The name says it all. Quick! Super convenient to get an oil change. I drove right in and the techs went right to work on my truck.

Always quick. In addition to the oil change they check tire pressure and vacuum it out.

They even vacuumed my car, provided a trash can for my trash, and checked my tire pressure for free.

Update: Since posting my review, Best-One contacted me, apologized, and explained they had been…read moreworking with the oil filter manufacturer regarding the issue. They were professional throughout the conversation, took responsibility, and provided compensation that made the situation right. I appreciate that they followed through and resolved the problem. While the original experience was extremely frustrating, I'm glad they ultimately stood behind their work and handled the issue professionally. Would give zero stars if that were an option. I originally went to Best-One of Indy in Castleton for new tires and had a good experience, so I returned for an oil change. Big mistake. The oil change itself took about 30 minutes. Then they told me I needed a cabin air filter. Fine. What they failed to mention was that I'd be sitting there another 20 minutes waiting for someone to deliver the filter from the parts store. Then came the bill--$120 for an oil change and cabin air filter. They claimed my car required extra oil, which supposedly justified the higher price. I've looked into it and can't find anything that supports that claim. Unfortunately, that wasn't even the worst part. Within days, my car started acting up. A warning light came on, it struggled to accelerate, and the dealer found a cylinder misfire. The code cleared, so I drove it home. A short time later, while driving around 35 mph, the engine shut off completely. Thankfully, it restarted, but it began idling high, and there was a metallic clanking noise coming from the engine. I took it back to the dealer. After running diagnostics and performing another oil change, they determined that the aftermarket oil filter installed by Best-One was causing the problem. I had to pay another $285 to correct an issue that never should have happened in the first place. As soon as the correct filter was installed, my car ran perfectly again. I emailed Best-One twice requesting a refund and reimbursement, and provided all documentation showing them that it was caused by their faulty oil filter. No response. I filed a complaint with the BBB. Still no response. I've now filed with the Indiana Attorney General. My only other option is to file a credit card chargeback and absorb the $285 repair bill myself. This wasn't just poor customer service--it was a complete lack of accountability. They took my money, created a much bigger problem, and then ignored every attempt to make it right. Avoid this location. I drive a very common vehicle. There is absolutely no excuse for an oil change to end with an engine shutting off in traffic and hundreds of dollars in additional repair costs. Don't find out the hard way like I did.

The only thing is didn't like is at the time of check out when it was time to pay I was informed there was a 3% to use credit card instead of debt card. They advised it was because the CC company charges them 6% which I don't doubt but I wish I would have known at the time when I made the appointment so I could have moved some money around and had the funds in the bank account to use debit. It ended up costing me $32 just in CC fees which probably took back whatever money I had thought is was saving... Honestly I probably won't use them again for services that cost quite a bit because I can't use my CC.

I was in the Castleton area tonight, and I decided to stop by this location that is a few months old and sits around the corner from the new 7 Brew (noting that you can not simply go across from one to the other - getting to Take 5 actually mandates taking a different road). I like Take 5, though I do tend to find it a bit pricey. The top oil change is about $100, the next is $83 (this is the one I got). You can get a basic one for $56. While the prices are higher, I will admit the customer service does tend to be stronger and more consistent with Take 5. As I drove in, I was handed a bottle of water and a fun-size Reese's Take 5 bar. It's a fun touch. Rob was the service manager. I wasn't paying good enough attention to catch the names of the other folks. I pulled in at 6pm - about an hour before closing, but they were perfectly hospitable and I was in the bay in a few minutes. One nice touch here is that you can visit anytime between your next due date and get fluids topped off and even air in your tires. They do have online coupons. They did honor a $15 off coupon tonight. The service was speedy. The employees were personable. Recommendations were made, though there was no hard-sell. Overall, this was a solid visit. While I still think it's a bit pricey, there's no denying the stronger customer service and as I drove off there was also no denying the car was running more smoothly. There's a new Take 5 fairly close to my home - I may have to give them a chance, though I won't hesitate to return to this location when I'm in the Castleton area.
