As someone who's relatively new to this whole process I had a massive amount of questions about how everything worked and they were able to answer everything reliably and in a way I understood. I'm updating my review in light of new information. I've since had a second VIN verifier try to verify the same car, and the DMV rejected that one too. I've had to get a 3rd one directly from the DMV themselves, and all 3 forms marked the same checkbox I originally thought was the issue. So at this point I have to accept that someone at the DMV just has it out for me. They increased the price after my husband called asking questions. They already knew the address however stated it was because of the area. Then day of the confirmed appointment they call me & ask me to move it to 3 hours before my scheduled appointment. I did not want to miss this appointment because it had been a major issue to organize things with them so I had to leave work to rush out there. Also driver got a little lost but not much so I was able to drive to get him but that means he was late when they were pushing for even earlier. Still with all this headache they did not honor the price they quoted me. This should have been an easy transaction but it would have been faster just to drive to the dmv. Lesson learned. I asked to speak with someone in management and they told me he's not available and they can not tell me when he will be available to talk too, so here we are with the review and I am only touching on some of the complications we had with this company. read more

I purchased a horse trailer in TX back in June and when my license plates didn't arrive I contacted DMV Sacramento. I was told that the dealership would need to cancel my registration and resubmit and this could take up to 60 days. Unfortunately I needed to travel out of state with my trailer on the 16th. Part of the discrepancy was when purchasing any out of state vehicle it must obtain a VIN verification certificate.
