This was our first stop on a very long road trip (CA to FL). We decided to stop in Tucson AZ for 2 nights to visit with friends and check out a few of the local places they either work at or recommend. This was the best rated RV park close to their home and in town. I felt safe as it was gated, and told it's not the best part of town. The office staff was very kind, helpful and accommodating. Our road trips are usually not planned and figure it out as we go. So we were able to book same day and they also offered a Good Sam discount. There aren't trees and no grass, but we didn't bring our pups on this trip, so it wasn't a big deal. The sites are a good size, back in and pull through sites are available. I am sure this won't be the first time we will stay, and I think we want to see more that AZ has to offer. If you are in the Tucson area and looking for a RV park, do check this one out if you want to be close to the night life. read more

I don't usually give a park 5 stars but the park is clean, quiet (there is an occasional train) and the pull-thru site spaces are 75' long and wide enough to handle huge rigs like my 65' train. Parks that can't handle us are still out there & since there are more & more of us who are full timers, and have larger rigs because this is our home, park owners should wake up & smell the coffee! While this is a small park, it is well laid out and every site is full service. There are 23 sites, 5 are pull through. There is a game room, laundry, and a small pool. There are currently no showers but the owners are trying to get permission from the city to add them. The couple who own the park (Todd & Dawna) are very nice and will do their best to help out in any way they can. Since this park has only been open since September 2015 everything is new. We are here for the winter and it looks like a great place to stay. It is close to just about anything you might need & they will shuttle you somewhere if needed. Nice clean park. Level pads, tables. A nice park with grass is across the street, if you need a place to walk your dogs. Shopping is walking distance. They have a pool, we didn't use it. They have a nice laundry facility and a big area for pool, movies etc. we liked staying here, as it was close to our venue. I'd stay here again when visiting family. read more

This is nothing but an asphalt parking lot. Very disappointing for $48.95....with the Sam's Club discount!Half the rigs in here look like they are on their last leg. There is NOTHING here. Walmart would be roomier!The entry gate has a code to get in but good luck if you are pulling in alone......You need to park your rig in the left turn lane, run across the oncoming lane to put in the gate code, then run back across the traffic and then try to pull across the traffic thru the gate before it closes. I am sure this review will disappear very quickly but it's the honest truth. Feeling totally ripped off. read more

This is the worse RV park I have ever been too. No showers, bathrooms have no toilet paper, paper towels. Dog park very small and stuck behind building. Dog trash not emptied. Gross!!! Pool water was green. All interaction done over internet. Never saw anyone in office. I did all the work registering, and they charge a fee. Ridiculous! Small park. I do not recommend. read more

We heard about this new park when it was still in the planning stages, and booked our reservation for two months based on the location alone. We were looking for a Tucson park for the dead of winter months, and were excited that we were able to find accommodations for our 41' diesel pusher motorhome in the bulls eye of the downtown Tucson area. Our needs included a park that was multiple pet friendly, and close to the attractions we wanted to experience during our stay in sunny Arizona. We also needed full hookups with 50 amp electric service. Sentinel Peak RV Park fit the bill perfectly. When we checked in, we were greeted by Cynthia, who was VERY nice and friendly! She gave us a lot of information about the local attractions, and made us feel right at home! This park has only been open about 6 months, so everything is neat, clean, and new. It is a small park, only 23 sites, most of them big rig friendly. The asphalt pads are wide and level, and the sewer connections are downhill from your dump valve. There are no issues with the electrical or water connections. We are in site 8, which in our opinion is the best in the park. Several of the sites have a wide yard area between the sites. The park is located between a couple of upscale apartment complexes, and we don't have any security concerns. There are several restaurants (and some of those restaurants are fabulous!), a hardware store, a clothing store, a Family Dollar store and a grocery store within walking distance, and the Sun Link Streetcar stop is only about 1/2 mile away. So, you can either walk there, drive and park your car in the large parking lot next to it, or Sentinel Peak has a shuttle service that will take you there. Sentinel Peak is very pet friendly, welcomed our multiple pets, and allows x-pen play yards at your site. There is not an enclosed pet park on site, but there is a nice park across the street, where you can leash walk your pets. They have game night on Thursdays, and movie nights on Saturdays. There was a pot-luck dinner one night, in the club house. It was a lot of fun to meet and mingle with the other park residents. If you are looking for woods and trees, this urban park is not that kind of venue. But, if you want a great place to stay in the middle of the Sonoran desert in a metro area, you can't beat it! We are putting this park on our most favorite list, and will definitely stay here again! read more

very very inconvenient!!! they did not email me the code to get into the park me and my husband waited outside for 3 hours , I left multiple voicemails and emails and no one has got back to me!! I knocked on the office door located outside the gate no one answered i had looked through the window and found big cock roaches on the floor! very terrible place to go to read more

Clean and secure. Office Manager very helpful. Downtown location is handy. No trees or shade and absolutely no place to walk your dog. We only stayed overnight on our way thru so it was fine but I would not choose it next time because we travel with a golden retriever. read more

This reviews is based on the location and amenities of this little RV park. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is it doesn't have showers. But, the owners seem like the kind of people who are always improving so maybe in the future. Anyway, this is a small RV park that is more akin to a paved parking lot. There are only about a dozen spaces, but they are generous in size and length. Pulling in with a 40 rig is no problem. There is a game room with a very nice pool table, foosball, cornhole, and big screen tv. Bathrooms are big and super clean. The laundry has one washer and one dryer, but we never had to wait very long to use them. The best part about this park is the location. You are 1.5 miles from everything you will want to see in Tucson. My wife and I like to walk and we take our Australian Shepherd with us everywhere. We averaged 7 miles a day and found 98% of the shops and stores in historic downtown Tucson dog friendly. We will definitely stay here again. read more

This RV park IS in downtown and convenient to what anyone could want or need. It was quiet, exceptionally clean, and has new asphalt covering as of April 28, 2016. It is located in what appears to be a nice neighborhood (no train whistles, etc.). The laundry room is air conditioned and there is a game room. They require jack pads, but loan them to you from the office at no charge. This is a small park (23 total sites). The sites are tight, their WiFi is satellite so it's poor (typical for campgrounds); however, even our own Wifi could only get slow 3G in this area. There are no showers (restroom only) and no Cable. The pool is a shallow "splash" pool. Again, this RV park offers convenience with electric, water and sewer with a DOWNTOWN location. read more
