I chose to go with the chicken fajita sandwich today on a mini mealhada roll. It was slamming to every bit so delicious. The chicken they use is very meaty and the Taraji seasoning makes everything on point. They also have a sit down area. The table has an umbrella, which is very dope. My daughter and I went here for dinner. After ordering, I went to pay and asked the cashier if I could put my phone number in for points; she told me I couldn't because it was "broken". There was a guy behind me who appeared to be Spanish and he asked to put his number in for points and she allowed him to do it without a problem. The lady making our food seemed kind of upset we were there before her friends and rushed our food out. My sandwich was covered in mayonnaise and my daughter's was covered in vinaigrette; the outside of the bread of both was covered, as well and the food was inedible. This is a small but very good Quick Check. It is very well run. It must have a good turnover though because the bread is always fresh and the cold cuts and toppings are too. I come at least two times more often 3 a week and I never gotten wilted or brown lettuce or floppy tomatoes. The sandwich's are always tasty and made well. The coffee in the urns is always hot so again it must be the turnover. In fact when it isn't and they need to brew it, the staff is mindful and they ask for your cup and they fill it before the entire urn is ready since they know you're waiting. read more

Have been going to this quick chek for years. Good gas prices and good coffee always get my attention. The location is right on Route 46 so very convenient if you use the highway a lot. The service is pretty good on most days. I used to go to Costco for gas but Costco is always such a zoo. I found that post covid my desire to deal with a packed parking lot or a crowded store has diminished. So Quick Chek fills my gas needs & their good coffee is an awesome bonus. read more

I went into Quick Check Thursday evening at about 9:50 pm. I brought two sandwiches to the register to make my payment. Most of the registers were for cards only. I wanted to use cash so I tried to use the machine that took cash. For some reason it was not operating. I asked the young girl who was standing near the other cash machine if I could use it. She was standing there talking and being very rude. She was speaking to the cashier behind the register. She wanted me to disappear since she was too busy talking to the cashier. Begrudgingly the young, rude girl moved to the side to allow me to use the register. I felt like I was interrupting an important conversation between the cashier and this girl by wanting to purchase something. Is this how a customer is treated? One star only. read more

Always quick gas service with plenty of pumps open. Inside is nice as they have been stocked with TP, paper towels, febreeze and water ever since the start of the pandemic. On a lucky day you might get some santizer wipes too. Glad they converted to self service check out and you can break 100s. There seems to be a new guy there and he watches you like a hawk. If you make one mistake, he rushes over and makes you start all over again and stares you down. I dont know if hes corporate or not but hes very intimidating. Ive walked out when I see him there. I am upset and disappointed with Quick Chek of Lodi NJ. I brought a sandwich when I got home and started eating. There was a long piece of black hair on my sandwich. Employees who make food should be wearing HAIR NET. I went to return the sandwich for a Refund. The two supervisors didn't learn how to process a REFUND. I was told can I come back. They asked me if I wanted another sandwich I said hell no. I wouldn't be ordering any food from Quick Chek. I was also told no one wants to work at Quick Chek. This is an okay location, with decent gas prices. It's one of the only gas stations on this part of route 46 that's charged you the same price for cash and credit...that being said, half of the pumps are routinely closed. For the last 4 weekends they have placed cones in from fo the pumps. I asked an attendant about it today and he said it was like that when he came for his shift. It opened maybe 2-3 years ago so for the pumps to stop working that fast is surprising? I don't know if they have a problem or if QuickChek just decided to close them for another reason. Walked in to grab a bite. Had to hit the bathroom and it was disgusting. Empty paper rolls and mess everywhere. Just did not feel comfortable grabbing something to eat in a place where they keep cleanliness as such a low priority. Makes you think about the quality of food, so they sell expired things (not saying they do) but without cleanliness - I don't want to take a chance. I rarely find a bad QuickChek anyway so this is as good as they come. I have bought plenty of sandwiches here and they are always made to order with some quality cuts. It is a bit quicker then most others as well. They have some quick check out systems as well. In conclusion if you are in the area and want some quick lunch this is the place for you. read more

I don't enjoy giving this Quick Chek one star, because I have been there several times before for gas and the young gas attendants were super friendly. Overall, the inside is new and cleanish, but the food area in back is unkempt. Several of the soup vessels were open and/or empty with dried soup all over the place. This review is based on the quality of food and horrible service at the food counter (I asked if they had bags to put my macaroni and cheese and order of fries that I paid for at the register) and was ignored by the TWO workers. This was @7:00 pm on September 14, 2018 order 524. Fine, I got my own bag from the self check register where I just paid for the food. I got home, and opened my LARGE macaroni and cheese (see photo). I paid over four dollars for literally 5 spoonfuls of pasta. WAWA's large is 5x this portion. I called the store and asked for a manager. The woman who answered the phone said I could speak to her and I asked her if she was a manager. She stumbled around for a bit saying "no, sort of" and asked that I tell her why I was calling. I told her I paid for a LARGE mac n cheese and that the serving was pitiful. She went on to explain something about the containers being changed and that she gave me an extra spoonful because I said something as if we had spoken in store. I informed her that wasn't me and to not presume to know me. Clearly, someone complained while still in store. She continued to explain they were still using the same containers and are trained to put in 4 or 5 scoops. Mine looked like spoons! I explained that I understand that in today's economy, serving sizes have gone down and prices have gone up. However, for a large mac & cheese, the portion size seems more like a child's portion. I told her I couldn't imagine what the small looks like. This person was huffy and then transferred me to another huffy female who is supposedly a manager and rude. I was told to come back when I could because I wasn't going back out (during the week after work) to speak with Jimmy. Neither of these managers identified themselves and pushed me onto this manager Jimmy that I may go see during the week. My first time here and I am impressed. They have an amazing large assortment of coffees. I did a self-serve checkout which is a super cool idea for a convenience store. Parking lot is sufficiently large to allow for many vehicles to be in and out quickly. The property was clean and no litter visible unlike many other stores in this category which are often strewn with trash. I love this place. It's my daily lunch break stop to pick up a delicious treat when work has me pissed as hell over something. It's clean. It's new. The people that work there are delightful (Raymond always has a smile on his face - he's the best), and I can even sit in the small seating area and eat my lunch if I feel like picking up a full sandwich. I like the specialty hot chocolate flavors (chocolate lava cake, peppermint chocolate, etc...) and the reese's PB cup cookies that are soft and fresh. If you are looking for something healthier though, they have all kinds of yogurts, fruit cups, and some veggie snack options. And, if I don't feel like talking to anyone that day -- I can use the self checkout area which is fast and convenient. Clean, well lit, friendly staff, small but decent snack/household section. Lots of coffee and creamer options. No lines at the cashier, and you can self-checkout. The little known surprise that makes this a hidden gem is the sandwich & soup counter. Fresh subs and sandwiches for $3-$6 that taste better than Subway and Blimpies (but not as good as Quiznos). I would give this place 5 stars but every time I go there, there is a group of people sitting outside at the tables smoking and hanging out. The outside smells horrible (smoke from cigarettes and one person smokies a cigar) there are people who are a part of this group usually 5 to ten people and sometimes even more working on their cars in the parking lot. Someone was working on a Dodge Ram pickup there this evening while the rest of the group were sitting at the tables smoking and hanging out. New store on Route 46 East. This was my first visit and although the food looked very inviting I can only review the coffee. The store was very clean, lots of sandwiches and a deli all looked very good although I didn't check out the ice cream. The Chocolate-Macadamia coffee was to die for. The aroma in the car was the best air freshener I could have asked for. First I'm a chocoholic next I'm a coffeeholic and this coffee hit all the right notes. I will be back. read more

A very nice newer store with gas pumps out front. This store reminds me of the WaWa's in the Jersey Shore area....which is a good thing, because I really love WaWa. They have the usual; coffee area, sandwich deli counter, grab and go items (not as good as WaWa's offerings) and snacks, beverages, newspapers etc. Friendly cashier, too. For some reason I could not "check in" here. I have to find out why the Yelp listing did not show up. I had the same problem with the Quick Check in Garfield. PS. I am always stopping here right before work since I work a few stores up the road. They have a great deli there! I always order them on the screen and get my food within minutes. Today I just tried their new Mac and cheese bowls with buffalo chicken and buffalo sauce and it was really good! The mac and cheese has a great creamy home style taste. I usually order a 6 inch sandwich or grab a soup. They are usually pretty fresh but I get them in the am so that maybe why. I have tried the breakfast here too and it's pretty good! The only food I wasn't a fan of was the salads they make on the spot. I just didn't like it for whatever reason. The coffee selection here is pretty great as well. The stuff in the store is a little overpriced, except the deli items! I also love how I can self check out because I'm usually in a rush to work and would rather move at my own pace rather then someone else's....
