Nice looking car wash, but does not accept debit or credit cards, even though they offer it

This is my third visit to this car wash and probably my last. The past 2 visits the automatic touchless car wash misses entire sections of the lower part of a car all the way around. The facility does have an RV washing station and a pet washing station that I have not used. The machines also require exact change if you are paying by cash and the rates are not an even amount ($7, $9, etc.), so do not expect to get change back or plan to use a card. read more

I loved the dog wash station! It was so convenient and easy to use! It was super clean and only took 10 minutes to wash my dog!

In short, they beat me out of a buck. i put in 10$. The wash was 9$. The machine said that it was out of change and to see the attendant. I got the wash found the attendant and she said that the machine said exact change. It did actually, in the corner of a very busy screen, but it also said to see the attendant. I showed her the receipt and she says they're not giving out change. It's only a buck, but it's going to cost them my business from here on out. read more

This Do It Yourself dog wash station is awesome. It is located on the side of a old fashioned car wash. There are four stations with foot ramps, wash tubs, blow dryer, and water showers. You pay with a credit card and the minutes are displayed on the screen of how long you have been washing your pups. It's like a car wash selector dial. You can choose dog soap, rinse, oatmeal conditioner, super dryer, low dryer, and a couple more choices. I used the soap and oatmeal conditioner and my pups smelled terrific and the hair didn't mat up and was super silky. The blow dryer has plenty of power and in no time my puppy was dry and looking great. 10 minutes is all it took and it came out to $10 dollars. It's a clean place no dog hair from other dogs after their wash and the attendant who cares for the place is super super nice. She calls herself granny and loves animals. There are not many do it yourself places but this one is a gem. read more

I have been going here for years, and have overlooked the small problems that happen from time to time, But Friday the car wash ripped my factory antenna from the roof. it is not removable. I contacted the office and told them about the situation, they basically told me it was my problem. Not a very smart thing to say when there is a new, modern car wash right up the road. I've been renting storage and used to put my motor home here for years and new ownership I think with new management definitely has gone down . When I had three sites rented I use to get free car washes Rv washes for free and slowly those were taken away . My storage has been broken into twice , I don't believe anything was stolen but you still feel violated . Only reason why I give it a five star is because of a valuable employee James , who I think needs to get promoted and just keep Him there as a manager . Been awhile since I found someone who works there actually cares about the company and the customers . Whenever I called there before all they can say no we don't do that anymore under new ownership . Thanks now my dog hates me. Was looking forward to making this place my regular dog wash station due to the $6 price. Unfortunately, now I feel ripped off. They have it posted on their website that the water is warm for the dogs comfort. The water was ice cold, the "shampoo" was non existent (very diluted). I thought atleast my dog would get a warm blow dry after, but nope also cold air. I would have asked for a refund due to the false adverting but nobody was even there. read more

I wanted to use the dog wash and called to make sure it was available because I was driving 30 minutes from Benson. It was available, but the water was not warm like the internet described. It was cold and the temperature outside was 57 degrees. And when I went to use the automatic car wash it wouldn't take my metal credit card, it was too thick. Stopped here when I was on this side of town and went through the automatic car wash. I paid for the best car wash they had....... ($14.00!). I pulled into the car wash, and it LOOKED impressive from inside the car as it was happening.....but when my Rav 4 was finished....many places had not been cleaned. It seemed like the sensors thought my car was.......bigger? The windshield as well as the sides of my car were grazed by the brush, but there were areas that were totally missed. I would NOT pay $14.00 for this car wash again......and they have cheaper car wash options, but if my car isn't clean....what is the point. I ended up at home....detailing my car, and I cleaned it....after it was...washed. :-( read more

Great place to quickly wash and vacuum your car! While here I walked over to the dog wash area to look at the prices, the set up is nice and that's about it. The cleanliness is horrendous: clumps of old wet dog hair, and the smell was overwhelming. I'm not sure I'd want to bring my dog here for the sake of saving money. :/ read more

FREQUENTED BY THIEVES! QUOTE FROM RICK THE MANAGER: "WE HAVE NO SECURITY" The Jeep I have in storage there had the wheels and tires stolen. It was left with the axles on the ground. When I approached the management, he was extremely unhelpful. No apologies, no help whatsoever, just the "Not responsible for stolen items" routine. The night watchman commented that it "was strange" that the vehicle was on the ground like that and it had been like that "at least a month". I suppose no one thought maybe to give me a call when they see something "strange" like OBVIOUS THEFT. The manager guy also let me know that there are precisely 0 security cameras in the storage area or on the gate. The wheels and tires in question are 37" in diameter. These are not tires you simply throw over a fence. To move 5 of them, you would need a pickup. (This is a verbatim hone conversation between the manager (Rick) and me.) Me: "So you basically have no security at all." Rick: "That's correct sir, we have no security." So either the thieves are fellow customers with gate access or someone with gate access lets thieves in. read more

These kids now days have everything. I had to wash my dog in the bathtub, uphill both ways. Really, this is a great idea. I'd never even heard of it till I was visiting friends and family in the area. It's $5 for 10 minutes and just like when you wash your car it's up to you how you spend your minutes. Well not exactly like the car, the car doesn't try to bite or sit on the hose. You don't have to give the car treats to get it to into the wash area. And most importantly the car doesn't shake stinky wet dog water all over you during and after the wash. But that's all on the dog. The owners have done a good job of partitioning the areas where up to 8 dogs can be washed at a time with 2 at each of the four areas. I'm just thinking a little more space might be good. even my little niece had a hard time getting on the other side of the dog to help keep her (the dog) settled. read more

I give this place a two star mainly for the automated car wash machine. This is the second time it missed the entire right side of car. I tried moving over and it still missed it. I think a sensor problem maybe. But also a two for when you leave it drips water all over the middle of your car. That's not very spot free. I do like the self wash area and the dog wash options, but the automated wash is never going to get me again. The Rita Ranch car and dog wash is a great place to clean your car yourself or you can use the automatic car wash. The dog was area is nice a roomy for your biggest dog. There are lots of setting to clean you pet from just simple soap to cleaning from a skunk spray. After cleaning your pet you can use the blower (reverse vacuum) to dry it off. As a friendly tip you can use the leash that is there so your pet does not take off. When cleaning your dog, if you rub their ears while you are cleaning them, they will not shake water all over you. read more

Not recommended & overpriced. The automatic car wash is way too expensive for the result; it didn't clean my truck well. My truck was only slightly dusty when I came through this morning for the first time and purchased the ultimate combo wash which is the best one they sell. I figured I would try the best they offer. I was severely disappointed. Very little of the soap made it on the sides of my truck, with the majority on the top. The wheel cleaner spun but was 10 inches away from my wheels so it cleaned nothing. The spinning brushes did a poor job of "finding" the outline of my truck. They scrubbed the heck out my windshield and roof, barely skimmed most of my truck, completely missed the back. The rinsing left soap streaking down the sides, the air blower dripped water and soap as it passed. The final result was my truck looked worse AFTER the wash than before I came. I was stuck with hard water spots and dried soap all over the place. I have gone to other automatic washes before and this is the worse result I've received. The fact that it costs $14 is a joke. Overall, I recommend that if you're willing to pay $10+ for a car wash, go somewhere else and get a real wash. I know I'm going to have to spend at least a hour re-cleaning my truck to remove the mess this wash left. read more

My families been coming here for over 20 years! Always clean, affordable and equipment works properly. There is an automatic car wash on site for patrons who prefer not to do it themselves. Dog wash is always available and is great for large breeds. Lot is always clean and well lit when it gets dark. Staff available on premesis when UHaul is open. Thank you! read more

I honestly used this car wash often enough and never had an issue anytime I've used them. HOWEVER, on 6/8 I went there to use the vacuum and get a deluxe automatic wash because the next day my vehicle had to be ready to be shipped overseas. They are required to be super clean and knowing this I chose the local car wash I more than familiar with. Everything was going fine until I was about halfway through my automatic wash. The shammees were spinning and doing there thing as they usually do. When they began to come forward the equipment malfunctioned/must not have read where my roof line was and the matchine pushed my truck forward hard enough to make me think someone rear ended me. I didn't see anything wrong until the drier blew the roof garnish off the roof hannging on by the third brake light. When it was finished I pulled around and parked to find that the push I felt had ripped off the panel on the back of my cab with enough force to snap it off the roof where it was bolted. Now it was after 530 and I assumed that no one was there in the office. I got the owners phone number off the door by the change maker and called him. About 20 minutes later I get a call from someone still in the office, not the owner, and we have a talk about what happened. He pulled up the footage and we both saw clearly what had happened. Obviously he couldn't do anything about it at that point and assured me that I would get a call from the manager the next day. The next day came and never got a phone call. I left a message that night telling them I expected to get a phone call. Finally on 6/10 I get a call front the manager Rick. Says that he reviewed the footage and said they were willing to pay up to $150 of the cost for the new part. That's great. Told them I'd find the least costly version of what I needed and would get back to him. Fast forward to the conditions I was given for the compensation; I needed to purchase the part then submit a receipt and then wait for a check to be cut. Which isn't unreasonable. However I told them that I am moving in a week and a half and don't have that option available to me and that ultimately if I had to push I would seek council. The next email was several paragraphs long, more or less them redacting their offer to help pay for the damage done to my vehicle. Basically telling me that it's my fault because my vehicle is older and is more susceptible to the Arizona climate to deteriorate my part that was ripped off. Telling me that if I had used the manual wash bay this wouldn't have happened. I probably spent about $20 at their facility that day and it will be the last I ever will. I understand they have signs up that says use at your own risk, but when they have a machine that obviously malfunctions and don't even have the decency to work with my situation other than by the text book, that's just bad business. read more

If I could give negative stars I would. I made a reservation for RV storage. Received an email with the agreement (also took my money) and it said would receive the gate code within 30 minutes and it was also waiting on their side to sign agreement. Waited but did not receive. It states that it is open so I call. No answer. Decide to hitch up my camper and just go to the office to see about the gate code. Arrive and there is a hand written note on the door saying they are closed. At this point I have wasted time hitching up, driving and now am waiting to see if maybe they are at lunch. Waited another 45 minutes. Call again. Decide to leave (2 hours of my day wasted). Call the next day- no answer. Leave another message/email. I am upset at this point and have to find an alternative storage place. Send an email saying to cancel and give me back my money. On 3rd day get an email saying canceled but he doesn't know how to refund my money- he suggests contacting my bank. Bank cannot cancel transaction as they have already taken the money out. I email back and say that if they cannot refund me, that they need to send me the gate code. He says he will not proceed- again I tell him to then return my money. This business is run horribly- the open hours are not what they have advertised. They close when they want and don't have coverage at the office to help clients making reservations. How can you tell someone you don't know how to credit a card back? I asked to speak to a manager and was ignored. They canceled contract before they signed it so it isn't a binding contract and they are just stealing my money. I have had to file a dispute through my bank. read more

The only car wash in the Vail/Rita ranch area. This place has gone downhill in a heart beat. The drive thru wash doesn't clean your vehicle at all. The vacuums are old, the spray has low water pressure. read more

Very disappointed. Had my trailer stolen from here. Trailer had a lock on it and must of been cut off. The front security gate wasn't working for many days. The "security " of having cameras was not helpful, due to the fact of them not wanting to review them and not knowing how to use them. Management was not helpful during this. read more

No that we've settled in the Vail Community, we are fortunate to find Rita Ranch Storage right in our back yard. The staff, property and facilities are extremely well kept, neatly organized with professional service. We have our storage there, wash our cars there, rented and returned U-Hauls there and even though we don't have a dog . . . our kids LOVE watching families wash their pets on site as well. This place is amazing! I came here to rent an appliance dolly to move a gun safe. The nice older gentleman said I could just go ahead and "borrow" it for 24hrs. After he helped me load it into my vehicle I got my car washed. I brought the dolly back about 4 hours later. This time I brought my husband's filthy truck to get a car wash. When the lovely woman who runs the automatic car wash saw me scrubbing at the mud on my husband's truck she kindly asked me to move to the washing doc where she gave me 12 mins to use the dock to rinse and scrub the truck for free!!! After such great service I will always come here for all my car wash/uhaul needs!!! read more

This is my go-to place when I need my car washed. When it's a simple wash, I use the automatic car wash, which gets the job done just fine. I've only ever come an employee once, while I was waiting in line for the automatic wash. He pre-washed my truck with a hose and a brush while I was waiting in line, then he entered a code in the machine to give me a 50% discount. That was pretty awesome! For bigger jobs (when my car is REALLY dirty), I utilize the self serve bays. I like the different options available in the self-serve bays. I was there today and spent a good amount of time getting my Tacoma spic and span. I also really appreciate the ability to use my credit card, since I'm one of those that never carries cash. I also use the dog wash for my pitbull. She doesn't like it too much (She's blind and can't see her surroundings), but it's very convenient for us! He don't have a bathtub at home and our yard is mostly dirt so using a hose is messy. The dog wash is great! read more

I have had problems with the same vacuum twice I put money in and it didn't turn on at all I had a problem with another vacuum the vacuum had less action than my own vacuum at home I should have save the money stayed home and use my own my son-in-law use the automatic carwash and his car came out dirtier than an answered when you called to let them know they didn't want to help he had to go in there in person they pretended that he never called whenever I have tried to find someone to help there's never anyone around when this car wash first open it was a nice place everything worked and good customer service now they have added so many services it is not getting maintain and possibly understaffed plus the last time I was there the garbage cans are overflowing don't spend any money there it's not worth it hopefully the owners will read the reviews and get their act together. read more

Love this place. They have a lot of services and the employees are really nice. I wash my car pretty regularly there (pro-tip - get a coupon book from them and save 50%), rented a uhaul trailer, returned a covered trailer (and they actually saved me money!), and use their vacuums/air regularly. It always seems clean to me and since it's in Rita Ranch, it's not in busy area - which is a bonus for me too. read more

HORRABLE! They screwed up on my U-Haul rental and then proceeded to treat me like crap. Then they put me on U-hauls E-Alert System because I was pissed off at them for not having the correct truck and sending me on a wild goose chase for a truck. Take your business elsewhere. So call me skeptical but I needed to wash my to yorkies and I just dread at the thought of spending another 2 hours as I washed one then tried to drive one which is incredibly hard and then wash the other and follow the same process. So I decided to try out the Rita Ranch dog wash I figured for 10 bucks it was probably worth it. To my surprise it was the best $10 I have ever spent. I was able to wash both dogs condition them and dry them within a half an hour. There was no one else there which made it easy I can see if there was other dogs there it might get a little tricky. The only thing that I wish they would have had to make everything just absolutely perfect was disposable brushes that you could purchase for a dollar or two. So do all you sceptics out there it really is worth $10 and the dogs are much happier and then not running around my wood floors with wet feet. read more
