I ordered the orange chicken, which wasn't quite my favorite, but the combination lo mein was amazing and definitely the standout dish. The customer service was friendly and welcoming, which always makes a difference. The inside of the restaurant was nice, clean, and very cute -- a great spot to sit down for a casual meal or a little date. I have been a long-time customer of Quick Wok and have always considered it some of the best Chinese food around. Unfortunately, our most recent order was very disappointing. I ordered my usual the Szschaun Beef, and it was terrible--mostly onions, very little meat, and absolutely no flavor or spice. I didn't even mention my disappointment at first. So I just went to pick up and pay for an order my son placed by phone and I was told that the card was declined. I tried to show the man at the window the approval notice I received and he wouldn't even look at it and told me he didn't know what I was gonna do about it cuz they didn't get the money !!! This weekend we ended up at Quick Wok in Crowley, and were pleasantly surprised! We shared a mix plate appetizer that had a little of everything, and everyone loved the spring rolls My daughter ordered lo mein, my husband ordered orange chicken, I ordered Mongolian beef, and my son ordered chicken noodle soup and shrimp fried rice (Lord help me afford to feed this kid in his teenage years )! Hubby wasn't crazy about the orange chicken, which was marked spicy on the menu and I can attest was not spicy at all. Other than that our entrees were all great! You could tell everything was freshly made to order. Tons of food for the money, too. It was a pretty popular restaurant, a ton of people were picking up food to go. I don't know if I'd drive the 30 minutes to get Chinese food again, when there is so much available in our area, but if you're in Crowley/S Fort Worth, it's worth a try! read more

Where do I begin? The crispy noodles were anything but. The egg drop soup was good and came with a bag of crispy noodles, also not crispy. The wonton soup had only one wonton, no green onions, pork pieces or anything other than broth. The egg foo young was bland as were the egg rolls. They were laying on cabbage to soak up grease, I guess. The fried rice was okay. I ordered using Yelp and it apparently instructed the Grub Hub driver to leave our food on the sidewalk outside our door and text me afterwards. Didn't even bother to ring the bell. Yum. I placed an online order and picked up through the drive thru, there is a very limited parking lot so going inside wasn't really an option. This is your standard American quick Chinese! Not that anyone had any doubt. My partner and I placed an online order on our way home from Dallas, once we were about 20 minutes away from the restaurant. Upon arrival we waited another 5-10 minutes for the order to be ready. Not a huge deal! But the restaurant itself was VERY cold. Maybe the heater was off/doesn't work - but it was below 30 outside, so a warm space to wait in would've been nice. It's no wonder nobody was dining in. We ordered orange chicken, mushroom beef, fried rice, one egg roll, and one crab rangoon. The chicken was super sweet and saucy, definitely orange in flavor. Not super crispy anymore after a 15 minute drive home, but still tasty and as expected. Fried rice was super standard, no complaints. My partner gave a big thumbs up for the egg roll, my crab rangoon was pretty subpar but it might've been better if eaten right away! I'd have to try again. As for the mushroom beef, our bag didn't include it. Instead, we received a chicken dish - maybe even mushroom chicken. It had a darker sauce, carrots, mushrooms, white onions, and green onions. It actually was very tasty, so we didn't end up missing the mushroom beef. I just wish I knew what dish it was so we could order it again! After being ill I was debating on the egg drop or wonton soup, needless to say I wish I would have made my own wonton soup. The excessive amount of dough was like eating dumplings in tasteless chicken broth with a few pieces of green onion. I was not only highly disappointed but my children were as well. The fried rice was not even cooked all the way or it was burnt to a hardening as you can see some of the pieces are hard. The orange chicken had great presentation but was tasteless. I tasted breading and unseasoned chicken. The Honey Glazed Chicken was the same as the Orange Chicken, tasteless Then the Mung Pao ordered was also missing the Kung to the Pao- there was absolutely no spice and 80% peanuts! The Lo-Mein was definitely good so it was the first thing gone Unfortunately for myself (back to the wonton soup- I had to settle for a cup of Ramen noodles I had in the pantry because it was inedible. They are Liars and cannot fill a phone order properly!! Alex the employee from Quick Wok was the person we verbally via phone placed the ordered. Grub Hub was contacted to deliver the food. A woman answered the phone; We asked to speak to the manager who handed the phone to Alex. Alex said he was the manager we explained the issue then Alex he said he wasn't the manager. We said ok we asked again to speak to the manager who was the woman we originally answered the phone. Alex claimed he never took our order.. yet the manager remembers him asking questions about our order before it was placed. The manager then said Alex was going to call us back to correct our order. Serving size is awesome and food is amazing. Crab Rangoon: GREAT! You actually can definitely taste the crab in this. Some restaurants I've tried taste just like cream cheese, but this was awesome. I also ordered a side of hot chili oil sauce for the side, and it was awesome together! Not too spicy but a good enough kick. Lo mein: Amazing, living up to my expectations. I ordered just the pint and it was larger than I expected. Very filling and tasty. Sweet and sour chicken, side of fried rice: Getting full now! I definitely have leftovers for tomorrow. I detected fresh ginger and tumeric in it, and while it did brighten the flavor, it's just not my preference. I do like ginger, just not in egg drop soup. Someone else might love it though. The crab rangoons were pretty good despite not having a lot of crab (imitation). The flavor is pretty mellow, and they were a good combination of creamy and crunchy. I ditched the sauce it came with and used my own sweet chili sauce on them and it went really well with them. The curry chicken was bomb. I ordered it as is and it was pleasantly spicy. Spicer than other places when ordered as is. I like spicy, so I thought it was great, but if you don't, ask for it to be mild. The flavors were exactly what I wanted. Tonight my husband and I stayed in Fort Worth & we tried Quick Wok because they delivered. I ordered the BBQ Ribs and Chicken egg foo young with fried rice, my husband had Tofu with veggies in Curry with White rice. Our delivery driver got stuck behind a train for 30 minutes but it was not a big deal because our food was still steaming hot, almost too hot to eat!
