Booked a lab appointment the day before I needed one and got the time of my choice! I received an…read moreemail confirmation of my lab appointment. I was able to defer inputting my health insurance and lab orders, and submit that when I arrived, which made the booking process very easy. I received a text message on the day of my appointment, at least an hour prior to check in, with a link to click to notify them of my arrival in the waiting room. When I went to my appointment, I parked and walked to the old location to which I saw a cardboard sign that said they moved to 160 International Parkway Suite 100. I walked around the Winn Dixie plaza looking for it, but could not find it. I went back to my car, plugged in the address and saw it was on the other side of the parking lot. I drove over there and found lots of parking. When I entered, there was a large sign pointing towards Suite 100. Iclicked on the link on the text message to say that I was there. When I entered the waiting room, it was entirely full! There were at least 12 people waiting and it was cramped. For that reason, I waited in the hallway just outside. I was worried I would not hear them call my name with the door shut, but I received a text message from quest one minute prior to them calling my name! That text message told me to go into the waiting room, as I would be called soon. I no sooner sat down when I got called to my appointment. Initially, I arrived to my appointment a bit late because of the location change snafu that I was unaware of. Although it was clear on the email where I was supposed to go I just assumed it was at their old location, so that is my fault. But even though I got to my appointment late, they still helped me in a very reasonable time. I was surprised that I was not penalized for being late. My attendant took my lab requisition, insurance and ID. It took about 5 min to get the computer part done, pay my deductible, and then a quick lab draw, and I was out. I was provided a receipt for my purchase. I would schedule here again in the future. It was a much better experience than what I had at the old location.

I had to ask one of the phlebotomists that was taking a patient, to help me. She said that because I was more than 15 minutes early, the app was not letting me check in. I had to go to the computer to check in. I was taken in for the blood draw. The phlebotomist was very friendly, but she couldn't see my veins and called for help. The other seasoned phlebotomy was fast and good. I am very grateful for that. Thank you.

The desk person shouldn't be in the front office, at least who was there when I went. That QR code you get to scan when you book an appointment, well, I'm not sure what it is for since you need to scan your ID at the kiosk. All my information showed up. I think I am registered, but I am not going to go through the trouble of asking. Bottom line, if you are going to come here, absolutely make sure you made an appointment online, you have your ID and orders, and are prepared to stand and wait. So, why four stars? I needed to get blood work done. When I went in, the woman phlebotomist had a little trouble finding one of the tests in their system from my order. Oh, man, I'm thinking. This is not going to go well... When she asked which arm I said, "You pick, since my veins like to hide." She started with my left arm and said the vein kept popping out of the way. "I'm not hurting you, am I?" To this I look down, and as much as she is trying, I barely feel anything. She gives up and tries the right arm. Same thing is happening, and then she says, "Sweet Jesus, there you are." I get my blood drawn with less pain than perhaps ever before, and here I am writing this a day later, and looking at both arms and can't see anything happened. What magic was this? Yeah, I would go back here and hopefully get the same person to draw my blood. She did say that if I ever do come back just point to where she got it before and it will be a lot easier next time.

I am a licensed insurance agent. I have a client who has insurance and MD Now is IN NETWORK with…read morethe coverage. The client has a contracted copayment of $50 for "in network" urgent care. This client went to MD now - and the person behind the desk took the insurance card and stated - "we do not accept this insurance." The number to call and verify benefits is on the front of the card - and the person behind the desk REFUSED to call the number to verify benefits. My client was treated and paid $180 for the visit. The client called me the next day - and I was able to verify that MD Now IS in network, and my client should have been covered for the $50 copay. I have been able to contact the claims department at the insurance carrier and have found out the MD Now submitted THAT claim to the insurance carrier - and that the insurance carrier PAID THE CLAIM. So MD Now took money from my client and then accepted payment for the claim from the insurance carrier. (This is FRAUD in case you haven't already figured it out.) To make matters worse - the client was then billed by MD Now for an additional amount over $300. If you wonder why your insurance and healthcare costs are soaring - here is an example as to why. My client has given MD Now multiple opportunities to refund $130 to him. (Remember - he had a $50 copay due - and he paid $180 on the spot at the time of service. They refuse to refund him the money. They say the insurance company owes him (But they don't. The insurance company PAID MD NOW the claim - which MD Now filed.
