The service is good. Just make sure you get a quote of the actual work before scheduling the visit. Warning* Price Gouging. Before you schedule a visit make sure you get price quotes on possible repair options. Rashad also comes alone so be prepared to help him help you fix your television. We were overcharged by at least $300 for a repair that took a few minutes. I questioned the price while he was here and claimed it was the actual cost. It was far from the actual cost and I have since called three other shops to verify he overcharged by $300 To be very clear and fair. I reached out to Rashad and asked him again about the price after reaching out to three other repair shops. His response was "you agreed to the price" and to be fair to Rashad, he is right. I agreed to the price. That however does not make it fair nor is it justified. I do not buy Sony Control boards on a daily basis and I am at Rashad's mercy as to whether or not it is a fair price. Learn from my mistake and do yourself a favor, ask for the price up front and don't get overcharged like we did. Excellent service! One morning - out of the blue - my 2 year old Samsung TV wouldn't turn on. I reached out to an AV guy I know and to Samsung and no one could help me determine the issue nor could help me anytime soon. When i returned home that night I looked up smart tv repair in my area and came across Rashad. I called him with my issue and he promptly replied that he could be to my apt within an hour or two (it was after 6pm). I was shocked as usually it would be days for any service repairman to come out let alone that same night. When he arrived, he quickly determined the issue to be a dead motherboard and showed me the mechanisms and explained to me the problem. He was not pushy about the suggested repair but took his time explaining to me that this is a relatively common issue and it did happen to his own TV as well. He helped me make the decision to replace the part, as if it had been up to me I probably would have just resorted to buying a new TV. After all, who wants to pay a few hundred bucks to replace a relatively new television if this happens all the time?? He assured me that the repair would be worth it. So he ordered the part and took a small deposit from me in good faith. Within a few days he reached out to me that the part was in and he was ready to come over that night to handle the repair. He was at my apt within 30 mins to repair the tv and even remembers to bring along a power cord for my other TV that i had lost and forgot to remind him about.
