Fantastic Indian food. We've enjoyed several dishes from this fine establishment over the last 6 months or so: The Kaju Masala (medium spicy level) is very, very good. This is easily one of the top 2 curries I've ever had. It seems to be on the oily side, but that won't stop me from ordering it again in the future :P The mild spicy level is also delicious. I order the Masala Fries every time and they are always delicious. The Vegetable Malabar is fantastic. It's creamy and so satisfyingly delicious, every time. The Vegetable Korma (medium spicy level). It's very rich in spices and had all my tastebuds tingling. It's really good. My husband says the Chana Masala (mild spicy level) is up there with the best he's had. The heat from spices varies each time we order this at the mild level. Note: I asked for (and received) vegan versions of each. The Samosa Chole Chaat was one of my favorite dishes but their Samosas are no longer vegan, which makes this dish no longer available to vegans. I tried what they offered as a sub (Aloo Tikki) and it was good but not equal. Bummer! read more

Full disclosure: We love Indian Food. We have eaten Indian all over the world. We are very picky. Went here for dinner. The place is a little "plain Jane". You order on-line or at the counter, and then have a seat. Very spacious restaurant with lots of seating. Food is not served on fine china or with metal utensils, so don't freak out. With all that said, the food was delicious! The meat (chicken) was so tender (and all white meat). The spice level was perfect (I enjoy it very hot). The service was also very good. We were served by "Bittoo" himself. They do a huge "take out" business as people were coming and going while we were there. Definitely will return. A must go. read more

NEPA folks and thru-travelers on I-81 - be advised - this is a wonderful little restaurant for a casual meal and especially great for Indian food beginners! We finally had the opportunity to check out Bittoo's Tikka on Saturday, January 11, 2025 and we were not disappointed. It is a small, strip-mall eatery near some of the large (and BORING) chain restaurants in Dickson City. Not an old school red velvet curtain sit-down Indian place - more fast casual for take out or dine in in a utilitarian setting. But the space is clean and bright and the folks who work there (the owner's, perhaps) were friendly and helpful. Not a lot of explanation on the menu, but our order taker was very helpful with explanations and suggestions. My wife had the ubiquitous chicken tikka masala and it was good, with a depth of flavor and served with delightfully light, fluffy and flavorful basmati rice. I took the suggestion of the malabar style chicken - wonderful, creamy and delicious. The naan was pillowy soft and sweet and great for absorbing all of the wonderful sauce. Cheese naan was also delicious. My wife also enjoyed her mango lassi and I placed a belated order for some tandoori wings, which, while not as crispy as I usually like (I didn't ask .... my bad), were flavorful and well prepared. We were so glad to have stopped for lunch and we are appreciative for the kind service and fantastic food. Thank you! read more

This place is legit. The chicken tikka was spot on. My wife loved her curry dish...not too spicy. The garlic naan was lovely. The jasmine rice was perfectly cooked. We ordered chicken tikka masala and samosas online while out running errands and decided to give Bittoo's Tikka a try. Service was friendly and the restaurant was very open and clean. The portion sizes were a little smaller than I expected based on the price, but everything was well seasoned and tasted delicious. AMAZING! i'm not indian but i've had indian food in so many cities. my to go dish is paneer tikka masala and o.m.g. this is by far the best! i've never had paneer this soft and sauce this flavorful. every ingredient was distinctive and amazing! loved every item i ordered. my only request is to indicate the spiciness level of each item. i know some of my friends won't be able to handle the cauliflower tikka, but i loved it! i've also been asked by many places for the spiciness level for my ptm, but i guess there's only 1 level here. which is fine, i enjoyed every bit of it! also, the garlic naan which was delicious. i can definitely tell the bread and garlic were fresh. i am in love with this place and will def come back. thank you for bringing great food to the area. read more

I'm honestly shocked by how many people loved this food and I wish I could say the same. I'm going to chalk it up to the customers of this NEPA area that don't know what quality Indian food should taste like. We placed a take out order through their website and the process was simple enough, but it was more expensive than Indian takeout that I've ordered from other locations. This business was new, so I thought, okay, maybe they haven't figured out their pricing yet. We picked up our order and informed the owner, who was kind to us when we arrived, that he was missing menu items from his printed menu on the website to order online. Finally, the food wasn't good. There was just no flavor! I barely had any lamb in my curry, it was bland and too oily, and the french fries might as well have been plain, they were also SO bland! Would I return? Absolutely not. Overpriced, small portions, no flavor, no authenticity. Go to Amber Indian Restaurant in Moosic instead. read more

Ordered Tika Massala family style, it was barely enough for two people. It was very bland with hardly any flavor. Same went for the Tika French fries, it was just French fries with paprika. Asked them to make just plain Mac and cheese for our daughter, it wasn't plain, it was Mac and cheese with paprika an other stuff. $40 later and I'm now at home and have been on off the thrown for the last five hours since we ate this food. read more

I recommend Bittoo's Tikka. My favorite dish is the Butter Chicken. The sauce is so creamy and tasty and the chicken is exquisitely delicious. The sauce and the chicken blend together impeccably to make a superb dish. The Garlic Naan is perfectly seasoned and baked expertly. I order the Garlic Naan every time I go to Bittoo's Tikka, sometimes getting it with cheese. If you like spicy, the Chicken Masala is very flavorsome. I enjoy this very much, too. There are other offerings that are equally scrumptious. There's something for everyone. There are vegan offerings and gluten-free, as well. I also love their drink items, especially the Mango Lassi and Indian Sodas. Mmmm!! I love dining in, as the restaurant has a casual, festive atmosphere. I do take-out, as well, with equal enjoyment. A+ Excellent Indian food! I ordered a mango lassi with is a sweet yogurt drink and Butter Lamb with came with cumin rice. My dining partner had the Shrimp Vindaloo which is a spicy rice and shrimp dish (similar to Chinese fried rice). It came with a cool and creamy cucumber raita on the side. This restaurant offers many vegetarian options too. I'm lookin forward to trying the Paneer tikka and some naan (flat bread). The staff were lovely. Clean bright environment, but loud due to how open it is. Food is served with plastic cutlery, so if you prefer metal, bring your own utensils. read more
