The process: Brian asked me to pull my car into the bay, and I didn't even have to get out of my car! He got to work and the process took about 5 mins total! Brian was friendly, quick, and very knowledgeable. He even told the best times of the month to go to the DMV so I can beat the lines! The staff were really welcoming, walked me through my options in a way that actually made sense, and they worked fast. The cost wasn't too bad and I'm glad I ended up here. The only downside was they couldn't actually change my oil because my regular shop had done something to the oil plug and Take 5 would've risked damaging it if they tried. They were honest about it, showed me what they were talking about, and didn't push anything unnecessary. I had them do everything else, then went back to my usual place for the actual oil change. Not their fault, just annoying.

I stopped in after being referred to them as experts in the I/M field and it couldn't have been more clear they had zero interest in helping me. After being barked at by the guy in the shop area to go to the other side of the unmarked building I then was treated to the peak of "why are you bothering me" attitude from the desk guy. Desk guy also was thoughtful enough to throw in the experience of being interrupted mid-sentence while trying to discuss the unusual situation with my car. Guys working today at ET, please take my advice and get jobs that don't involve customer care, it's not your strong suit.

Terrible experience. I came here hoping to knock out a quick oil change before getting a car wash…read more After the techs spent about 10 minutes trying to upsell me on items from the "inspection" that I didn't request, they informed me that they had already drained my oil but couldn't replace the filter because the skid plate bolts were stripped and they couldn't get it off. This was right after I heard their torque wrench audibly destroy the bolts. They admitted that they had indeed stripped out the bolts trying to remove them. To make it worse they told me that while they wouldn't charge for the oil filter they would still charge me for the oil. I explained that it makes no sense to pay for the oil if I have to go right back somewhere else and have it drained again in order to replace the filter. After arguing they went back down and worked on the bolts and were able to finally get them off and replace the filter. But now the bolts were stripped and they couldn't put the skid plate back on safely! They claim to have called around looking for new bolts but couldn't find any. They did their best to re-attach the skid plate with just a few partially stripped bolts. So now I have to go have the skid plate removed again and reattached with new bolts. And they charged me full price for everything even though they stripped my bolts. What should have been an easy oil change has note resulted in a big headache for me. Avoid this place!
