I always have a great experience at this location! Most recently Susan was my phlebotomist, she was great! So personable and went over every detail. I was in and out without an appointment. I love this location because the staff is always so friendly and accommodating. Parking is ample. I usually find a spot right in front but they also have a back lot. The staff is thorough and works quickly without making you feel rushed. read more

I just left the Quest Center in Winter Springs, and I had the pleasure of interacting with Susan. Well let me just tell you that Susan got my vein on the first stick. She loves her job and it shows. If I could request a phlebotomist for my visit, I would always request Susan. She was personable, knowledgeable, and fabulous. We bonded over special needs kids and the visit was over before I knew it. She was wonderful. She obviously loves her job--it shows in the best ways possible. read more

Not front desk staff location is ran on a skeleton crew. If my insurance did not require me to only use Quest it would be my last choice for lab work. Decent looking location and convenient however the staff is disconnected from the customers in The waiting room which is a issue. Making is personable is a big plus in my book.. read more

The place is crazy slow. It takes appts and walk ins but I waited as walk in 2 hrs and 10 min and they still were not on schedule moving things along. Had to walk out! There is no receptionist to check in; God forbid if you do not know how to use a computer style check in yourself, as many elderly folks can't do ; you are really screwed. Was poke twice today during labs, nurse tried to go for a third time even though I was visibly in pain and also on the verge of a panic attack. I instructed the nurse before starting what was the best course of action to drawl blood the quickest. She ignored me now I am left with a bruised arm and no lab work completed. Understaffing is the rule in this place. The phone line is a joke. It is a circular set of useless pre-recorded messages, without a human that can provide answers. I was looking for empty jar for a stool sample. After, I lost my time on the phone, decided to go there. Same story, no humans in the reception, and no procedure to collect empty jars.... it turns to be that in the sign in machine, if you go to help (could you hide it more), there is an option for request empty jar. The problem is that nobody is designed to attend that request. Basically, you are just waiting until you can intersect one of the lab workers, and ask the favor that check your order to give you the right container... the problem here is the lack of procedure. The official guideline is they will attend appointments, if there are no appointments maybe someone look to help you... so, depending in your luck, you could be all day until there is a gap and they review for what you need. Effectively, the only way to get attended there is intercepting a lab worker, or make an official appointment (lose 20 minutes making that appointment). I do not blame the workers, it is management. It is very obvious they need a worker in the sign ins that helo people, pick up the phone.. it is really sad seeing those senior people getting lost navigating in the sign in machine. At the end, their lab people has to teach the people how to use the sign in machine, which is inneficient. They should pay a worker to do that. read more

This is a fantastic diagnostic lab! The team are very friendly, helpful, and clearly take pride in their work. I would drive a pretty good distance to come to this location. They're actually that good. I spent a few seconds in scrolled through some of the other reviews. I don't think these folks have experienced and average lab! It's not concierge service, which is good because they don't charge concierge prices! of all the labs I've ever been to this one is the best brand, and fastest I've ever experienced. This place is great. Sometimes it's a pain in the morning when fasting, but that's every lab that time of day. I usually get a lot of blood drawn while fasting and it can lead to passing out. There is someone here who is the only person who has ever been able to stop it. That's a level of skill and knowledge I can respect. With Covid things have changed a bit in the process but still runs really smoothly. I always use this location. read more

I go to Quest Diagnostics because it's my insurance carriers first pick for in-network price negotiations. Also, I've amassed so much laboratory testing through the company that it's nice to have all that information in one place. Their online patient portal is impressive; it keeps track of all your results and also 'trends' that information for you. However, this location in particular (Winter Springs) I can no longer justify going there anymore. I've witnessed and been a victim to many misshapes & gaffes from the employees that work there. Here's some examples: 1) a few months ago I did a glucose test in which they forgot to call me in the back to draw my blood at an exact time as directed 2) today's visit (12/3) the women who drew my blood obviously hit a nerve because I felt this wildly sharp pain radiate up and down my arm 3) I've notice the employee who minds the front is constantly on her phone when traffic winds down - which concerns me. Health Care employees who are not on their break (and in a break "area") should not under any circumstances be pulling out their person cellphones- especially those that sit up front surrounded by patient files. Is there no phone policy for employees at Quest Diagnostics Winter Springs? I imagine an employee engaging in that behavior is in non-compliance of a HIPPA law with regards to patient privacy. Overall very disappointed with the skills and the level of service the employees exhibited. Currently looking at other locations, however, if the service is anything like the Winter Springs location, I will have to drop Quest completely. read more

This place is an absolute joke. There is no one at the front desk to assist you and the technicians down the hall completely ignore you unless your number is up. They made me sign in and wait as a walk-in just to drop off a sample! I was not getting tested and made this clear when someone finally decided to acknowledge my presence ! Just handing them a sample and lab order. In the time it took them to talk to me and tell me how I have to sign in and wait they could have taken my sample and lab order! It should not take 30 minutes to drop off a time-sensitive sample! read more

They are so rude at this location. If you don't have an appointment they are rude in the way they speak to you and discourage you to wait incase a cancellation becomes available. However, they choose not to see you even if appointments don't show up. Was there 45 minutes only one person had appointment everyone else was walk in and they just kept getting an attitude and saying walking could be here all day and not be seen. Yet they had no one they were taking care of and a waiting room they could see but refused. Elderly people who they were just treating so disrespectfully. read more

Had an appointment and arrived early. Waited for more than over an hour while the waiting room turned over 3 times. Walk-Ins were called in. Appointments were called. I went from 1 min to 4 min, to 1 min to 6 min, to 1 min... over and over. Called the office, which went to a call center. Confirmed my confirmation code and appointment. The guy didn't know what was going on and had to reach out to the location, since he could see what was happening. worst time wasting appointment. read more

I recently had a GREAT experience with Nikki! The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because I had two interactions with 2 other staff that weren't so friendly, but I'd give Nikki 5 stars! My body often has a vasovagal response when getting my blood drawn so I've learned that I always need to request a bed. The first two people I interacted with in order to request a bed acted like I was stupid. But Nikki was so kind, patient, and compassionate. She took her time to find my vein and drew my blood with the 1st try. So I give Nikki 5 stars at this location! read more

Updating my review and eating a bit of crow along with it. I went to Advent's lab at CentraCare on Red Bug this morning. There were 14 people in line, outside on the sidewalk! In my dreams ( to be fair, someone gave me erroneous info) there would be seating for these old bones. Wrong! Staff did take pity on me though and sent me to the head of the line. Normally, I do not leave reviews however I feel I need to due to my bad experience with the receptionist lady named Angelina. I was a walk-in customer with a few different lab paperwork. Upon arrival I did not wait too long before I thought my name was called (similar sounding name). I approached the desk and was talked down to for miss-hearing my name so I sat back down. Right as I sit down, my name is called. I go up there again and give her my paperwork. She proceeded her demeaning rude attitude as I asked normal medical questions about my lab paperwork and payment. Absolutely just rude for no reason. Angelina calls another lady over to help "explain" this to me like I am an idiot, when in reality she was making everything so difficult. I believe this lady had higher authority than her and explained everything very easily in a non-complicated manner. She was so helpful and nice and apologetic about Angelina's behavior. Unfortunately, I do not remember her name. Then I proceeded to get bloodwork done and leave. Angelina was so rude that I was told that the gentleman in front of me had to talk to someone else and told her to not converse with him whatsoever. The entire time she talked to me was condescending and unpleasant. My overall experience with everything else was fine. Regardless if she was having a bad day or this is how she normally is, this should not be the face of a company and it is very unprofessional. No customer should ever be treated with such disrespect, embarrassment, and rudeness; especially at medical places. I hope the next time I go back or if I do, I won't be treated this way again or they will have a better receptionist.
