Did a walk in. They open at 7am on Sat and there were already 8 people ahead of me when I got there at opening. They moved quick and I was out the door by 7:20am. Efficient and friendly staff. I saw a handicapped child who needed bloodwork and heard his initial cries, but the staff worked wonderfully with the child to get the job done. Even sang songs. Kudos to this staff! I had a fasting appointment at 6:30 in the morning and this location is not my usual office. Because of my medical condition, I have to have a blood draw annually, sometimes every six months. I appreciate that they were prompt as I was very hungry when I woke up the morning of the appointment. The person who did the blood draw was quick and I was out of there in less than 10 minutes. This location is not good. I came in as a walk-in at around 11:15 AM and they closed at 12 PM. I watched all the people with appointments get brought in and they could have had time for me when it was 10 minutes to closing. One of the workers came out and asked are you waiting for someone? And I said no I am a walk-in. She then said that they are not taking walk-ins anymore. I asked why did the kiosk let me check in as a walk-in then? She said she doesn't know. I wasted 45 minutes of my time waiting when I could have just gone to a different location. Avoid coming here if you are a walk-in. They are not nice. went here to get my blood test last week and it went smoothly! i had elise do my blood test with me and she was super sweet and accommodating! i typically have small veins so i requested a butterfly needle and she was kind and receptive to the request. she took her time to find the perfect vein and was able to get it in one try! she even gave me stickers at the end! would definitely come see her again here! read more

Avoid this Quest Diagnostics in Westminster. This has been one of the most frustrating experiences I've had. I waited over 1.5 hours in the walk-in line, only to be told they stop seeing walk-ins at 11:30 AM--yet there was no signage or communication to inform anyone of this policy. Even more frustrating, the staff made no effort to accommodate walk-ins, even when there were long stretches--sometimes 10 minutes or more--when no one with an appointment was present. Instead of helping walk-ins during that downtime, they simply stood by and waited for the next appointment to arrive. It felt like they were more focused on sticking to their schedule than actually helping people who were already waiting. Poor communication, lack of efficiency, and complete disregard for walk-in patients make this location one I wouldn't recommend. read more

My family is usually go to this place since it's close to our house. However, I had worst experience ever recently at this place. The new employee lady name Holy or something like that, she is vein fishing and super slow. After she got the blood sample, she let my dad bleeding out without giving him a bandage. My dad asked her to stop labeling her tubes and putting the bandage instead, she yelled at my dad telling him she is working and do not distract her ?! Im speechless of that. Came in for a walk in at 10, we waited for them to tell everyone in the lobby at 11:30 they aren't taking any walk ins. There was about 13 people waiting way longer than us, very not professional and wasting peoples time that have been there since opening. It took less than 3 minutes for me to get admitted. Tracy was great! She was very nice and professional in making sure I understood the process and insurance fees. I came here on Friday at 6:30 am for a blood draw, which I did have to fast for. I did have an appointment so about 5 minutes after check in I was called back. Since I hadn't eaten since 5pm the day prior I was getting very light headed and nauseous after the second tube. The 2 ladies took great care of me and made sure that I was good to go. This business was a little difficult to find. The suite number is #108, but the suites are not in chronological order. Just look for the red metal framed glass door at the corner nearest the medical center entrance. The waiting area was clean and had plenty chairs. The staff were nice and helpful! read more

Checked in early as a standby and was told four hours later that they were no longer accepting walk-ins as they have families too and need to leave at 12 (and this was at 11:00 am). They should not allow walk-ins if they tell you on the screen that it will be 30-60 minutes as appointments come first and then have you wait over four hours to say sorry we can't see you. You already knew how many people were coming because of appointments, so shame on you for allowing walk-ins if we won't be taking us in. The ladies at this location were very rude. It is a good lab for Vietnamese patients because they have staff who can speak Vietnamese. However, there is one issue that is technology and humans. I mean that there was not make sense between check-in online and person. People can make an appointment online and check-in online. When I arrived, checked in online. It said we can wait in my car until they call or text me, so I didn't wait in the waiting room. I stepped in about 10 mins before the appointment time. I arrived at 8:15 am and waited until 12 noon. at closing time brought out a stack of paperwork asking me to fill out an appointment for another day. If you don't accept walk-ins, say no from the beginning. I had to wait nearly 4 hours without eating or drinking anything and not being able to use the restroom. Came at 8:40ish AM & receptionist wouldn't allow walk in even though she just turn away a patient before me home for not having the lab order. Why? 1 less person to check in! As most patrons are well aware of by now that most Asian restaurants (especially Vietnamese ones in and around the "Little Saigon" area of Westminster) are infamous for their horrid service or lack thereof. Unfortunately for me personally, it has been truly disgusting and disheartening to realize that this sort of known bad service by a specific group of entitled, snooty "Asians" (Vietnamese in particular) is not unique to just the food service industry. The following described encounter is yet another example of half a dozen other occurrences of which I have disturbingly endured in just only the past few weeks involving this particular group of entitled Vietnamese laborers within their so-called "hospitality" and (now) "medical" services industries. I arrived at my scheduled appointment on a weekday afternoon at this lab facility located off Brookhurst Street. Shockingly, the place was completely empty with the exception of me and one walk-in customer, an elderly Asian woman, who haphazardly dropped in the office to ask a few basic questions about their services. She was being attended to by a lone front desk clerk who happened to be an older Vietnamese female in her mid-40s or perhaps 50s (who the hell knows with some of these Asian women). After checking-in for my appointment at the stand-alone, self-service tablet at one of the empty desks, I proceeded to sit down and waited to be called. In an empty spacious waiting room with eerily-placed plastic chairs spread across the cold concrete floor about 10 feet apart, the lone female front desk clerk barked out my name from her seat. I promptly got up and handed her my ID and medical insurance card then proceeded to ask if I needed to fill out any required paperwork. Completely ignoring my question, she abruptly snapped back, "Where's your doctor's orders?" Embarrassingly, I was in such a hurry to be on-time for my appointment that I failed to grab my lab request form still sitting on my office desk about 2 miles away. I apologized and asked if I could quickly retrieve my lab form which was located but a few minutes away and return to complete my blood work. If I had had the opportunity to quickly return with my paperwork, then I would have happily waited as a typical walk-in customer if there were others that showed up after my initial scheduled appointment. Given the fact that the entire place was currently and completely empty with just me and her talking, I mistakenly assumed that my request to return within a few minutes would not have been a big issue. First, not only was I wrong in this regard, but, second, (and here comes the best part) - this rude, pompous, Vietnamese female desk clerk brazenly told me, in a completely empty waiting room, that there was "a lot of other people ahead of [me]..." and that maybe I "should go to another place," insinuating that I should take my business elsewhere. I gladly took her advice and did not return. Luckily, my brilliant Vietnamese wife found a more suitable facility that could accommodate my Asian blood type. read more

Great experience! I got lab requests printed out from my doctor and I went to the website right away to check out available appointment times for the upcoming days. There were some that were available the same day, but I was required to fast for my tests. I ended up finding an appointment for the following week in the morning. I was able to input my insurance and personal information. Allow them to send you text notifications!! It makes things so much easier and faster! And after scheduling the appointment I was sent a confirmation text and also got a confirmation code. My appointment was at 8:10am and I got a reminder text at 7:00am that also had a link to check in once I got into the building. That being said, I got there at 8 am and that's when clicked the link in the text and I was automatically checked in and my name appeared on the tv screen. I ended up getting called back at 8:13. It was probably ten minutes in total. My phlebotomist was really nice :) she looked at my lab requests and put them in the computer and verified my insurance and payment. After that she sat me down and drew my blood. I guess I went pale or looked scared because she held my arm and I asked if I was okay lol. *Note*** don't stare at the blood going into the tube cuz it's a lil gross haha*** after that she bandaged me and that was that! I had a wonderful experience here and I HATE blood tests!!! Around 935am, I made an appointment online for 10am (luckily they had an opening!) after seeing on yelp that people said it's way better to make an appointment versus just walking in. My phlebotomist was named Kerry, and he was so nice and caring! He saw that I was really scared and told me it was going to be alright. Then he asked who I had come with and I said my boyfriend, to which he was like, "do you want him to come be here with you?!" and it was the sweetest thing!! He brought my boyfriend in and told him to hold my hand and talk to me while he drew my blood. I also had a urine test and my boyfriend was waiting outside the door (and had been waiting quite a while for me). My boyfriend told me that Kerry stopped by and told him to check up on me! I'm so lucky I got Kerry! He made the experience way better for me. read more
