Beautiful RV resort. Landscaped, fresh, clean yards with the coolest of fruit trees and dog friendly, kid friendly, adult friendly!!!! There was a place to do what you do for everyone in this park. Laundry facilities were a 10 out of 10!!! The park is located beside 3 large rv parts & supplies, and 20 min from a National Park. It is a little more pricey than your run of the mill park but you get what you pay for with this one!

This was just an overnight stop for us, but we would've been happy to spend a longer time here! What a gem! Friendly staff, large park, lots of trees, spacious gravel sites, very clean grounds and amenities, 2 pools, an onsite restaurant and a well stocked registration area. They have several upgrade options to some sites...a double deck patio, outdoor kitchen, fire place...choose the level you want! They also have sites that are covered, which is super deluxe. I did read a review that said the area was sketchy, but it felt very safe to us. I didn't see anything funky outside or inside the park. It did look like it's in an older section of town, but don't hesitate to stay here! We loved it.

We stayed here for 2 nights while visiting our grandson at U of A. Staff is so friendly, park is clean, they have activities and socials. Plus their own restaurant. We will definitely be back. My granddaughter who came with us already chose her preferred site. You can't go wrong staying here

y Days KOA Tucson has been a great stay for our family while my husband was in Tucson for work for a week. We were grateful to have this koa and not have to do an air bnb or hotel. There was several standout features that made it a highly recommended RV park. Here are some of the highlights: 1. BBQ Rush Restaurant: The park is home to the BBQ Rush restaurant, which serves delicious food. The menu offers a variety of options from bbq to INDIAN FOOD sayyy what???? I was pleasantly shocked to see Indian food on an RV park barbecue menu! and it was GOOD! the flavors are outstanding. Whether you're a meat lover or prefer vegetarian dishes, Indian, Mexican, or American food they have you covered! They also have great happy hour specials. they also deliver food to the pool and your campsite which is a wonderful feature! Mary was our server the whole time and she was the sweetest waitress you could ever ask for. She was definitely a highlight for us on our stay here. 2. Pool and Hot Tub: Lazy Days KOA Tucson features a nice pool and hot tub area. The pool is clean and well-maintained, providing a refreshing escape from the heat. The hot tub is perfect for relaxing and unwinding after a long day! Great waterfall feature and the restaurant delivers food and drinks to the pool as well as to your campsite. 3. Spacious and Well-Designed Sites: The park offers a variety of spacious and well-designed sites. There are plenty of options to choose from, and each site provides a comfortable and enjoyable camping experience a lot of the sites have their own dog gate area and dog park on the site. There are covered campsites and there are also cabins if you don't have a trailer. The park itself is large and beautifully landscaped, with lots of fruit trees. creating a serene and peaceful environment. 4. Activities for Kids: Families with kids will appreciate the abundance of activities available at Lazy Days KOA Tucson. From playgrounds to organized games and events, there is always something fun for the little ones to enjoy. The park staff goes above and beyond to ensure that children have a memorable and fun-filled stay. Every day there is a new activity, usually multiple from craft events to ice cream, socials and wine socials for the adults. 5. Cleanliness and Maintenance: Lazy Days KOA Tucson takes great pride in its cleanliness and maintenance. The staff keep the park in excellent condition. The facilities are very clean 6. Safety and Security: The park is gated, and access is limited to guests only, providing a sense of safety and security. The park staff is attentive and friendly, always available to assist with any concerns or questions. We will be back for work in the next couple weeks and definitely staying here again very nice RV park !

Shout out to Jeff and Haley for their extra special attention and care! This is such a lovely camp with citrus trees at nearly every site.

This park gave us a lot to write about with several pros and also cons. Pros, clean park, with spacious spot if you pay for the larger spots, clean bathroom and shower, with many through the park. Many Activities throughout out the parks to keep kids busy, along with a Mexican restaurant and bar. The bar has beer and basic cocktail. I asked the bartender for an old fashioned and a Manhattan and she started at me blankly. The fruit trees throughout the park are great and provide great shade. You're also allowed to pick the fruit for free. The grapefruits were delicious. Many attractions close by. If you're into whiskey and pizza,Batch and Jamies are a must. Now the cons, Definitely not loctated in the best side of Tucson, several homeless encampments around. One gate has security in the evening, but the other gate has no security and is open all night and day, the bathrooms do not have codes. Too many long term stay with not so friendly people. It's pet friendly and we also own a dog, but too many dogs barking at all hours with them tied up outside. The speed limits with in the park are only a suggestion, when even the employees on golf carts are zooming around. Having an end premium lot we got to see a lot of it. If you're a light sleeper, bring ear plugs, highway, railroad and air traffic noise especially in the early morning is definitely something to consider. So if you're a family, that can sleep through anything, this is the place for you to enjoy. If you're a retired couple who is use to more quiet this may be off putting. But overall it a solid 4 stars. They definitely try.

Wow! This is not just camping, it's glamping!! Located within 20 minutes of downtown Tucson, saguaro national park, and a load of national parks and monuments, this is a great place to stop for R&R. This is not the type of camping I did as a kid. This campground includes a wonderful reception center with the restaurant and bar on site. Food can be ordered from the restaurant and it will be delivered to your site. Daily activities are available for folks staying here. While we were here, we participated in an ice cream, social, and looking forward to high stakes bingo and even the pancake breakfast that's held on Sunday mornings. A mini putt putt golf course is spread throughout the complex and there are two swimming pools and hot tubs available for visitors. The complex includes a state of the art fitness center, multiple laundry, facilities, showers, and a number of amenities I can't even recall at the moment! While a little pricier than a standard campground this is certainly a destination for a number of snowbirds. The complex is exceptionally secure and amazingly maintained. There are special programs for kids on the site as well. Pets are allowed to so be prepared for barking dogs occasionally throughout the campground. Throughout the day groundskeepers roam the area in golf carts ready to attend to your every need. Garbage is picked up from site, maintenance is available as needed, and are they are available to answer any questions you might have. If you forgot something, the folks at the front desk can help. Wood can be ordered and delivered to site. Propane refills are available on the property. RV supply stores are in abundance around the area. RV repairs will even come to your site if necessary. Each of the campsites is unique. There are a number of campsites that include sundecks, televisions, and fire pits. Others include fenced in pet areas, and there are even some that include outdoor kitchens and fireplaces. Fruit trees are planted throughout the complex, and guests are encouraged to come get fruit, picking equipment for the main building and help themselves to produce daily! All of the roads are well paved, which allows for running, and or walking within the security of the complex. Nearby bike trails allow those who want to wander further a nice and safe area to access Bicycle rentals, golf cart, rentals, and a number of other services are available from the Campground headquarters. It is a rather large campground with several hundred hundred campsites that accommodate a range from tents to high-end RV homes. Cabin rentals are also available on the property although they are limited. Remember that this is in an urban destination, so ambient noise from roads, trains, planes, etc. should be expected. This is an exceptionally popular destinations so reservations in advance are required and strongly encouraged. Most of the negative reviews I've seen regarding this location is that individuals wanting to extend their stay and could not which just goes to show how in demand this location is in you should plan accordingly.

My husband and I don't even know where to start...we arrived and there was karaoke in the restaurant. We were given a schedule of activities! We were only staying the one night, so we didn't even get a chance to go in the heated pool with the mountains in the background and a waterfall off to the side. The sites are solar powered! Really nice campground. We needed to shower to rush to a dinner reservation, so we used theirs as we didn't have time to heat our water. Gorgeous slate flooring and walls, amazing water pressure, and a shelf that is actually big enough for your toiletries. About a dozen washers and a dozen dryers. We did 3 loads! In between the laundry and bathrooms is a really nice fitness center. When we checked out we asked where the closest place to get propane is...apparently it is onsite! Best KOA ever! Truly a resort.

We enjoyed our stay here. It has some poor history but there is a new owner who came in from CA…read morearound 2019 (I think?) and has been working hard to move out the slobs and move in more RVers. They updated the landscaping and have a clean pool and decent laundry room. I'd say its best for seasonal to full-time RVers, because it's not fully equipped for short term. Oh, but I heard they are trying to accommodate short-term and over night stays better. For month to month, we payed all city utilities (water, sewer, electricity), which comes out to around $128-285 depending on the weather. We conserve as much as possible and will freeze or sweat a bit to save on cost. Those numbers were during winter season (Nov - April). If you have Good Sam they offer a great discount. We paid around $360 per month for the lot space (that's in addition to utilities). If you plan to be seasonal or long-term, I recommend signing up for online payment otherwise you're paying for a money order every month (I believe personal checks are also welcome). There is NO free Wi-Fi. When we moved in, our site was originally designed for another trailer, and the internet hasn't been hooked up for 20 years. We had to go down to Cox and buy internet and the process was long. Now that it's all hooked up, it should be easier for the next trailer or rv. We pay $49.99/mo. for internet, but we found out that this place is considered "a low income area" and the city offers a deal where you only have to pay $19.99. I don't remember the site and I should've taken advantage of that offer. We also had to set up a mail box with USPS, which was a process but worth it. They use those metal community mailboxes so no need to actually purchase a box. The lot size is amazing. I don't think my pictures show how much space you actually get and I hope the park never makes them smaller. If we were full-timers I could easily put up a dog fence on one side of my Rv and have another yard in the back (or front). The neighbors tend to walk in between the spaces but we haven't had any issues with theft. As a matter of fact, none of our crap has ever been messed with. The park is generally safe. I walked my dog every morning and evening and never had issues with any person. However, I did get attacked by a dog and got pretty scratched up. Shit happens, I'm cool. I purchase a small can of pepper spray and keep it with me during every walk now. There are many dogs on-site, mostly pit-bulls, but most of them are incredibly friendly and well tied up. On that note, if you hate the sound of barking dogs all day long, this may not be your place. Whenever sirens pass by, the neighborhood of dogs scream and howl until it passes. It's funny, but can get annoying. The neighbors are decent but mostly keep to themselves. Almost every car that drives through bumps their music. Sometimes you just got to join them. If you're looking for a community, I did Not find it here. My neighbors were nice and pleasant when approached but I there that was it. They mostly kept to themselves. I think the more RVers there are the community will become more and more friendly. On that note, it is pretty kid friendly. My son found a few friends here. Sheila (front desk person) and her brother were my favorite people. They were above and beyond and I felt like I could just talk to them forever, and so we did! I hope you find your place here.

However, if you're looking for a nice RV park for your friends and family that come to visit, this place is pretty large and well maintained. There is a Junior Olympic pool, a small gym in an upstairs location (that is a little rudimentary and needs some updates especially on their equipment), And to laundromat facilities that will be updated soon updated soon. The outside is gated and the inside has ample room for walking. There's even tennis courts that are used often for pickle ball or biachi ball. I especially like the office and community center area. They are quite large and according to the manager they have music events with dancing and a full-size stage performance. There's even exercise classes, crafts and a professional kitchen and more. Starting at the middle of October 2021 there should be some events scheduled so it will be interesting to see what those will be. Overall, a very friendly and easy-going environment. There are spaces for RV parking and there are park models for purchase or rent. They do fill up quickly; so if you or your family are interested give them a call and reserve.

My wife and I just completed a 20+ day stay at Crazy Horse RV Park in Tucson, AZ! I did not due my…read moredue diligence when I picked this park for our AZ stay; I now wish I had! The park has a very friendly staff, great big laundry and shower rooms. We found the park a bit worn but not trashed up. We found the staff attentive when we had questions. They were also willing to reach out to the owner when they were unable to provide an answer. All in all, our stay was somewhat positive due to the park being cost affective. The park itself is very basic, once we arrived, I realized I had not done my usual research and was somewhat underwhelmed! The first disappointment was the complete lack of Wi-Fi available at our site. There were clear instructions on the parks information sheet that detailed the correct process to follow if we had difficulty logging on. The troubleshooting process was cumbersome and the final result after ten days of trying to rectify the problem was a complete stay with "NO" Wi-Fi. Via the park's instructions, I had to call the park's Internet Provider which took a day to receive a call back. The provider's representative told me that the park's router that was to provide a signal to our location in the park was inoperative and I would have to call the park's staff. I did that and was told it would be checked later that day. Two days later I called again and was told I would have to speak to the owner. A day later the owner called me and told me that he would personally look into the router and call me by 3:00pm that afternoon. I called the office at 4:30pm when I did not hear back from the owner and was told he would call me in the morning. Two days later I called again, again no call back from the owner. At this time, we are now almost ten days into our stay and I gave up. If you are a dog/pet owner this is your park! We are not pet owners so this also made our stay uncomfortable. I had to ask our neighbor who had his pet on a 30' line to please keep his dog on his side of his RV. His pet was tied to his door rail and had enough line to come all the way around his RV onto our lot and up to our picnic table. Of the 20+ days we stayed at the park there was only one morning that I was not awakened early (before 7:00am) by barking dogs and only two nights that I was not awakened between 11:00pm and midnight, again by barking dogs. The park is also not in the best area of Tucson which might have also impacted the higher level of barking. Our spot in the park was near the street which most likely added to the noise level. If you are considering staying at Crazy Horse you might be wise to ask for a location deeper into the park. Knowing what I know now I would have definitely asked for a location on the total opposite side of the park. We did like the spot we were in that placed us under the park's solar panels. This provided a roof over our location which did not completely shield us from the weather but did offer some protection. I would think these spaces would be a must if one is planning a summertime stay. I wish it wasn't so, but our negatives experiences outweighed our positives with regard to our stay. If I had done better research some of these deficiencies might have come to light before we made our reservation and we might have chosen not to stay at the park. The solar panel roof option was a plus, the friendly staff was a plus as well as the restrooms and the big laundry. The pet hair in the laundry was a bit of a disappointment but not a deal breaker. We had to search for a washer and dryer that DID Not require us to clean out the pet hair before we used the machines. The rather large number of dogs all around us was a real pain as was the advertising of the nonexistent Wi-Fi service. I would most likely have taken the lack of Wi-Fi in stride if I had not been told to expect a "call-back" from the owner. If I am told to expect a call, I will expect a call, that is just common courtesy! If you are a pet owner and do not mind a higher-than-normal noise ratio, if you are not looking for a resort vibe, and you are looking for a good low rate with no Wi-Fi this is your place. If you are expecting a bit more and you need Wi-Fi, you may wish to look down the road.
