I wish I read all of the reviews before wasting my time with this place. I brought my equipment in to be diagnosed one week ago when he promised to call me with a quote. I waited three business days receiving no call as originally promised. When I followed up to get a quote, he again told me that he will call me later that day or the next; he called neither day. I waited another two more days before following up since he again did not keep his promise. Again, he promised to call me later. I gave him my PC for him to fix the noise problem and to unscrew the PC for me to see. We made an agreement for me to pay $20 to him, then afterwards he called me asking for another $20 and $80 to replace the fan. I highly don't recommend this person because he hides hidden fees from you and lies about saying the fan is broken even though it was full of dust. My iPhone 11 got water damage, when we went on a the boat trip to Isla Mujeres, Cancun. We were arranged to do snorkeling in the middle of the ocean, and my waterproof phone-case got leakage with the salt water coming into the bottom of the bag...When I got the iPhone out from the case, it was still working. I continued to use the phone until the liquid detection warning showed up! A lot of weird things showed up on the iPhone screen, i.e. the black dots, bright straps, foggy background...Eventually all the apps disappearing with only the aurora lights blinking...It is so devastating for me because all these 23,000 photos and videos were not backed up before the trip. So many beautiful moments and memories are all gone. I feel very guilt, upset and depressed. After we got off the plane, we went to the iPhone store, they blamed me for not getting iCloud then suggested that I get a new phone. In terms of repair, the younger guy was honest enough and told us to go to the 3rd party data recovery store to try our luck. He did mention that salt water caused erosion immediately and the pictures and phone might probably not be saved. We checked those stores in New Jersey, where there were very few providers. They work only weekdays from 10-4. It will take up to 3 weeks if it's still restorable. My husband then attempted to change the screen by getting the replacement screen from Amazon, but this new screen still failed to light up. We then thought about coming back to the city. We Googled some stores in New York and Brooklyn. We found this store and talked to the owner, Prabath, he seemed pretty confident. He asked us to bring in the phone the same day. The next day he already called us to come pick up the phone. All those 23,000 pictures and videos have been totally restored and backed up on a hard drive. Miraculously enough, he was able to fix the phone and it worked again like before! I just can't believe it! All that was once lost were recovered! My gratitude is far beyond words. Tears came out when I heard as well as eye witnessed of what he has done! Prabath is so knowledgeable, and what's important he cares and responds so quickly to help. The repair services are amazing, far beyond what we expect, with a very reasonable charge. I definitely owe him thousands of thanks! read more

I wish I could give this a 0 star review. Brought in my iMac because it had trouble starting. After checking the hard drive on disk repair at home I had zero issues so it wasn't the hard drive. This guy basically formatted my entire computer just to get it to start, I'm assuming this is out of laziness. Could've called and said "we have an issue we can't get it to start without erasing everything" I would've come in and tried to take it elsewhere or figure out a diff solution. Do not go there, the guy stole original apple screen and speakers out of my phone. I went to fix my charging port and he gave me a fake story and a fake screen said it was mine and that he had to replace it for me at no charge. Now the colors are wrong and the sound is bad, i have to get a new phone now and i lost $45. Don't go here. You will be upset and sorry if you do. Ever since their "so called" repair, my iPad has been glitching, will not charge and the home button sank! Like seriously sank, how is that possible? The service was stellar! Can't recommend enough. My iPhone screen broke and the location was open on a Sunday. Called ahead and got a quote. Was not upsold when I arrived. The service person was very nice and even took the screen out of a phone currently on sale to fix mine in under 40 minutes. No problems with the screen alignment - all functions run normal so no internal damage was done in the repair. All in all, they really went above and beyond. This place has ebay ad for Mac logic board repairs. I paid for a repair several weeks ago and they accepted the order and provided me with the shipping address. I sent the board and haven't been able to get a response out of them. The tracking shows they accepted the delivery and that was several weeks ago. I have contacted them 3 times in the last 10 days and gotten no response. They took the money and aren't responding so I'm left to assume they are not planning on actually performing the repair and returning my board to me. $125 for a repair and no service and no response. read more

The absolute worst service. I'm physically disgusted with the quality of customer service. I went with a cracked screen last Wednesday, paid $100 to have it fixed only to have it fall and crack on the very first fall. The joke is that my phone was in better condition than before I (tried to) fix the screen. This time my touch screen is completely messed up. I can't use the bottom half of the screen. I called and explained the situation and he remembered that I came in. He said "that's a problem" and I should go bring it in to get fixed. I asked if I'd have to pay and how much. He said yes, but that he'd give me a discount and the "best" he could do was to replace the screen again for $80. As if that was some kind of favor. That's not even a deal. Are you kidding me? It's been 5 days. I would've been better off spending the extra $50 and going to the Apple store for actual quality screen. My co-worker was with me and witnessed in disbelief and will never be going back there again. Also, my boyfriend said I should have gone to Apple because he'd taken 2 of his phones there and they both cracked on the first fall as well. So, definitely not an isolated incident. This place is what service is all about. We all have Smart Phones and sadly if the screen breaks or there's even the slightest issue life stops short and we cannot live anymore. That is exactly what happened to me this morning. My iPhone screen shattered and I saw black. So of course I freaked out and started searching the Web for a place near me to fix it without ripping me off. I found this store and met my match. The nicest people in the universe informed me they can have it repaired with a new screen and a free screen protector included within 15 minutes. All I had to do was sit back in my car and wait. Sure enough not even 15 minutes later I come back in and they hand me my awesome new iPhone looking as if it was fresh out of the box. And all for $100 --- note it was a super bad break. The sigh of relief that left me when they returned it basically said it all. Back to work I go! So I just left NYSC after spending the day helping my niece write a research paper. Walking out of the locker room I dropped my iphone 3G which I have done countless times before - this time I knew something was different. My glass touchscreen was shattered and starting to splinter. It's not the most professional environment and most women might feel uncomfortable with the DVD/Porn shop action in the back but bringing a friend and calling Prabath ahead of time should lessen any awkward moments. I have had at least 10-15 repairs done here. Were an Apple family full of phone and laptops. The easy repairs like damaged screens are done for half of an Apple store with an emphasis on fair price and quick speedy repairs, even while you wait. The owner (I can not remember his name) is always the one you speak to. Friendly, honest, and that is absolutely the reason I dont go any place else. Interesting problem happened to my Mac Book a couple of months ago. The Genius's at Apple didn't diagnose the problem until the 2nd time I brought it to them at a different Apple store, (thanks for wasting my time). Wanted 800 for water damage. I came here, forgetting he works on Laptops since we mostly repair our phones, as a last repsort, $300, repaired same day. He asked why I didnt come here 1st. What else can I say. Last week, I dropped my phone in the gym, screen at the side came apart, I went in, waited 20 min, got him a coffee from Dunkin donuts down the block. Came back, phone was ready. I sent these folks a Macbook Pro laptop on July 8th, 2020. It was sent in for logicboard repair. They contacted me to tell me it was a screen issue. Some time went by without any updates. I had to send multiple messages on eBay before I got one response. I would not trust my equipment with these folks. They do not communicate with their customers very well. I ended up having to pay for TWO different services instead of just one. They had my customer's Macbook for THREE MONTHS before they said it was fixed. First, they told me I was getting back a "New Macbook Pro", then in another message said they'd "fixed" the same one I sent them. Seems like they really do not know what they are doing at all. They only have 67 stars on eBay (Don't trust anyone with such a low rating). I now cannot leave any kind of feedback for this seller on eBay due to the length of time this "repair" has taken. As a computer repairman myself, I do know that there are certain situations that just don't work out. However, there is a point where you stop, contact your customer, and give them the truth, not shine them on for 3 months with very little contact in between, or lame-assed excuses as to why it took them so long to repair something that should have only taken 2 weeks. Reading other reviews on Yelp, I feel damn lucky that I'm getting my customer's Macbook back. My money was wasted. Poor quality "repair" that lasted only 3 months. The screen on my iPod was shattered. Apple would have replaced it with a brand new iPod for $85. I thought I was being nice by allowing Quick Fix, a small local business to do the job for $65. Mistake. Poor quality. The replaced screen was not flush with the case as before. The power button and volume buttons are difficult to push from day one. I thought to cut him slack and not complain. That evening I noticed I was able to see in between the screen and the case, in other words it was not sealed and the possibility that water, liquid, or dust can enter and completely damage my iPod. I brought it back the following day and he added more glue around the case. Three months later, I am unable to push the power button. As I said earlier, it was difficult to push from day one because the screen was not inserted all the way in the case. Again, now I cannot push it at all. If the battery drains I will not be able to turn it on. Now he wants an additional $40 to repair his poor quality repair. Doing so would cost me a total of $105 for a poor quality, temporary repair when I could have had it replaced by Apple with a brand new one for $85. I figured out what I really paid for.
