It is difficult enough to find anyone that is knowledgeable, professional, or working and wants to work in the area. This company is reliable, honest, and so, so helpful. A simple issue was made to feel so complicated when no one else in the area could answer their phone, call back or provide a simple solution to avoid work over our failed attempts in the last few weeks. But, it all worked out because we were able to connect with River City Plumbing! This company not only arrived earlier than the scheduled appointment with a great attitude on a early Friday morning, but figured out what was not an issue after all in less than two minutes upon arrival, provided a clear explanation of our inquiry (dealing with a well pump, pipelines, additional spigots, water drainage, water temperature, and more). The issues we did have were resolved quicker and better than I could have imagined and exceeded my expectations on the whole subject overall. Don't bother calling anyone else because you will not get through or you will end up having plumbers remorse if you do :) Highly recommend this company and trust them to do your work efficiently and effectively. We are so thankful for this business. Services: Outdoor plumbing system repair, Drain cleaning, Water heater repair

I hired Heller Concrete based on my pool cleaning company's recommendations. I couldn't be more satisfied or happier! The pool deck is transformed, even my pool service man was surprised that it could be so totally redone in such a timely manner. I also had my pool resurfaced by another local company, Oceanside Pools. Everyone from Heller Concrete showed up when they promised (a BIG deal when dealing with contractors!). They cleaned up nicely afterwards and only minimally disturbed my plantings. I highly recommend them and invite anyone who wants to view before/after pictures to visit me at Lighthouse Bagels in Corolla, or see the transformation at my home. Patricia Dietrich, Corolla, NC

Heller Complaint Follow-up…read more It came as no surprise that Heller Concrete could secure a recommendation from a satisfied customer in response to my complaint about his terrible work. Of course he has satisfied customers. If he hadn't had and I hadn't relied upon recommendations I wouldn't have hired him in the first place. So, positive experiences do nothing to undercut the validity of my complaint. Mr. Heller might better improve his standing in the community if he took the time and interest to deal properly with dissatisfied customers. If anyone, previously satisfied customer or prospective customer, would care to see an example of Mr. Heller's work, please contact me directly. obx1212@gmail.com

He said that he could handle it and would get back to me with a price. 6 days later I texted him asking if he had put together a price for me. I wasn't shopping for a plumber, I was planning to use him because he was referred by someone I trusted. Mike never responded. I waited 2 weeks before deciding to post this review. Part of being a good contractor is showing up and getting back with people. If he said that he wasn't interested, or was too busy, I would of looked for someone else. Instead I lost valuable time and had to try and get another plumber. Luckily I found someone who not only is happy to the job, but returns calls. Not even a difficult job. Maybe he's a good plumber, I'll never know. This review is based on the fact that he did come to my house, and did say that he would give me a price. Therefore, I did officially use his business. It wasn't like I showed up at a restaurant with no reservations and then posted a bad review about them because they wouldn't seat me. It's more like having a reservation and being seated but never being served. You the can make your own decisions. This was my experience.
