Parking spot reminder (take with you/don't lose)!
    Mike S.

I had been going to that other major covered lot (FP) for the past several years but their prices have really escalated ($9/day)! Quick Park, on the other hand, is a very reasonable $5.49/day so I decided to try them again. I had a 12n departure and rolled in at 11a (love TIA!). There was no gate attendant so I just took the self-service ticket. Note: at FP there is always an attendant and they will also direct you to a row where there is/are known spaces available. After I got my ticket the gate opened and I drove in, passing a shuttle van that had a driver. I caught her eye to be sure she'd chase me down. I drove up/down 3 rows before finding an open spot. The spaces are maybe 6-8 inches narrower than over at FP but not necessarily "tight." Although, if you had a Suburban or full-sized quad cab you'd definitely risk banging doors and vice versa. The overhead roof cover appears to be about the same size as over at FP, that is to say, adequate to fully shade your vehicle. By the time I had my two little bags unloaded, the shuttle I saw upon entering, was pulling up behind my car. She promptly provided me with a "space" ticket and reminded me to give it to the driver upon my return. I placed it in my wallet so that I could quickly find it 5 days later. The ride from any of the area parking lots is less than 5 minutes (did I mention I love our TIA!). Alas, my QP shuttle didn't have a/c working so the front windows were down. Luckily it was only mid-90s and a short drive. My return got delayed and I arrived (along with about 60-70 other passengers) around 1am. The second I got off of the plane I called QP. A driver answered and said he was already curbside (yay)! All was pleasantly uneventful after that. I do need to raise a cautionary flag about some of the other reviews here. There appears to be a legitimate concern about getting a shuttle during late night departures or arrivals. These appear to stem from the unmanned office/gate which has caused several reviewers to become stranded or nearly missing their flights. That is inexcusable. I wish QP would address that - either by explaining here on Yelp or by posting warnings about staffing/hours at the gate itself. For an establishment that unabashedly advertises "24 hours/day" there has to be, at minimum, 24 hour live customer service. Having 24 hour attendant shifts would not only prevent these potential disasters but would likely eliminate the (many) vehicle break-ins and gasoline thefts reported at here. At minimum, add a few 2K cameras as deterrents - they are incredibly inexpensive nowadays.

Don't park here! One of the drivers of the shuttle will falsely accuse you of not paying and block your vehicle and become aggressive. Later, the same driver after being proven wrong couldn't even apologize and became verbally aggressive, using vulgar and curse words. Beware he is very unstable and inappropriate.

They made a friend walk to the airport because his service dog was not allowed on their shuttle.

Excellent place to park your car. Shuttle drivers were nice and courteous. The shuttles were quick! I will definitely use again.

I am always amazed at the efficiency and the great moods of the employees here. I don't park anywhere else when going out of town.

I parked for 2 weeks at QPQS and Sayid was the driver on my pick-up from the Tucson airport.

When…read moreI paid $700 for my parking permit, I did not know that I would need to move my car for EVERY game day and specific school events. I can only move my car during certain times of that day to a different parking lot, but to make matters worse, I am only allowed to move back to my original parking lot between 11 pm and 7 am the next business day. Most of the time I need get up at the buttcrack of dawn to move my car back before I get a ticket. One day, I had forgotten there was a basketball game at night because I did not receive a reminder email stating that I needed to move my car. However, I did get a warning email that told me I had 10 minutes to move my car before I got either a ticket or towed. I was on the other side of Tucson, and it would take me 30 minutes to even get to my car. I was FREAKING OUT. At the bottom of that email, it said that if I need to make accommodations, then I should call the provided number. I called and told them I would need an additional 20 minutes to move my car, but that I was already on my way. They said I would be fine and that they would put something on my account that says I am on my way. So I was feeling good until I got to my car and saw the ticket sitting on my windshield. I immediately moved my car and called them, but they told me that I would've gotten a ticket no matter what because I was late. The office is SO dumb. They made it seem like I was lying when I said they told me it was okay. They should make all their rules clear and tell people before they even buy their permit that they need to move their car because the University of Arizona doesn't have student-specific parking.

We have about a hundred different parking lots and garages, and the ONLY one they could fit me in was the farthest one 20 minute walk from my dorm? They say they're completely full, yet they have space to relocate my entire garage on game days and events. Not to mention, on game days, you have to move your car between 2 and 4 pm that day-they don't care if you have class-and it has to be back at that garage between 11 pm THAT NIGHT and 7 am the next day. So either I have to move it back after 11 because I'm not allowed in the garage before that, and walk across campus alone after dark, or wake up at 6 am to move my car because otherwise I will be fined or TOWED, which has happened before because no one cared that I was sick and couldn't move my car at 6 in the freaking morning. Not to mention, I've called once or twice asking about an update, because I was told my situation was temporary and they would get me in somewhere else-a lie- and the people were SO rude. Acting like I'm ignorant for calling because I would get an email about getting off the waitlist. Like maybe I just wanted to call and check because it's been three months and I still have to walk 20 minutes across campus just to get to my car when I could name at least 8 closer lots and garages that always have open spots?? Like I hate this office wow.
