So I went back and had him fix it (since I didn't want any mileage discrepancies to happen with my vehicle) and when I returned, he redid my vehicle and sent me off, I checked it while I was driving and it was fat fingered again so I went back and he had to redo my vehicle again. Regardless that issue took about 2 hours in total to get it fixed. He said it didn't matter and was a bit grumpy about it but I want things in order and wouldn't want any issues down the future. I needed to get my emissions test done so I could renew my car registration and safely drive to my son's birthday party. With it being Sunday, my options were limited. I accidentally hit the call button for Nick's In & Out Emissions and immediately hung up. Nick called me right back to make sure everything was okay and confirm that they were, in fact, open. During that first conversation, he asked the right questions about my situation, immediately put me at ease about my VERY expired registration, and even made me laugh! I knew right then that this was the kind of person I wanted to do business with. What Nick didn't know was that I was having one of the darkest weeks of my life. I had experienced three unimaginable losses in a single week, and the hate my fiancé and I had been subjected to had made an already painful time even harder. On the drive to his shop, I cried the entire way. I needed to let it out before arriving at the birthday party and putting on a happy face. I've tried booking first thing in the morning, the person opening didn't show up till about 25 minutes after open. Most recently I came in for a scheduled brake service. I waited around for 30 minutes after my appointment time. The person I first spoke to said they'd be back, after waiting so long I went to leave only to have them stop me and claim they could squeeze me in and finish the job in about 45 min. Since they prioritized emissions testing walk ins I ended up waiting a total 2 hours and 30 minutes for something they told me would take 45 minutes total. I would have kept walking if the technician didn't lie to me. Lesson learned. Do. Not. Get. Your. Brakes. Done. Here. It's a real shame because they use to be so great in the past at this location. I'd come here for most regular maintenance. I hope they turn it around back to the good service they use to provide in years past.
