If you have a no warranty used vehicle, stay away. You will not save time or money as they call out things no mechanic shop would likely flag, since my vehicle had no smoke or noise. In fact the place that fixed it saw multiple vehicles come in for the same flagged item, all inspected at Quick! $750 later and two trips to Quick, there has been nothing quick about it. You have been warned! They remind me of the two mechanics from the movie "The Mask". -- " Joe what's this?" -- "I dunno, about $750 dollar, ha ha hardy har hah. Went in for an emissions, car passed emission but the tech stated that he could smell gas coming from the car. He looked and couldn't see and leak, couldn't feel a wet spot for a leak, bus since he smelled gas he didn't pass the vehicle. Weird thing that the cars computer doesn't detect a leak or has no problems but the tech can fail a car on suspicion alone. Sounds like someone is getting a kickback or more business from a fellow business. No wonder people don't trust businesses that work or deal with cars. Suspicion out weighs a computer that works properly. read more

I've had a few bad experiences with an ignorant worker. He sent me away because I didn't have my card with me. I asked why he can't just look it up like every time before. Went somewhere else and they took care of it no problem. After a year I thought I'd try them again luckily the ignorant worker was not there and they were nice and helpful. One bad employee can ruin a business reputation and it's hard on a business being judged by a bad employee. I will continue to go since it's usually pretty fast and no upsell on things they say you need that you really don't. read more

I went at 10am on a Wednesday and there was no line or wait, and true to their word it only took about 5min for them to finish the test. It was 5 stars up until the check out process. The cashier placed my paperwork on the desk with a pen over too it and didn't say anything and tapped away on his computer. I'm not from Utah, and I've never had an emissions test done, so I'm unfamiliar with this whole process. I finally ask him if I'm supposed to sign it and he says yes. Then he tells me the total and I give him my card. He does more tapping, then I notice him waving my card in front of a card machine. He didn't say anything was just waving it. So I took it and inserted it. The whole check out process was annoying with very little communication. Like, why did he even accept my card if I was going to be the one the insert/swipe it?? Why didn't he ask me to insert my card instead of vaguely waving it about? Good place but poor customer service read more

Before I waited I asked how long the wait was. They told me it would 20 to 30 minutes. After forty minutes they still had not started on my car and I had fifteen minutes until I needed to leave and pick up my son from school. I asked if they would be done before I needed to go. He encouraged me to go and assured me he would "take care of me" when I returned in fifteen minutes. Turns out that means putting me at the back of the line again after I had already waited longer than his initial estimate. I left as I had a grouchy six year old. I will find somewhere else that is quicker and more accurate about the wait time. read more

I've found that with car emissions and safety testing, the less the business is able to do, the better. EVERY time I've taken my car to a testing location that ALSO offers repairs, they ALWAYS find SOMETHING wrong with my car- that they can then charge me to fix. Quick Emissions might be my go to place because they do NOTHING BUT testing. They probably couldn't fix a problem with your car if you paid them $1000. They are also, like their name indicates, QUICK. I was in and out of there in about 10-15 minutes, and that was after waiting for another car. PS- They also have really comfortable couches in their waiting room. read more

I was so impressed with this business. clean, comfortable, good sized waiting room equipped with comfy couches and toys/books to entertain the little people. my car was done so quickly I thought it had failed. lol. luckily it did not and as mentioned in a previous comment there was no mention of "problems" with my car. we will be back! read more

Poor service! They nickle and dime you and won't honor coupons if you show them the coupon before they work on the car.

Worst place ever to take a vehicle for inspection. Emissions is fine, but for safety unless you have a brand new car you will fail for sure. I even had to involve the highway patrol and have an officer meet me at the location with the owner because of improper safety inspection diagnosis issues. This place is simply amateur. Not professional at all. The owner took 45 minutes to hook up a ball joint gauge and he still was confused on how to read it. I have never had a problem with any place I have been in over 20 years until I went here. read more

Nobody looks forward to following the state's demands to get their car examined yearly, but these guys at least make the process as painless as possible. They really are quick-- done in 10 minutes. Also they can test brakes without pulling the wheels, so no more new damage to my factory magnesium wheels after every inspection. Finally they don't try to drum up business by claiming that things are failing that really arent. Also a bit of searching will yield discount coupons, one of which will get an on the spot renewal down to $3 for the service fee. read more
