    Butter Masala Dosa

Butter Masala Dosa was delicious...paper thin and tasty. Size is big...bring a big appetite Started with the idli/vada combo...vada was piping hot and with the sambar, flavor was off the charts Wanted to try their coffee but have to wait till the next trip....food coma. It was busy and did take some time for the order to arrive but they serve chips (Mexico restaurant style) to pick on while you wait. All in all, loved it. Glad I came.

Returned to try the dinner buffet. The buffet had a satisfactory variety of veg selections and there's even more if you eat meat. The fresh dosa brought to the table included with the buffet was a nice touch. The price was very reasonable for buffet service. Everything was tasty; although I'm usually partial to the curries, the highlights for me were unexpectedly the beet salad, rasam, and shahi tukra (I was especially excited to try shahi tukra, I never see it on menus anywhere). Except for the rasam, everything was pretty mild in heat. I would have liked to see one or two spicy curries, but even without the heat, everything was flavourful. I think I'll probably go for the regular menu if I come back again, but it was really fun to try the buffet and it's definitely a good choice if you want to go to an Indian buffet.

    Garlic naan and chicken naan

Oh my where do I start? Service was perfect! The gentleman was polite and respectful. The dining area is super clean, tables were set nicely. The garlic naan was the best I've ever had. So fresh and flavorful. The Goat Saag was absolutely fantastic! I asked for it spicy and it was just that. And not too much. I would drive hours to return here. Kudos to Dosa Grill for all that they do!

    "Birdseed"

Shhhh. The triple cities best kept secret. Their lunch buffet is second to none!!! Beautiful array of tantalizing Indian favorites. From soup to birdseed (see attached pix). Beautiful, yet comfortable clean environment with attentive, helpful and friendly staff. Not to mention, the bountiful and delicious food. The buffet is continuously restocked, including with their highest quality and tender chicken breast selections we have ever encountered at any Indian Buffet. This place is a must try. Very conveniently located with plenty of parking.

The food is wonderful. Fish Pakora app is a favorite. Good quality on everything and one of the only Dosa games in town which is also gluten free. Service is great. Ambience is great, plays Indian music. We love it here.

I absolutely love this place! One of my favorite Indian restaurants in town. Their food is great and service is also great. Everyone here is super friendly! I love it here because they actually blend their curry spices very finely. It's a personal preference but I love when there no pieces of spices poking out.

Food was good! I enjoyed the mango lassi the most. Some items were too spicy for me, even when it was labeled as mild

The buffet was very good. They need better air conditioning. It was extremely hot the night we were there...

She was looking for advice from me, but I was very happy when the owner came by and said he could select our food and we trusted him.He asked us a few questions about spice level, proteins, etc. He said he would bring us an appetizer, a chicken entree and a vegetable entree. He also brought us 2 hot chai drinks. We agreed it was the best chai we've ever had....it was mildly sweet and the spices were perfect. We were brought as an appetizer...fried cauliflower with a Manchurian sauce which was sweet, mildly spicy and a touch sour..... perfect. We got 4 beautiful veggie balls..... finely minced veggies with paneer in a very creamy sauce. The taste was a little sweet and when eaten on the super hot and fresh naan it was delicious. Our last dish was chicken kebabs, I believe made in the tandoori oven with spices and served with a beautiful sweet, creamy tomato sauce. We didn't ask for dessert but we're brought a complementary rice pudding to share... heavenly! We were checked on several times and water glasses were kept filled. We are both big water drinkers. I was so impressed with both service and food. If I could rate it more than 5 stars, I would do it!!

This review probably shouldn't be a solid 5 stars but you have to grade on a curve, because who…read morewould expect Indian food this good in a place like Cooperstown? So much Indian food outside major metropolitan centers in the US is either terribly underflavored, in a sad attempt to level down to provincial palates, or by contrast overspiced, in the equally ridiculous assumption that you convey authenticity via sheer capsicum, that one approaches a place like this warily. And yet what you have here is delicately-calibrated sauces, food in which you can actually taste individual seasonings and savor their interactions, the way it's supposed to be! Samosas are fresh, crunchy crispy crust rather than the doughy glop for which we so frequently settle, and rice is perfectly fluffy. Lunch servings are just the right size - not the gargantuan american portions that let you know how dubious is the quality of the meat (margins can only be maintained on those stupid portion sizes by sacrificing quality). I won't say this place would get 5 stars in London or Chicago but it's well worth your time if you're in Cooperstown instead.
