Quezada's salsa was something I had the pleasure of eating during my trip to Hawaii and as a Hispanic I can affirm that this was AUTHENTIC Latin food. It's is obvious that Quezada salsa not only pours love into their food but ensures that their culture is very present in a lot of their dishes. One of my favorite things about eating was their awesome selection of different salsas that paired so well with the carnitas tacos that I had. Will definitely be ordering from here again during my next trip to Hawaii!

They come outside of queens usually Wednesday but sometimes they're not there because they're busy catering. We usually order the pulled pork nachos. Nachos come with velveeta like cheese on top, then there is a nice selection of pulled pork, guacamole, pick de gallo, sour cream and vinegary jalapeño. It's super satisfying but to be honest I share it with a coworker because it's a lot to eat for one of us and you cannot save it or it gets very soft. No good later. The couple works super hard and are always very nice and friendly! Once in a while this is what we order. $12 a plate is great. Still haven't truer anything else I wish I still had that picture. Next time I'll update it and show you the pic do the nachos.

Loved working with Quezadas. The food is amazing! Make sure you order extra guac it's so yummy. They are super courteous and on time. Very professional and ceaned up afterwards. And left us any leftovers for the next day. Highly recommend and will definitely use again. Thanks for everything.

Every year when we stay in Honolulu, we host a taco party and have this company provide the food for us. The food is made fresh and is absolutely delicious. It offers a wide variety of choices to please each of your guests. There are a wide variety of salsas, meat, and vegetarian choices and the beans and rice are fantastic to make burrito bowls with the leftovers the following day. It is always a hit with our guests. They will cater any size group but we order enough for 8 guests. There is always tons of leftovers. They deliver the food warm and you just have to quickly warm the fresh corn tortillas. It's always a hit with our friends and so easy on the hostess

Loved trying these delicious tacos! They came to Queen's PB in a food truck. They will be there every Wednesday from 10:30-2:30 PM. They are located in parking lot B next to the Khoi food truck. Their menu consists of 3 carnitas or shredded chicken tacos or nachos. The tacos come with mild or spicy salsa, guacamole, cilantro and lime. The nachos come with queso, guacamole, sour cream, pico de gallo, and jalapeños. I ordered the chicken tacos. You get 3 soft tacos. They filled me up. The chicken was juicy, moist, and flavorful. Next time I will try a combo and do tacos/nachos. The tacos and nachos cost $12 and they take Venmo! Super convenient. My only critique would be to cut up the onion into smaller pieces I had 2 large chunks of onion in my tacos. The salsa was also very delicious! I had the mild. Note that there will be a bit of a wait as it is very busy during lunch hours.

tldr: Quezada's Salsa is a catering business run by a husband and wife duo that delivers authentic tacos at a fair price with professionalism and friendliness. I came across Quezada's Salsa from a friend who had encountered this catering company at a networking event and decided to hire them for catering, primarily based on these stellar reviews, for an event and I am extremely happy I did. We held a private indoor event early March 2023 for about 30 friends (we're all locals). I contacted Quezada's back at the end of 2022 to get more information on their services and emailed back and forth with Jennifer, the wife owner of this married couple duo. Jennifer was extremely patient with me, as I had a lot of questions (I think she answered a couple more than once because the timing was so spread out - sorry!) and she never once expressed anything but professionalism and helpfulness. I could tell she really cared that I had all of my questions answered and that she wanted to help me with this event. Jennifer presented me with a list of options for the catering menu, including several types of: - meat: carnitas, chicken verde, birria aka beef, or soyrizo for vegetarians/vegans - tortillas for tacos and tortilla chips for dipping - salsas: pico de gallo, mild, medium, or spicy salsas, and pineapple salsa - sides: Mexican rice, black beans - toppings: guacamole All of these are included along with plates, utensils, and napkins, but you can also order add-ons such as elote, queso fresco, and sour cream. Many come with cilantro, but I hate cilantro and they were good about providing separate options for with or without it. We ended up doing all of the above except for the birria/beef and the tacos were unbelievably good. I haven't found many legit taco place on Oahu yet, but this place is definitely amazing. The meat was very nicely cooked and actually had real flavor, so it wasn't just a tasteless lump. Definitely get the carnitas. After adding the rice, beans, salsa, and sour cream, everything balanced together perfectly for a really great taco. The salsas had lovely flavor too - I like that there were distinct flavors for each, like the medium had a smoky flavor and the mild one had a fresh green herb flavor. I wasn't a huge fan of the tortillas - although I believe they were authentically Mexican, they just got soggy immediately and I prefer tortillas with a bit more texture and structure. I like them with a little stronger corn flavor too - these didn't have a ton of flavor. I also always order elote whenever I see it (AZ, DC), but this one felt too heavy with the mayo-y/sour cream-y coating and too sharp with the raw red onions. I like a lighter elote with a hint of acidity. These are minor, though, compared with how great the tacos taste. I've worked with other caterers and I think their prices are fair and include tax, tip, delivery, and on-site catering for one hour (includes set-up, light food prep, and removal). They also leave all food behind packaged so that you can take it with you if there are leftovers when you're done. What I may appreciate even more than the excellent food was the professionalism and superb customer service that Jennifer and her husband delivered. Tasty food is all well and good, but if you can't get it on time or they forget to bring something, you're not going to hire that caterer again. Jennifer was early, she had everything she needed for a beautiful presentation, she prepped the carnitas and warmed the tortillas on site, she supplied all the materials, and was very upbeat and friendly to all of our event attendees. I couldn't have asked for a better job. Thank you!

Got the Carne Asada taco pack a couple weeks ago and I agree....its pretty damn Bueno! At first it didn't look like a lot of food, but it was more than plenty. I suggest buying extra taco shells bcuz your going to find you have leftovers. We fed a party of 3 and still had some for lunch the next day! FYI...they deliver to wherever you choose so you can have Taco Tuesday at work! read more

My office had Michael come in with an entire Taco Bar set up. He was on time, kept everything clean and neat, was super friendly to all of our staff, and on top of that the food was beyond delicious. We wish we knew of his company sooner so we could book them for more of our functions more often. Definitely will keep recommending them to anyone who enjoys tacos. Quezada's Salsa is so delish! Husband and wife are the owners and are so pleasant and friendly. They have done a couple functions that I've attended and let me tell you, their food is so delish and authentic! I definitely recommend!! They do all types of functions and events, including weddings! They can provide their services for up to 200 guests. There's all types of salsa's and flavors to choose from. And you can pick what kind of spread you want. If you want to add beans and rice or tacos you can do carne asadas (steak) or carnitas (shredded pork) tacos. Or keep it fun a simple with just chips and salsa! read more

They catered a luncheon for our preschool staff and it was a hit. I'm a bit of a salsa snob and good salsa is hard to find. Theirs was very flavorful. This husband and wife duo are timely in their responses and are very friendly. We had leftover and I brought home for my husband and I. He agrees that it is great tasting food. My cat even begs for some beef whenever she smells it cooking. I will definitely use them again for any occasion that arises! read more

It's not only the quality of the food, but also the customer service. They do everything fresh and they take it to your house! A friend of mine posted about Quezada's doing taco kits during the current stay-at-home order and I couldn't resist. I NEVER order delivery anything but I've had this delivered twice now. The barbacoa is delicious and my son loves the carnitas. He even likes the cilantro, onion and limes! I don't like to spend a lot for Mexican food but if it's good Mexican food (and this is GOOD) I'll treat myself now and then. I'm not sure if they'll continue to do this delivery once things are back to normal, but I look forward to ordering more tacos again before they stop. Yum!! Thanks, Quezada's! read more

I hired Mike and Jennifer to feed 20 of my family and friends the day after my wedding. We were having a kind of "4 day wedding - party". We were all staying in Waimanalo together and I didn't want anyone to have to leave to drive or walk for dinner. They are so awesome. They came in seamlessly, set up and we ate the most delicious tacos. We had vegetarian, carne asada, and carnitas. Something for everyone, as I had many vegans and vegetarians in my group. Everyone loved it! They couldn't stop talking about how perfect it was! Jennifer and Mike make it so easy, delicious, fresh and fun. Yes indeed as goods as it gets. Quezada's (Jen and Mike) are not only provide amazing food and service, they are amazing people! Simply a must when you are considering what to serve your guests at your next event that you are hosting. They personalized their service by providing fabulous "fiesta" looking table covers. If you are looking for great Mexican food look no further and get Quezada's Salsa to cater your next party. I'm from San Diego and visit Hawaii often so I'm very familiar with good authentic Mexican food. I found them a while back at the Kapolei Farmers Market held at the High School every Thursday. When my company was looking for someone to cater our meeting I told them to call Quezada's. Everyone loved the food! I recommend the carnitas, pineapple pico de Gallo and of course you MUST have the guacamole. read more

Holy Taco Batman!!! I ordered Taco Tuesday from Quezada's last week. I loved the fact that they delivered it to my home and when I got home from working, dinner was POOF! Ready! All that I really needed do was reheat and assemble. I ordered the pork and beef and both were tasty and perfectly seasoned. We also had the salsa pico de gallo and of course the guacamole (for $5 bucks extra and totally WORTH IT!!) Even my friend from Texas LOVED it and she is so picky when it comes to her Mexican food. Totally the BEST Mexican here in Hawaii. Prices are reasonable. You can choose between Taco Kits for $25 that includes 1 lb. of meat (chorizo, carnitas, or carne asada), choice of salsa (mild or spicy), 10 corn tortillas, and accompaniments (cilantro, onions, lime). If you are having a party of 25+ guests and like Mexican food I highly recommend catering from Michael at Quezada's Salsa. He studied Mexican cooking from his grandmother in Mexico! I've had their home delivery 4 times and saw them at an event, love what they are doing. For the home kit they'll give you want you want, take your pick of guacamole and different salsas, and then carnitas, chorizo and steak. I like mixing the steak and the chorizo, that's a favorite. Take that, the guac, and their red spicy salsa in a tortilla and I'm totally happy. Kits are good sized so easy to have leftovers to cook up with eggs in the morning. Heck yeah. read more

I have reviewed their salsa before but I wanted to review their catering. All I can say is the food was delicious and it was GONE! So many compliments on the food from our party guests! I will definitely use them again. The meat was tasty and so flavorful. They were very professional and Jennifer was very helpful when I was trying to decide exactly how much food was needed for the number of guests we had. If you're getting more than one meat DEFINITELY make sure the Chorizo is one of them! I seriously couldn't get enough! And don't forget the guacamole and pico de gallo! Fresh and delicious! So glad I stopped by Makeke Kapolei yesterday and got samples from Quezada's Salsa. They are so much more than salsa, everything I tasted was so fresh and amazing. I'm very disappointed. I tried to place an order one day and the lady on the phone said she was gonna call me back and don't get me wrong she was very kind! But I didn't get a call back. My family and I have been wanting to order for so long but was always too busy. It just really sucked that the lady didn't call back because we were so excited to eat some tacos. read more

I just moved here from japan and my friend recommended to try their taco tuesday kit which includes salsa, carnitas and guacamole. The best I have ever had. Everything is so fresh. I have never had pineapple salsa before and it was so good. I traveled many country and tried Mexican food in everywhere since I am such a big fan of Mexican food and they are the best. Michael definitely doesn't skimp on quality (or quantity) of his product - he takes the time to develop a very flavorful dish that pairs well with a variety of foods; but can also stand on its own with tortilla chips. I wasn't a huge fan of tacos until I tasted this couple's delicious food. (I was impartial to tacos.) The salsas and the guacamole taste like you've been transported to Mexico for a brief moment. Also, Jen and Mike are absolutely darling and provide the best Taco Tuesday delivery service! It's a reasonable price for the amount of tacos you can make with just a kit for two. read more

Recently catered my wife's surprise bday party. Not only did they deliver on good quality & quantity food but outstanding customer service. Presentation was outstanding and super accommodating to our changing plans. I recommend these folks for any event (they also have breakfast sets) You cant get this type of authentic Mexican food on the islands, truly enjoyed it. PS: their salsas were possibly the freshest we've had in a while! read more

If you having a craving for Mexican food, I highly recommend ordering the "Taco Tuesday" meal. You will get fresh homemade delicious Mexican food delivered right to your door. No matter where you are on the island of Oahu, they will deliver to you. You won't be disappointed with the quality and quantity that you get. There is enough food to feed 2 people or one person for a few meals. You can also customize your order each week. Their customer service is great because they will contact you to find out what you would like to have for your weekly order and they are always very accommodating. read more

We just had Michael and Jennifer cater my husband's promotion ceremony for about 30 people. They were prompt to respond to answer any questions I had in my reservations. They showed up to our event early to setup on time and the food was made hot on the spot. Our event was located on Fort Shafter Army Base and they were able to quickly obtain a visitor pass to get on and setup which was very convenient for us. The food was delicious and the variety of salsas were fresh and a big hit. They were very professional and easy to work with, I can't say enough great things about them. Coming from CA I miss all the great Mexican food. Jen and Mike came over to host my holiday work party. They are the sweetest couple and reply to emails and texts right away. They have the best salsas and their carne asada and chorizo tacos were so delicious! I wish they had a store front as I would visit it week. We had a catered lunch in our office. The food was a-maz-eeng! I have had no equal on the entire 8-Island chain! Tacos with fresh tortillas and juicy well seasoned carne asada and carnitas! And the black beans! Oh my goodness! So good! As well as the rice. I ate seconds. And I never never eat seconds at lunch. So know this Quezada's! I'm coming to track you down and find out how I can get your tacos on your Tuesday delivery day. Quezada Salsa is a husband and wife duo. Hired them for my sons Taco TWOsday birthday party and I'm so glad I did! I've lived in Vegas and San Diego and great Mexican food is hard to come by here in Hawaii. Restaurants here in Hawaii over season their meats too much but Quezada seasons it perfectly. We catered for 75 people and had all 3 meats (carne asada, carnitas and chorizo). They offered a bunch of selection of salsas. They arrived early around 1030 to start cooking the food and by the time my guest arrived, it was time to start eating. They stayed about 1 1/2 hours after to make sure we were doing okay and heated up some warm tortillas. Jennifer even helped me pair the salsas with each taco. I wish I can relive that day again because I'm craving for more of their delicious tacos. Everyone at the party kept asking where I found them and wanted their info. Hire them and you won't regret it:) I'm so sad I didn't get a chance to take a picture of everything. Thank you again Mike and Jennifer! I will definitely cater through you guys again. read more

We selected Kuoha Culinary for a small family Celebration of Life for our dad. Chef Ed is so kind and easy to work with. He's busy and he secured our date upon initial communication and assured me he'd provide a preliminary proposal within a few weeks. Here's how I described our catering goals for Ed: Hoping for a fusion of local style comfort foods in an elevated style, fine restaurant quality but "not overly fancy" with several protein options and several veggie options. 2 vegetarian guests, not sure if we need dessert catered. Having never booked catering before, I based our budget on previous restaurant celebrations and gave Ed a very, very wide price per head range and told him I'd prefer if we didn't get too close to the higher end of our price range. As promised, Ed returned with a preliminary proposal and it was lower in price than I expected and included more dishes than I had thought we'd get. Ed recommended drop off service as being the most cost effective and easy option for our event. I requested changes to all three entrees and added a few vegetables and the price remained excellent due to my changes balancing each other out. In our phone consultation, Ed answered my questions clearly, concisely, and confidently. For each case where I asked Ed which of 2 or 3 dishes he recommended, he was able to understand my question and kindly offer his recommendation and he was spot on. Never once did he say the dreaded "it's a matter of personal preference". He just knew what would work best and humbly shared his knowledge and experience. I told Ed my mom doesn't really eat Lup Cheong and he said, trust me she won't notice it and it adds so much to the dish ("Local Boy" En Papillote). Sure enough, mama raved about the fish. I asked him a question about 2 different beef dishes and he explained why the dish he recommended was a better fit for drop off catering. I debated to myself about going with Ed's desserts or getting/making our own, I'm not a big dessert person. Ended up going with Ed and requested an assortment of 3 desserts rather than one, great decision because Ed's desserts were a hit. I was so impressed with my initial interactions with Ed that I was referring people to Kuoha Culinary before I even tasted the food! Fast forward to event date: Ed arrived 15 min ahead of his proposed arrival time. He texted my contact friend and me of his ETA. He politely declined our guests' offers of help and he got everything set up beautifully! Received the most compliments ever on our food! We've had many get togethers with the same people and this food experience surpassed those at previous restaurants and event venues, even the fancy ones. Guests were exclaiming raving about the quality and variety (not exaggerating) complimenting every single dish from appetizers to main dishes to veggies, to the rice to the desserts! Yes, even the humble corn and Hapa rice got rave reviews...seriously! People were scanning chef's QR code and reading aloud about the business at the table (a first) and were so grateful and genuinely wowed. The dishes that were most complimented were the Local Boy Fish En Papillote, Ahi Tataki and the mini tart desserts: Lilikoi Crème Brûlée, Ube Cream, Chef Ed's Chocolate with Haupia The quality was better than the type of restaurant where they give you a deck of cards-sized protein on a plate, with quantity being better than places where you need 2 hands to carry your plate lunch. Best combination ever! Our guests made generous plates to go. I even scraped the sauces into ziplocs to freeze for helping with my own cooking. Hours after the meal and into the next day, people were saying how much they enjoyed everything. The next day, my cousin expressed for the second time how impressed he was with Ed's ability to keep all food at the perfect temperature, texture and consistency. Kuoha Culinary surpassed our goals going beyond merely "impressing" our guests and achieved something even more meaningful: Our guests felt honored, grateful, and joyful. We were scheduling an "employee appreciation" lunch for Aloha Friday and we heard that we must try Quezada's Salsa for catering. We were more than excited once they started to setup seeing all the vibrant colors of their salsas. The smell of the carne asada and carnitas immediately started to fill up our warehouse and smiles ensued. Everyone started preparing their tacos, filling up with pico de gallo, rice, beans, chips, guacamole and salsa.The huge array of salsa's were a huge hit, especially the pineapple salsa. They advertise the business as "Bringing a little spice of Mexico to Hawaii" and they delivered (no Passport needed). Once again we got to eat Michael Quezada's delicious mexican food. We traveled from Honolulu to Kapolei to go to the Farmer's Market this evening. Mike and his lovely assistant, Jennifer served us their wonderful tacos and nachos. They were mouth watering and delicious. We know that Mike and Jen only use the freshest ingredients and are extremely clean in their food preparation. We brought home two kinds of salsa (a green salsa and a pineapple salsa). OMG! Mike (the owner) should be arrested because his food is totally addictive. I went to a party and his food and salsa was being served and all I heard was: 1: this is amazing 2. This is crazy good 3. How does he make this? 4. I have to order his "Taco Tuesday's food" 5.
