I was having some IN.FREAKING.TENSE pizza cravings but also feeling super lazy (ok yes I was hungover), so I scoured Yelp for some cheap, easy, quality pizza. I also didn't want to buy an entire pizza because I knew I'd just eat it all myself in one sitting and hate myself after. So Casey's came up in my Yelp search, and I went in skeptically. Turns out, they have pizza and donuts that are made in-house! The slice of pepperoni was fresh out of the oven, and had a chewy bubbly crust with melty cheese that looked like something a teenage mutant ninja turtle would eat. I loved the chocolate covered french cruller and I didn't even get a chance to try my boyfriend's apple turnover. And so I grabbed a menu (they offer a full menu of delivery and takeout!) and the next damn day I ordered buffalo chicken wings to go with my pizza slices. Sadly, they gave me boneless instead of bone-in, and no dipping sauce, but they were still very tasty. Lastly, the employees are some of the nicest people around!

After I successfully placed a deliver order on the app, it took over an hour and my pizza was made incorrectly. All the other times I've had pizza from other Casey's locations it has been excellent. I will give this one another chance if my money is refunded. Hopefully someone responds next week.

Anonymous July 9, 2026…read more It is wonderful to see how Leela on 8 has expanded their menu and services since they first opened, and the new outdoor seating area looks great. My friend and I enjoyed lunch inside yesterday, on Wednesday, because it was quite humid; the young woman who served us was so friendly and pleasant, which made for a wonderful experience. However, when I returned for an outdoor happy hour this Thursday afternoon with a couple of friends, the service was quite different. While our server completed his tasks, there was a noticeable sense of distraction and tension that made the experience feel less welcoming. I understand that life outside of work can sometimes carry over, but maintaining a consistent, professional level of service really makes a difference. I hope this feedback is helpful, as I've truly enjoyed my other visits.

A coworker recommended I try Sarpino's after hearing that I enjoy speciality pizzas. After looking…read moreover the menu on a lazy, rainy Saturday - I decided to pull the trigger and try them out. First things first - I love the menu. There are so many options that all sound great. The hardest part is choosing just one! So... I didn't. I ordered three personal pan size pizzas - specifically the Hot Honey, Santa Fe, and the Super Taco. I'm really glad I didn't just choose one. I have leftovers for another day and I truly loved all of them. I threw some jalapeños on the Hot Honey and the spice/sweet combination was phenomenal. I dipped the Santa Fe in the chipotle ranch and could barely stop myself from finishing the whole pizza. The Super Taco was a little bit hard to eat without making a mess due to the toppings - but well worth the challenge. I haven't had a good taco pizza in quite awhile and this one was tasty. Sounds like I'll be taking recommendations from this coworker more often because Sarpino's is the bomb. I'd definitely eat here over many of the other generic pizza joints in town. Good luck deciding on your own pizza!

We ordered four different kinds of pizza, and let me tell you, there were some clear winners! My favorite was the Baked Potato Pizza. (It literally tastes just like what it sounds like) It genuinely felt like I was eating a baked potato, and they even serve sour cream on the side. It was sooo good! My second favorite was the Hulapeno. This one was a little more traditional, but the hot honey took it to another level! The combination was SO good. We also tried The Bear, which is basically an all meat pizza, and the Elote, which ended up being my third favorite. It had sweet corn, Tajin, and a delicious sauce on top. Such a good combination! And let's not forget the buffalo wings. They were sooo good and definitely not your typical buffalo wings. You could tell the sauce was made in house, and they were packed with flavor! Overall, everything was delicious, and the waitress was soo awesome too! Great food and great service. I'll definitely be coming back the next time I visit Minnesota!
