Welcome to Saturday everyone, today I am doing something a little bit different. Today being Saturday November 15, 2025, it's cold out, not as cold as it could be, but I am looking for something hot, like a hot sandwich. I am here at Quick Chick in Pittson located in the Walmart parking lot over by the pizza place. Looking through the menu, I am trying their version of a cheesesteak called the beef shawarma. It's on a warm and heated sub bun with halal meat, onions and peppers with cheese. They don't put sauce or any dressing on it unless you ask. I ordered a side of fries also. The meat was nice and tender blending well with the other ingredients, if you are a cheesesteak lover you have to try this, you can also get this with chicken. The fries were served hot and fresh. Quick Chick has fresh ingredients, tasty food, and great prices. So far, I've had the beef shawarma twice, but I'm eager to try the rest of the menu. It's a family run business and they deliver. Definitely a must try if you enjoy Mediterranean food. read more

Great little hole-in-the-wall place. The owner made us feel very welcome and everything we ordered was delicious. We even picked up one of each of the dessert options and ate them on our way out of the parking lot. We will be returning when we're in the neighborhood. read more

Came here seeking refuge from a torrential downpour. I knew shawarma would likely have a falafel option and boy was I rewarded for my venture. The upgraded falafel wrap with a French fry, hard boiled egg, tabouleh & tahini spread was so satisfyingly delicious, made without hesitation and presented with the cleanest and most eat friendly wrap. Delicious food and nice options for sides. I recommend the chicken shawarma and tabouli with white sauce. Also love the baba! The place itself is clean and a simple dine in spot like a subway restaurant. WOW. I've spent a good portion of my adult life living and traveling throughout the Middle East and the Mediterranean. This restaurant is LEGIT. It reminds me of some of the small family restaurants and "street meat" vendors and that is some of the best food you can eat. If you find yourself in the Scranton area, this place is worth visiting. read more

Drove all the to this place because we saw it on the news. Got there at 7:45 for takeout and as soon as we opened the door they yelled CLOSED. They weren't cleaning or even closing up yet. Highly recommend this place! It was mine and my husband's first time trying authentic Mediterranean food and the guy who waited on us was so kind and informative. He explained all the menu items to us and even let us sample all the sides before choosing which ones we wanted! We also grabbed one of each kind of dessert to try at home. I was very impressed with the food and the service at Quick Chick. I had the meat shawarma which was fantastic. The meat was well seasoned and the flatbread was out of this world. I loved it. The restaurant has several tables to eat in or you can call ahead for takeout. If you walk in and order it will take five minutes or so for your order to be ready because they make it fresh. Also, they will offer you small samples of their sides on your first visit. The hummus is extremely good. Great place to try. It's nothing fancy but they have excellent food. A must try especially if you've never had Lebanese food. read more

Excellent Middle Eastern food. I try to make it down as often as possible. I live in scranton but make the trip because the food is so good. Service is excellent food is excellent and the restaurant is always clean. They offer a wide range of food. I love the lamb kebab., it's my favorite. Their meat and spinach pies are excellent. The dough is light and the food is seasoned perfectly. Absolutely worth the trip. read more

Stopped here while on the road from a Yell recommendation. The place is very simple and not attractive. Like a take out pizza place. A few Formica booths. BUT. The food is all homemade and delicious!! Absolutely the BEST stuffed grape leaves I've ever had. And the lamb kabob sandwich was wonderful- tender and tasty. We loved it so much that we plan to stop there on the way home to try some other delights. You can tell they love what they do as the food reflects it. read more

My first-time experience ordering food from here wasn't good. First of all, food arrived super late & cold, thanks to Grubhub and secondly, it didn't taste good. I have Quick Chick about once a month or so. I always go for the chicken shawarma platter. Every single time I eat it, I ask myself why I am not eating it more often. I've now started buying 2 meals every time so I am able to have one for the next day as well. The platter comes with pickled veggies and garlic sauce & then a spicy red. I've tried to make this at home and while it's good, it's nothing compared to Quick Chick. I'm so thankful to like only about 2 miles from the location so I am able to have it whenever I like. read more

I don't review often, but when I do, it's because I've found a place that deserves recognition. This fast-casual eatery serves delicious, perfectly-cooked kabobs. I am in love. Seriously. Everything is an amazing. My wife saw Quick Chick when they first opened, so we figured "why not. Let's ice it a try." Aftet walking in he door we were greeted with very warm welcomes. Follows by free samples of..... so much food! And everything was amazing. Found this little gem by complete accident and coincidence. Due to a complete SNAFU with the airlines, my siblings and I ended up in Wilkes-Barre and renting a car to complete our journey . . . but we were hungry and in no mood for subway or worse. I searched for restaurants and said, "there's a shawarma place". Having grown up with Mediterranean dishes the decision was unanimous and Quick Chick is the real deal and hit the spot!
