Austin is littered with road hazards. Shrapnel, rocks, popped tires, you name it. You drive regularly, you're bound to hit them from time to time. That said, my tire had a flat late one night as a result of being punctured by one of these hazards. Tire was chewed up all the way down to the spoke. At night, you can only count the number of services available for help on one hand. You get a real sense that you're truly alone out there. A lot of them charge an insane gob of money at night stretching into the thousands to both repair the tire AND do the towing. So I parked the vehicle in a safe place until the next morning. Called Quick Tow and they sent Mando out to me in less than half an hour. Was plenty of time to get me to my car dealer for a scheduled servicing appointment. The company definitely lives up to the name :-)! Mando is excellent. Quick and professional turnaround. Took me all the way to the dealer for the repair and was pretty good company during the drive. My only issue WITH Quick Tow (and NOT against Mando at all), is that they probably should not do tipping. If anything, they should probably build the gratuity into the cost of the tow, rather than risk a professional rift between both the service, the employee, and the customer. My BMW had an electrical issue and I needed a fast tow with a flatbed truck as I was stalled on a moderately busy road. I tried arranging a tow through my insurance company but they couldn't get anyone out for several hours. I called Quick Tow and the dispatcher (Alex) said they could get someone to me in 30 minutes. Exactly on time, Ricky showed up and did a great job getting the car on the trailer (I have very low clearance in the front and he was very careful). When I contacted the insurance company for re-imbursement, they needed a more detailed invoice than originally provided. I called Quick tow on Saturday morning and spoke with Mondo, who provided exactly what I needed within a few minutes. Everyone I dealt with was courteous and professional. So refreshing to deal with a company who provides exactly what they promised. I would highly recommend them. read more

Jimmy and Alex seriously came to the rescue! We had been trying for an hour to get my car jumped (in 95° Texas heat) and had pretty much given up. I was just about to start Googling tow truck companies when these two coincidentally showed up to a restaurant for lunch in the same shopping center I was stranded at. They were super kind and helpful- they even tested my battery for me and gave it one last try to jump start it from their truck. I feel very lucky that they were the ones who showed up. -I was stuck on the side of the road in the rain last night (7-15) my truck would not turn over for nothing. I called a few places, and I didn't like the prices or the way some of the folks awnserd the phone... I called Quick Tow and talked to Nick, who was super nice and calm, he came and got me himself. I had a flat tire and tried to change it, but my jack didn't support the weight of my car. I figured I would need to be towed, but they came out within 30 minutes AND Changed my tire for me. The owner came out with an extra jack and on top of that, they also put everything away nice and neatly. They say the offer "old fashioned service" and they really do live up to it. Had to use these guys at 10:30 at night and they showed up before i could even get a hot dog from the store! I was broke down in Buda and called them and they showed up with in 15min seriously! Not only did he have a great towing rate and great skill, but he also recommended a great place to take my truck to get the transmission fixed! Phillip was wonderful! I had a cracked radiator so I couldn't drive my car and needed it moved. He was very kind and gave me a recommendation for his favorite no-fluff body shop in my area!
