Was debating between Online Class and attending at Quick Learning School. Glad I chose Quick Learning. If I could give this establishment 10 stars I would! I highly recommend this school to anyone who is serious about the insurance industry. Jackie, Laura, and Irma really care about their students and want to see each of them succeed! The investment and time is so worth it! The exam is not easy. It's really tough but the strategy that Jackie gave me helped me tremendously! read more

Used QLS for my P&C Broker Licensing Exam, I completed all course materials online and with the workbook they mailed to me (almost next-day delivery!), I was able to complete my 52 hours of pre-licensing work, study for about another week and then I passed the exam on my first attempt by a solid margin. Excellent course materials and preparation. They help navigate the complexity of the material with various mediums including videos, online questions, online full 150 question exams and paper back material (which helped me the most). Thanks QLS! I would highly recommend them to anyone taking the P&C insurance licensing exam. read more

I really enjoyed attending classes at this location! I took the Property and Casualty Broker/Agent Insurance class the middle of March 2020. Lee and Laura are great teachers and really make you feel comfortable in the class. I like the group setting and small class size! They really prepare you on how to PASS the class, giving you helpful tools! Highly recommend this school! I passed the first time taking this test on 5/4/20, even after having to wait over a month to take the test due to Covid-19! read more

Came for the CRAM course for the fire/property & casualty at 8:30 am which is quite early for a sunday. If you just take CRAM course, its a one day all day (8:30 am to 5:30 but it does depends which day you go) for $149. You get a exam prep books to go for this class if you''re new student.....which you prepare for the exam since its has a lot of key facts and questions The teacher that i had gives you some key terms and go over a lot of questions that will be or might be in the state exam through her powerpoint. She does go over the questions more than once to see if the students can answer the questions read more

Great place to do your licenses. You can do it online or in person. I took the online course for P&C courses. Took the test and pass it first try. However, the downfall of this place is that, they never pick up their phone when you call them. It always goes to voicemail. I called at 9am, 10am, 11am, and 2pm. Still nobody pick up. Very great place to take your course, but please pick up your phone lines. read more

Just passed my Fire and Casualty exam today up in San Francisco thanks to Lee and the staff at QLS. Lee Jones is a teacher there and although insurance is a dry and boring subject his unorthodox method of teaching made the whole week, dare I say fun. Sitting in an 8 hour class on insurance for around 50 hours in a week is no easy task but Lee knows exactly when to give breaks and truly involves everyone in the class with the learning process. He delves into peoples personal lives with reckless abandon but it makes the class fun since there is a such a diverse group of people from all different backgrounds and countries. Everyone has got a bit of a life story to tell and it helps truly make a bond amongst classmates as people can usually find something to relate to. I can't not mention the amount of never ending wit and humor Lee has during the class. I've also got the kind of personality that's always thinking of the next joke to crack with a strong emphasis on sarcasm and between myself and Lee (mostly Lee) I felt like it helped move the whole class along and even the most reserved and quiet students seemed to open up to Lee and the rest of us. All in all I had a great time and Laura the life/ code & ethics teacher is awesome too. She really knows her material and has been teaching for 25 or so years so she really knows her shit. If you need a life, fire & casualty, real estate, securities, or contractors license this is really the only place you need to go. Did I mention free donuts and coffee? read more

So I was looking for in person classes to take my insurance pre-licensing because I had already taken P&C online and ended up failing the exam by 6 questions. So I said I'll give it break and go do my life and health. The life and health teacher I had was Jackie and I thought she was great! I know some people had a personal issue with her way of teaching but that seemed slightly off the wall for me coming out of high school two years ago. Her rules are simple. No electronics. She goes over the material very well and her TECHNIQUES ARE GREAT AS LONG AS YOU BELIEVE AND FOLLOW THEM. I also used the play book and flash cards and I passed my life and health the first time with an 85%! I am now going back and doing the cram course for P&C, so I can pass that one next! For anybody that truly wants their license, regardless of what your agent says, TAKE IT IN PERSON. Do not waste your money online. Once again thanks Jackie ! You were great ! read more

I recently attended a cram class in preparation for my Life Agent exam. Jackie (the trainer) did an amazing job of breaking down the essential test taking and studying techniques that would maximize your possibility of passing the exam. Although going through the 52 hours of online education is required, there is no substitute for in-person classroom training. Jackie was extremely professional, very clear and concise, and she made learning the material fun. Bottom line, I passed the exam on my first attempt because of this class. I would encourage everyone to check them out! read more

Wow, Wow, Wow!!! What can I say?! These guys are good at what they do. I studied and used the techniques they recommended to pass my P&C license and I did! Thank you Laura and Lee in particular. Although I did a lot of work to pass the exam, you guys gave me the tools in order for me to pass the first time. Thank you, thank you. Don't even shop around....Go here, do the work, and pass your exam the first time!! read more

I just finished my 52 hours of required education hours for the Fire & Casualty State Examination @ QLS-- and they are responsible for not wasting my time and making me pass the first time I took the exam! Lee & Jackie are an amazing duo! I had Lee for the Fire & Casualty course, and without his wit and humor, I would have walked out. Jackie taught the Code & Ethics course, and is incredibly thoughtful and caring, and really inspires each person to pass that exam, and to pay it forward! When you're choosing which school you're going to attend for the next 52 hours of your life, this is hands down the place to go. You won't regret it! read more

Hello Yelpers! Well, first of all i gotta admit i NEVER write review...but i just had to write one on QLS! i had the best experience there...i took the Fire & Casualty course twice and they were both great! LEE was my instructor he is sooooo funny!!! :) he picks on people A LOT just dont take him too serious...thats just the way of him teaching. He actually makes class fun and not boring at all...he had the people that were the most quiet talking.Everyone in class become "friends" in no time...i highly recommend this place if you guys need to get your insurance license! well i have my exam this monday, im sure ill pass tho wish me luck :) 8/8/2011 hello again! :D well i went today to take my fire and casualty exam and i passed!!!! the FIRST time! i am so exited i will definatly go back to thank LEE and the staff...everyone is so nice at QLS :) i couldn't have done it without them! i highly recommend this school now i think ill be back for the life course :) read more

Quick Learning is a great place to take courses in continuing education, professional development, and pre-licensing, for insurance, real estate, and securities. Classes are also offered for contractors and notary public. Tuition rates are very competitive, and classes are also offered in Concord and South San Francisco. If you commute, they will also let you mix and match courses in extreme circumstances. Classes are offered in the daytime or evening to fit your schedule. QLS helps you pass the license exam the first time. They won't take it for you, but they will do all they can to help with accessible instructors & staff, practice binders and cram courses. Once you have your license, continuing education is provided in-house or online. read more

WOW! Thanks to them I was able to pass my LIFE exam! My instructor, who happened to be the daughter of the school owners was really thorough and helpful. She made class enjoyable and was very informative. The price is so worth what me and my team member got out of it. I recommend taking this class over any other schools because I took the AD Banker course and my instructor was BOOOORRRIIINNNGGG and over internet classes! I learned nothing there and was there for a week. I took one 8 hr class with QLS and learned a ton more. They have a good teaching structure and have many tools to help you prepare for the exams. Their success rate is very true and I am living proof to that! read more

I attended the one day clam course for my life and health insurance exam the other way round meaning I have not studied the 52 required hours yet. The one day class is very well organized and Debra Law the instructor is very good. She is very experienced and knows how to boost up our energy by different ways. She made this learning experience fun and meaningful. The playbook they provide is also very helpful and honestly speaking lots of exam questions matched with the real one. I took my online course afterwards and passed my exam today. I highly recommend this school. For me, since I live in San Francisco, it is a bit far for me to take regular class. But I highly recommend it if you are close to this area. Thank you. read more

Took P&C from Lee, Life & Health from Jackie, and I passed both tests at my 1st attempt!!!!! They both are very good instructors and gave very useful tips to tackle the test! This school really worth to go if you want to pass the tests. read more

Purchased a life&health online course, which I never used or opened. Contacted the company for a refund numerous times. Was directed to Laura, since she is the one in charge of refunds, and she never responded despite of my countless attempts. There are plenty of other companies that I'm sure will provide better service and higher passing rates (Mike Russ was the best for me, I passed the first time! Although they are located in Southern California). This place will just take your money and run. read more

Quick as quick can be. I passed both Fire and Life. Both on my first try! The teachers at Quick Learning School are so hell-bent on getting their students to pass the first time that if every professor at the four-year universities were just like them, college students would finish school in half the time. Because QLS has been around for decades, they know nearly every curveball that the State of California can throw at you on the real exam. Upon the recommendation by a family agent, I signed up for the 92-hour package (Fire, Life, and Code/Ethics). Thinking that those 92 hours of class time would be as boring as sitting at the DMV, I arrived at school a little anxious on the first day. However, it was completely the opposite. It would turn out to be one of the most enjoyable learning experiences I've ever come across. Here are my thoughts on each teacher and his/her course I attended: Jackie (Code and Ethics): A very motivating person who's an expert in the self-help field. If you have worries or uncertainty in your life, Jackie's your go-to person. She gets classmates to congratulate each other on both small and big achievements (applause, high-fives). A little stern sometimes ("sorry, you can't sleep in my class"), but she gives out plenty of compliments when things go correctly. Lee (Fire, Property and Casualty): Funnest class ever. Robin Williams look-a-like. What makes Lee's course special is that he teaches half of the lecture, while the students teach the other half. When you're in Lee's house, you WILL get picked on, and after that, you pick on one of your own classmates. Though this humiliating method of public embarrassment, you have to think on the hot seat, which forces you to learn the material faster. But it's all good because we all have a good laugh whenever someone blurts out a ridiculous answer. Lee also thinks of funny situations, like mutating someone's middle name or having a student share another student's husband to illustrate the concept of a non-resident spouse. Laura (Life): Do you need a life? Laura can help. She's been here since the 80s, so her experience with the Life exam is incredibly high. Even though she is very knowledgeable in her field, she speaks during the entire hours-long lecture, which makes class a little boring. Plus, she enjoys going into detail sometimes, which confuses me as to whether something will be on the exam. Unlike Lee's course, student participation is low. She is really upbeat and happy during lecture, but you might want to bring a nice comfortable cushion for the lecture as you try to sort out the different types of life insurance. The Students: Besides the wonderful teachers, you will meet some pretty cool people here too! There were people who've been in the insurance industry for years and people who were completely new to the concept of indemnity. There were people from as near as San Jose and as far as San Francisco or Salinas. Best of all, these are the people who will cheer you on as you study for the exam! Oh yeah, there's free food, coffee, and cold/hot water here! Plus a toaster, microwave, and big sofa for your convenience. read more

My instructor was so sweet and helpful. She gave out her personal number for questions and advice outside of the cram course-- now that's an instructor who truly cares for your successes! I learned a great deal in the span of 8 hours and would highly recommend the location and facility as I passed my first try without too much time dedicated to studying! (Do study though...) read more

I am currently enrolled in the 52hr Life, Accident and Health class at Quick Learning School. So far I have only seen incompetence and am questioning why I should have confidence in their teaching. I have been sent the incorrect book(thankfully they did send the correct book after I emailed them about it), had to correct them on the dates and times of the classes as it was VERY incorrect in the email they sent, and am still in the process of trying to get my login information. I am writing this review after emailing six times and calling 5 times over the course of a week asking for my login information even though the subject line of the email that I responded to is "SORRY correction added USERname & Password for online certification..." (with that capitalization). The emails I have received are also in several different fonts and colors sometimes even changing color in the middle of a sentence with emojis. I can't believe a professional company is emailing like that. After finally reaching Laura on the phone she told me she would TEXT me my login information and I have yet to receive a text. I am writing this review as a last ditch effort to get my login information but the level of frustration this company has given me is beyond words. I should be putting this energy into studying their typo riddled book. read more

Definitely come here if you any insurance licensing and take the class with LEE. He's definitely hilarious and makes class less boring. He shows you everything you need to pass the licensing test. I hope I can retain it to pass! I'll let you know by the end of the month. The staff at this school is friendly (at least the ones I've dealt with). They even recognized my voice when I called them. Kinda freaky, but it's nice to know that they pay attention. read more

This is one of the worst schools in my opinion! The teacher is very unprofessional and will flaunt about her real estate success in your face! I am doing you a favor by tell you before hand for the "Real Estate Licensing Exam" do not go for Sherri's support. There are many "helpful" online courses available and more cost affordable... one of the worst experiences. Cannot stress it enough! read more

Yes, I remember Jackie and few others mentioned here. Just a blink of an eye I had my licenses from here now for 13 years. A great school. What I like too was after my classes ended I was able to study there. Question By the way is everyone working after getting their licenses now these days? What is everyone went on to doing? Let have a chat about careers possibility and exchange ideas. Let me know if you are not working or even if you are working. Like to know what our licenses can do for us. Lee is THE BEST. Hands down, no questions asked. You want to pass the first time? Go to Lee and call it a day. .

I PASSED FIRST TIME!! The school advertises that they will help you pass the exam, so I guess it was an "accident" that I learned so much about insurance. I only wish I had taken this class 20 years ago... I was lucky enough to experience Jackie, Lee, Laura AND Irma. They all went out of their way to help me understand when it was necessary, but keep focused on the ultimate goal. You have to put in the time anyway, why not spend the time in an environment that ensures your best chance of success. Go through the binders, review the workbook, and participate in class. It is the best way to "get 'er done!! " read more
